I went with this company as I could do it on line. However they took my payment but insisted I called them to finish off. But the phone lines were closed. The following day it took me 20 minutes to get through and a further 50 minutes to go over every single question again! If I’d have known that I would have insisted on a refund. I emailed them later on to request some information or a call back and I had an email back saying I was free to call them whenever. No good when u work full time with only half an hour for lunch! Awful customer service and do not recommend at all.

Takes forever to get through to them and they are not very flexible on policy changes and if they do let you they charge a massive premium. Will not be renewing with them when the time comes

A price for insurance was agreed and paid by me. Within 2 days they cancelled the policy and wanted £200 more saying I was using the vehicle for work, I told them I was not. They still cancelled and refunded the money minus £30+ and refused to give it back to me.

It all started badly when I bought the car insurance before reading the reviews. To be honest the customer service team were lovely to speak to but the whole thing seems dodgy. I decided to cancel the insurance and I was charged more than a months fee though I had the policy for less than the 14 days cooling off period.

Terrible company still haven’t paid out on my claim after 6 months total value of claim £1000 so far been interviewed in person for nearly 2 hours and been interviewed on the telephone multiple times very disappointing service as I am in my 70s

Flux direct take my money for deposit then cancel my policy saying I did not disclose information I asked for my deposit be returned to me but they refused will never use them again

FluxDirect (sister to AdrianFlux) gave my boy a good price for his learner insurance. At £588 the nearest quote elsewhere was 4 figures. Problem was they were heavy handed, wanting to know exactly where he worked, how many hours, rate of pay etc. and requested proof via photocopies of wage slips. Scared to death we wouldn't inform them straightaway of his passing, they bombarded us with reminders that if we didn't, we would be breaking the law. On passing, his insurance cancelled itself, but instead of offering him a pro rata 6 months back less £100 and £30, they plucked a figure of 25% from nowhere (3 months) minus the £130. They were simply trying it on.

Slow and expensive call centre. Could not deal with cancellation over the phone and then didn't complete request once email was sent.

Great price but fluxscore app not worked for three weeks and login doesnt work, phoned twice and emailed. Say software probs but that means at present I am unable to view my new driver daughters journeys and updates on driving behaviour!! Been 3 weeks now and dont have time to keep phonin g again and again!!

Took out insurance for my daughter whilst on provisional whilst she was learning to drive. I was recommended them by a family member. Whilst this initial insurance was fairly good value, and having discussed the type of premiums to expect once she had passed her test the goal posts suddenly moved when i rang to upgrade the insurance. I was hit with a cancellation fee on the initial insurance and then the quote they offered was over 40% above the 'discussed premiums' beforehand - over £2000, whilst other applicable companies were offering significantly less. Felt very cheated and that Adrian Flux Insurance had me by the short and curlys!!!!... LOOK AROUND BEFORE USING THESE PEOPLE - now have to pay further cancellation fees but thankfully found far better value. If you need insurance whilst on a provisional licence I suggest you look elsewhere as any 'potential premiums' once a qualified driver will be null and void and you will find yourself having to cancel a policy, pay a charge and be subjected to a large increases - and the customer service team seem to 'lose your call' when you state a lack of interest - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

After selling policy, they kept asking for proof of no claims, and proof of mileage. They treat you like a criminal. I would not use them again.

Hi Geoff, Thanks for your comments. We appreciate your feedback. I am sorry that you are not happy with our service but it is standard procedure for us to ask for supporting documentation and most insurers will request proof of no claims bonus if applicable. The reason we ask for documentation is so that we can verify the information that has been supplied. This allows us to protect the insurance schemes that we have access to and in turn offer the most competitive prices we can for our customers. Kind regards Simon

A lot of faffing taking photos of the car sending docs in then worrying they weren't insuring car didn't know car had alloys has standard on model I had etc had to ring about a dozen times at start of policy to sort out won't be renewing with them that's for sure

When they ring you and request document over the phone, they re-calculate the policy much higher price. Just watch out
