DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I feel like we have had money stolen. we have been frauded out of £191.28 deposit started on March. We were due to make first payment on 7/4 and received a letter on 4/4 dated 27/3 stating that we had to SORN vehicle as they cancelled our policy due to circumstances with credit at the last minute. When starting the policy we were successful and they took our deposit of 191.28 sent us a welcome pack and 3 days before our policy was due to begin they cancel our policy and tell us via live chat WE DO NOT GET DEPOSIT BACK. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. anything with Europa Group limited please be cautious.

Onequote direct should not be allowed to operate. They take high rates in the industry, but provide no service. They actually cancelled my policy without informing me so that I was left high and dry with no insurance. Absolute criminal lack of consideration for their customers. If we had any kind of government oversight, this company would have been banned years ago.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - wish there were a - star rating. This company shouldn't be allowed to operate. Made a claim (wasn't my fault) they ignored me at first then told me about a third party underwriter who couldn't care less. I eventually had my car scrapped before the road tax ran out and never heard from anyone in this company. And i repeat the accident was not my fault. I'm with Churchill now.

This is the worst insurance company I’ve ever dealt with kept doubling my premiums every time changed car own a 407 diesel now want £104 per month, I’ve been driving for 30 years with full ncb, they renewed my insurance and waited 3 months to tell me I owed 3 months premiums absolute vermin. As a “gesture of good will” said I could pay 156 per month till paid what owed I think not, also when I rang them to complain the gobby agent hung up on me. Avoid at all costs

Totally impossibe to get hold. An insurance company only open Monday to Friday. Had an accident in my car (hit another car nothing too serious).Managed to report it to some idiot on the phone. They then pass it to another company to deal with who have still not contacted me some 3 days later. Lucky no was hurt and I can still drive the car (sort of). They asked NO relevant questions when I reported it and now me and the person I hit are just trying speak to someone to get our cars repaired. Honestly seem like a totaly shower. I am actually quite concernerd that they are actually ligitimate at all!!!

I changed my address and rather than having my car parked on my driveway,( where it wasn’t secure) it was parked in a secure car park surrounded by 3 metre high walls where you needed a fob to get into the car park,so they told me it would put an extra £105 for that. All in all, they are the biggest rip off insurance company I have ever known

Awful company, won’t accept no claims discount paperwork, first time you hear that there is an issue is when they send out notice of cancellation. Still happy to collect the premium though. Stay clear

Quite simply the worst insurance company I have ever used. At first I got quoted a decent price for my insurance which quickly went up. Using such excuses as no claims bonus (which I provided), the area in which I live (which is lovely and highly sort after), where my car is kept (In a garage). I took it on the chin and decided to stay with them. Huge mistake. October last year a bus drove into me. Luckily there where police stuck in traffic who witnessed the entire event. I took the drivers details, the police created an incident report etc. When I got to my destination I rang One Quote Direct and explained the incident. At first they where more interested in where I was driving too. I explained that i was on my way to friends house. I was then interrogated about why I was in Manchester and that I don't have my insurance as a business insurance. I explained that I don't use my car for business. Eventually we got in to the actual incident. They created a report and told me a local garage would be in touch. A week later I got a call from TrustFord in Huddersfield to arrange taking my car in for an assessment. I took the car in which they looked around and filed a report. They then explained how much the repair would COST ME!! I explained that I am not paying a penny as the accident was not my fault. They told me that what information they had received from One Quote Direct said that the fault lied with me. I could not believe this. I range them instantly from which they said they couldn't help because they had closed the incident and as far as they're concerned the matter was finished. I tried to keep my composure and ask how they thought they could justify closing an incident when my car isn't yet fixed? I got fobbed off. I then asked that why are fords offering me a small fiesta when I needed a like for like replacement while my car was getting fixed? They recommended that I hire a car and "Try to recoup the expense from the third party." Aren't they supposed to do that?!!! What exactly am I paying them for? Long story short(ish) my car never got fixed. I had to drive around with a dent on my right wing that wasn't my fault. Recently I have purchased a new car and cancelled insurance with One Quote Direct who are now trying to chase me for £75 cancellation fee. Not a chance. Please, do not use them. They are a sham.

