warning warning this company takes money from peoples account that does not have a car policy with them.i had a sum off £111.34 taken out of my account and was on phone for 36 miniutes trying to get them to give money back they refused saying i was responsible for my sons debt. i am going to report to police as theft. please do not use this bad company if you do look at small print as they are a law to themselves unhappy

I am reviewing this company on every review site possible to persuade people against using this joke of a company. Cannot find it in me to write out another review but this site here pretty much sums up Endlseigh Insurance https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.endsleigh.co.uk Do not be fooled by the (probably fake) reviews on their own site. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Would have given worse review than this if possible: hidden fees, poor customer services, threats of debt collection agencies without demonstrating why an amount has been billed, and all for a £15 debt. Whatever you do choose an alternative insurer.

Contacted endsleigh after i got renewal notice for home contents. Their best quote was 300% more expensive than comparable policy with legal and general ! So i informed them i would not be renewing. All seemed well until i got a threatening letter from premium credit that they had not received a payment. Got in touch with endsleigh who told me after investigation that my instruction had indeed been received but not acted on. Spent 1.5 hours on this and they refused to compensate me for their incompetence and the time i wasted. Now need to waste more time with premium credit. Be warned avoid endsliegh and premium credit_ the cost of my policy was close to the charges i would have paid to premium credit. If you are a student and end up in similar situation, be under no illusion your credit rating is in danger from these charlatan profiteers. The amount saved has been donated to the UNICEF Yemen appeal...money better directed. Perhaps Endsleigh and Premium credit would also like to donate ...that would be compensation enough for me, and hopefully others who have been let down by this pair of corporate incompetents/bullies!

I am paying more than £45 for student gadget insurance It has certainly been hiked up and it's coming from 2 accounts so I think I am paying twice ! They will not tell me what I am paying for and tell me I cant cancel the policy !!

If I could give a minus 100 I would, do not use this insurance!!! Never pick up the phones... my partner who works in care looking after elderly covid patients tried to change her insurance from old car to new car ..wanted 3x more money for a car with a lower insurance group..and so we had to asked to cancel insurance they refused to pay back the money that was taken out the same day we cancelled!!... disgusting company..AVOID!!!

I took at insurance policy with Endsleigh at the end of September, because I was looking to avoid Premium Credit Limited as they had just entered the business equation with Post Office. It was Premium Credit that I was looking to avoid because their attitude was enough to put me off going a sixth year with Post Office Home Insurance. It inadvertently happened that PCL is also with Endsleigh so I cancelled straight away, what PLC forgot to tell me is that I needed to contact Endsleigh as they would apply a cancellation fee. So today I got an email from Endsleigh demanding I pay £50.00????, In the end that was reduced to £20.00, that was due to the credit controller agreeing with me that PLC should have communicated a requirement that Endsleigh were notified as well at the time I cancelled the credit agreement - to which I never entered. Endsleigh are running a scam which relies on small print and none existent emails/communication to which I was never notified of. I would urge anyone considering Endsleigh for home insurance to think very carefully, this company is seriously dodgy and full of hidden scams and clauses, I recall years ago knowing students who took out policies with them and when there was a need to claim all Endsleigh did was argue and argue, in the end they lost and paid out, but it took a University official to threaten them that if they did not settle the claim they would advise their students not to take out insurance with them. I know after my recent experience with Endsleigh I will NEVER EVER go with them for any type of insurance for the rest of my life- I hope that this posting costs them more than the £20.00 they took off me, given that I am registered disabled, vulnerable given my health and on very low income.

I had a minor bump and they were quick and efficient to deal with this and with no major impact on my payments. I have recommended Endesley to friends and family. Would have put 5 stars but don't rate more than 4

There emergency team is external and also, 4 days after they arranged a boiler call-out, the engineer over compensated the pressure too much. So, it's been over 24 hours in the winter season without heating and hot water, and I was told that my tennants would have to wait another day for a recall to fix it again. They had no consideration for my tennants. Again. If you are a landlord, avoid this company like the plague. They are cheap and support very bad engineers. They don't care if there is no hot water or heating in the house.

I needed to add a driver for a few days and the additional cost was taking out a new policy! We had done it the week before on another policy for a cost of £10. Changed cars after 4 months and again may have taken out new policy cheaper. Weill not use again!

Very poor... currently still waiting on them to finalise this claim.... Very disappointing being pushed from pillar to post !! Once the policy is finished I will be looking elsewhere for a diffrent insurance company ... Nothing but hassle this one is!!

Couldn't get through on the phone - all their operators were busy for over 20mins, even though I was a new customer. Gave up and went elsewhere as if they don't answer for new business, not much chance of getting through if something went wrong !

£30 JUST to change my address. Absolute daylight robbery. No option to do online, so awful for those with poor phone signal. Not touching them again.

I have been with them for 2 years, the last year was by mistake as i forgot to cancel my renewed policy. This year I've managed to find a cheaper policy, however trying to contact C/services with Endsleigh to cancel my present policy them is a nightmare. waited 20 minutes on the phone today, eventually hanged up, they advise you to use the chat link. Chat link is not working, so I'm going to try again on Monday, I do not advise anyone to take out any kind of policy with this company. Useless.
