“Renewed two policies a couple of weeks apart. I am rating 3 stars as 1 star removed as the renewal process could be a lot simpler by retaining my info from the previous policy. The second star is because it was cheaper to renew via a comparison website than going directly to the MCE site”

“Good this time but had an accident Clam open for over a year and nearly had to go to court for 3000 grand and the only thing I got from mce was we've lost your side of the statement”

“I wish I could leave less than 1 star. Tried calling MCE to chat about my renewal, waited 45 minutes on hold. decided to do live chat, was told I needed to talk to them about my policy & they would call back within the day (that never happened) done live chat the next day & was told I would get a call back within 72 hours (that never happened) tried calling them again 1 hour on hold and never got through. live chat again today, Aisa answered “said how can I help” I wrote it all down and nothing, she did not reply at all.”

“Bought on line ok. Have now tried 5 times to get through to a sales advisor to sort out a couple of queries. Each time waited 15 minutes before giving up . Tried e mail and still no reply 2 days later. Cheap comprehensive cover but shocking customer service. Don’t buy unless you are certain of all the questions online. Live chat not too bad but can’t answer questions.”

“Went with MCE after my previous bike insurance went from £150 to just shy of £300 pounds (despite not claiming and using less mileage due to lock down.) Printed off hard copies of the policy and realised that I hadn't declared commuting (I work for the NHS). Phoned up and explained what I had done (or not done!!). Expecting to have to pay for the the commute but they wavered it!! Realy made my day. I think this might be the beginning of a beautiful relationship🤔 Regards”
