I am very unhappy with the difficulty of communicating with Carrot. The live chat disconnects over and over again making it impossible to resolve any issues. I requested a call back due to this difficulty and I missed the call as I was at work and then the voicemail said to contact by chat again. I think the level of communication is a disgrace. Can someone call me please? I want to cancel my renewal. You should allow customers to pick up the phone and speak to people. Also my renewal quote is very high I've found a cheaper quote which reduced my premium by £350.00.

Awful insurance policy, wasn’t aware I had a curfew when applying for this insurance also the Bluetooth on the wingman they provide is horrendous which has resulted in myself contacting them a number of times for a new wingman. Unfortunately someone crashed into me last December, the other driver was at fault and had admitted liability however carrot told me I had to pay my excess, now my policy has ended and, I have of course gone with another provider, I’ve asked for proof of my no claims discount and they have replied saying I’m not eligible to my no claims bonus any longer because of this accident where I was not at fault!!

If I could give less than 1 I would. DO NOT take out this insurance they do not give young people a chance and are literally just money grabbers!! (Also I’ve heard they pay people to give good reviews)! 😡😡

The company is terrible so many problems very unhappy and have a very important to be dealt with I have tried to email call but theres no customer service team on the phone and unable to log in to live chat do not know how to work it because they work with 3 other companys this is an absolute night mare always they say you need to talk to them then you need to talk to them I have had notice that my policy will canx for no reason yet I cannot sort this out with these people as no one to talk to!!!!!!! FUMING !!!!!!

My app keep recording journeys that I don’t drive and it’s putting my score down. Tried to fix it but knowones done anything about it

Awful service Charged £75 just for cancellation fee within the first 14 days aswell paying the expected days that the policy was taken for

Shockingly bad insurers, counting down the days to when my policy ends! Customer service is incompetent to say the least, the cancellation charges are eye watering so they know that once your signed up they can throw your needs and expectations on the scrap heap as no matter how bad they are it is too expensive to walk away! ... Also the only insurers i have ever come across that refuse to add siblings named drivers! ... Cowboy insurer if ever their was one!

I took out a policy to start on the 23rd June 2019 and have spent nearly a week trying to get the better driver app to let me take the photos you require and i have used Live chat, (which is not live at all ) 6 times now and it asks the same questions and all i get is a standard electronic reply saying to go on website and use Live chat. on the website it states that you can sak robot on live chat to get someone to call you but it does not allow the question to be asked. I paid a lot of money for this insurance and I had a letter 5 days after insurance started threatening me with cancellation in 3 days time if i cant send photos in , but how do i do it!

The app still isn't working after being with them for two months and I had to ring them for updates on fixing it.

Threatening to cancel my insurance, and charging me a £70 charge because there was a discrepancy that I am not aware of. I will not be paying this and will be cancelling my policy shortly

Impossible to get in contact with you, you have not helped me in any way in regards to my problems with the App, Better Driver and now you are threatening to cancel my insurance. Interesting that you are so easy to contact me when threatening to end my insurance but you've made it impossible for me to contact you when trying to resolve this issue. What do I do now that I can't fix the app and you're going to cancel my insurance tomorrow? I've paid for a service, I deserve a service.

Horrible customer service waiting for one hour for someone to answer plus that every day you get threats that your insurance will cancel for nothing.The devise double ups the registration of miles you drive!!!!!!!The most stressful insurance company I came across

The company’s app does not work properly. The system it uses for calculating averages is flawed and when you do the calculations yourself you get different results. It’s a company geared towards cancelling your insurance. AVOID THEM

They are really difficult to actually get in contact with. Although the cheapest insurance for myself for my first year I would not recommend. Having the black box is fine just don’t think it is at all accurate. Still think for being 25 that my insurance being £1,500 for the year is quite expensive. Would have tried else where if I had of known how many issues I would have had with them. Also don’t think that there should be a curfew on the black box. And also the thing about taking breaks after an hour of driving is a bit ridiculous. Won’t be renewing with them next year.

On hold for 1 hour or more whenever I ring up. Black box is constantly saying my usage is bad when I’m going to college or work. Won’t be getting insurance again, it’s terrible.

Bad service, wish I read the reviews before joining up. Was the cheapest option but now cancelled and happy to pay extra for better service. Recieved the same text/email threatening me that they will cancel my policy because I had a red week. The ratings were very inaccurate, I'd do the same drive and one day have Red mark another day have Green mark, both drives would be similar time & drove exactly the same. Phoned up to cancel the first time & was on hold for 30 minutes, told them I wanted to cancel was put on hold for another 10 minutes, by this time I'd given up as I had other things to be getting on with. I thought I'd drop them an email just to let them know I'd be cancelling but still haven't recieved a response. Phoned the next day was on hold for 30 minutes again, when I said my reasoning for cancelling was due to the threatening emails recieved she said this is the first time someone has complained about this & she'll look into it... most if not all the bad reviews mention the threat of Carrot cancelling the policy, so this shows they aren't bothered about how their customers feel. Would recommend anyone to read up about Carrot before joining.
