Do not recommend, poor customer service communication. Fed up going back and forth over a system issue on their end. AVOID ( been with them 10years NO CLAIMS OR CURRENT CONVICTIONS )I will be looking at new insurance providers now!!!

Have been with diamond for 4 years then had a home invasion and both cars AUDI A5 & AUDI A1 stolen so made a claim. Very good regarding the claim but afterwards was when the problems started. The insurance for the one replacement car (Toyota CHR) less powerful, less expensive and less appealing to theives was double what we were paying for 2 cars! I accepted this as a consequence of making a claim. This year at renewal and an extra year of no claims price went up by 40% from £770 to £1200. Spoke to customer services who told me the extra year of NCB meant only a small INCREASE of £18.00??? and the rest was 'other factors' they could not tell me what these other factors were! Went to LV who gave better coverage and a £700 saving. What a ridiculous way to treat customers. Be aware there is NO REWARD FOR LOYALTY in the insurance business.

I’ve been with this company for 11 years and they’ve raked up their prices every year. I had an accident that wasn’t my fault last year and their legal team have been appalling! After being quoted double for my renewal, they were very unhelpful and would only offer £20 off per month, which is still more than double most of their competitors. Avoid like the plague! You don’t get what you pay for from this company!

A terrible company. £575 to renew with 8 years no claims, all which have been earned with them. Went online (£195). Contacted them and they offered a £24 refund, as car is now worth 1/3 of original value, but then wanted to charge £25 “to amend the policy”. I pay my premiums infill each year so attempted to contact them to tell them I did not want to renew. Shocking telephone service 3 attempts all around half hour waiting time to then to Be disconnected. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

If I could give 0 starts. I would. I've been with this company for a few years. Broke down last night, and waited over 3 hours to be recovered. Then I told them where the car was being recovered too didn't allow me a hire car because basically, I wasn't going to a local garage but one I use all the time. Baring in mind I was in London it was nearly 9pm wouldn't be able to leave my car at a closed garage and then be able to get back there the next morning to explain the problem. Due to covid the recovery van couldn't take me home and they would see if I could get a taxi but was unsure! To which I was about to be left in the dark in a place I hardly knew I had to walk over a mile to the train station to then get a bus and walk over a mile home in the dark this all happened at 6pm and I didn't get home until nearly half 11 that night. What sort of company allows a woman to be left in a vulnerable situation ! Avoid at all costs.

Diamond do not value customer loyalty at all. I had been with Diamond for three years, yet for the second year running I had been given a higher auto renewal fee than what my current premium was on. Not to mention over the past year other fees Diamond have tried to claim from me. Not trustworthy or respectful towards its customers.

After being with Diamond for 7 years, I was surprised to receive a nice £88 bill/warning from Diamond insurance. They auto-renewed my policy without my knowledge. They didn't have my payment details, but no problem! They renewed it anyway for 22 days and then canceled it (charging a £50+ cancelation fee). So... without my knowledge, they renewed my policy, then canceled it, and then charged a cancelation fee hahah! AND on a side note, watch out because they will try to increase your renewal premiums every year, hoping you won't bother to check. Every year I had to negotiate to get it lowered. ALSO check out the dodgy 5 star reviews they have here... one mentioned "paying shipping", very weird. Seems like someone is trying to manipulate the rating.

Originally, thought they were great! BUT, they held information from me regarding my claim, which resulted in me being led to believe it was being dealt with, and then 4 months after the accident it all comes out!! Awful communication, doesn't seem like they actually want to support you as their customer, and want to settle with anything easily...WOULD NOT recommend!!! I will be taking this further!

Terrible. I brought a car insurance policy with them, my occupation was incorrect. Not sure why or how as I inputted it correctly however upon requesting to change this within 5 minutes of getting policy documents, I got told via the live chat that the premium would increase by over £1000 just to amend the occupation! The policy was £1340 and they were then going to try and charge an additional £1000 on top! Luckily due to the current times in the country, they had to offer cancellation free of charge!

Absolute joke of a company. If you report an accident that wasn't your fault and you send photos, they will eventually tell you that photos have no purpose as they are not a moving image. I'm pretty sure if you had a enemy they would fight your corner more than these clowns.

These people are absolute robbers, been with them for 4 years and so far price stayed roughly the same and this year even though a named driver had his points REMOVED it went up 2000!! We phoned and asked what is going on as we thought they made a mistake and they could only say “a number of factors come to play but i cant specify any of them as i wouldnt know” we had a lot of problems with this company as they stole money out our account without us knowing and then claimed it was accidental, as a way of apologising they promised us we would “be in for a shock” when we went renew, i can definetly confirm we were in for a shock the renewal went up by 2k, stay away from these idiots.

beware of cheap quotes from this admiral company , once you've paid they take more money off you in the name of administration. 40 pounds for changing a couple of digits. I think this is a ploy to get more cash of customrs

I had an accident which wasn’t my fault and was treat appallingly by Diamond. Tried to put a claim in but they kept dismissing it even with photographic evidence and my record from going to A&E. All they care about is themselves! They claim to care about their customers but all they are about is not losing out on money! AVOID THEM!

although diamond aim to be the best insurers I can tell you from experience, this is far from the truth. They try to keep parts of your policy from you In order to prevent you from claiming. All diamond are interested in is increasing profits whilst doing customers out of pocket.

Had a very bad experience, I was the policy holder with prov lic, with another manual full lic driver on the policy, once I passed with automatic licence, the charged me for getting full lic. Then now, after few months they have cancelled my policy cos I don't hv full manual lic and cant be on the policy. They can only apologies for this with no help.

Phoned up to cancel my car insurance due to selling the car.. got charged nearly 3 months direct debit payments to cancel it.. then they told me they were the cheapest!! Asked me if I would use them in the future, of course I said no. Won’t be using them again and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
