Awful...I told them not to auto-renew and they sent me the insurance and charge. Trying to contact them for 3 days......KEEP AWAY...THESE GUYS ARE GENUINE CON ARTISTS.

I’ve been with Devitts for 3 years on auto renewal because they are reasonably priced, and I’ve never had any issues with them. I spent almost 2 hours on hold to get through to an operator. I’ve just had to cancel my insurance as I have sold my bike. My annual premium was £117, and I’ve just been charged £70 to cancel 3 months into the year. Seems a bit excessive to charge so much, more than 60% of my premium to leave after 3 years loyalty. Daylight robbery.

Absolutely terrible for motorcycle insurance, if you're thinking of devvit I'd suggest MCE. Better prices and less cheating involved

Couldn't insure my bike. They didn't warn me when it was about to be renewed and couldn't propose any alternative - so leaving me in the lurch.

I have been trying contact Devitt for the past 2 days/ No one answering the phones. This is extremely shoddy poor customer service. I have tried the various telephone numbers. No joy.. Kept on hold for 20 mins at a time. Then I gave up. Not sure on the charge of phone calls. Plus they do not tell you where you are in the queue if there is such a thing as a queuing system in the call centre. This service is not good enough Devitt. Apologies are not enough when you do nothing about the ongoing problem.

Competitive price and good cover in general. However don't think I will renew or insure with Devitt again because of poor communication when submitting documents. I submitted photos of my motorcycle and a mileage agreement only to receive a letter stating my policy was to be cancelled due to them not receiving this information. Prior to this I received an email confirming Devitt had received the necessary documentation. Sent an email to request clarification that I am insured but no response. With such poor service I hope I never have to make a claim.

Devitt Insurance, home of the worlds longest phone queue. If you are busy and on the run Devitt can guarantee that you will be held in limbo for as long as possible causing as much disruptions as possible. Their highly trained staff make it their lifes work to waste your time for as long as possible all so you can stay legal, yes it's unfortunate but this insurance company will have you by the privates the second you click accept.

Watch the charges for mid term alterations.. i was quoted £75 to cancel a policy "reduced" to £50 as i was a good customer. They also do not refund anything under £10. So my £140 policy cancel 4 months into it produced a nil return premium as i was due £54 back. If they had kept the £75 charge i would have owed them money!! How can it cost £50 to press a button????

I cancelled with-in the time period due to ill health.... Then they took me to a debt recovery BLOOMING awful company to deal with... WARNINGS should be advised not to go to this company..... Go some-else for a policy they might be cheap but AWFUL just to warn you who buy's from this company

Changed bike mid policy. They charged a riduclous premium I've never paid this much in 15years of riding and never come across a more unhelpful team of people. Its all about commission obviously will ensure nobody I sell a motorcycle too ever uses devitt insurance

I buy motor insurance because the law says I have to. So I appreciate an insurance company who will take my money, send me a certificate, process a claim without fuss and otherwise keep out of my life Devitt have failed in that respect, one month in and I'm being spammed with silly invites to write a review to win a prize. If I wanted a prize I would have bought one. I don't want a prize. I wanted insurance, so I bought it. I didn't want Spam!