Had insurance with these for a month, they asked for evidence of no claims it was sent. Then they cancel my policy after I'd just paid for the month and no saying as there's cancellation fees I can't get my money back.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Took out car insurance with them. All going fine. Yesterday, an email arrived from them and said there was an issue with a payment due a couple of days ago. I didn't know there was even a problem. I've certainly not had a problem with any of my payments before. Couldn't get into my insurance account. Tried to check with my bank, but the bank app was down (as were the ones of other banks too - it was a nationwide issue - it was very highly publicised in online news sites, TV news channels etc). Couldn't go in branch either because it was - yup - a bank holiday. All I could do was try to sort it out the next day when the bank was open - not a bank holiday. Had to go to work this morning. Managed to persuade my boss to let me have the afternoon off work as annual leave so I could ring One Quote Direct, and also call into my bank to find out what the issue was as I have never missed a car insurance payment. So only one day since they'd contacted me - and not even one half of a working day since they'd got in touch with me. Fair enough, right? Giving someone half a working day to get in touch. Get hold of the bank, find what the issue is, and if it was a payment that had not gone out, get onto the insurance website and sort it immediately. But...before I even left work for the afternoon today, not even lunchtime, I get an email from One Quote Direct, saying they had cancelled my car insurance with immediate effect. What??? With only one half of a working day notice??? Not even five hours of a working day. For a payment that I hadn't even had time to find out what the issue was with it? They cancel your entire year's insurance with just half a working day's notice before you can even find out what the problem is. They simply had not allowed me sufficient time to find out what was going on. No letter. No email except the one dated 1st January bank holiday day. No phone call. No text. Nothing. Cancelled an entire year's worth of insurance just like that. No apology, no assistance, nothing. Left me stranded at work with no insurance on my car, and having lost half a day's annual leave I'd asked for to try to see what was going on. I never even got time to use the leave to find out what the issue was. And if the payment turned out to be late, then it wasn't even two working days late. Seriously, how can a company even do that? Needless to say, I'll be writing a complaint to them, with a copy going to the insurance ombudsman. On the upside, my car insurance is due for renewal in three months, and over the past few weeks I've been inundated with other insurance companies offering me £200 a year less than One Quote Direct have been charging me, so I'm taking up one of their offers. So don't waste your time and money. Go elsewhere unless you want a company cancelling your insurance with just a few hours of a working day notice. Because, quite simply, as a customer, you deserve better. I deserve better. It's just a shame that it is only today that I've gone on Trustpilot and find the reviews of One Quote Direct are 92% NEGATIVE. It sums up this company completely.

Wouldn’t even give it one star! How this company is still going after now reading reviews I don’t know! My partner started his insurance up with them on the 22nd of November after two weeks received a phone call telling him he needs to provide, proof of address, log book, driving license and proof of no claims because apparently they had reason to believe he had owned this car for a longer period then he was stating? He the received an email and said if they didn’t receive the evidence by the 25th of December it would be cancelled. He gave them everything and took screenshots that he had provided this evidence to then have to ring on the 27th of December to be told it was going to be cancelled as they had only received 2 of the pieces of evidence. Absolutely disgusting customer service and the company should be ashamed! We wish we would have read reviews before taking the policy out with them as it seems like everybody is going through with this, a lesson truly learnt!

After "digital premium credit"the company they use to collect your monthly payments tried to take the monthly installment 1 day early I didnt have the money in the account to cover the installment.I tried to call them the next day but all you get is an automated payment system programed to take the missed payment plus £27.50 late payment fee. onequote then cancelled my policy 3 days later by email with no other corespondence. Like many others her I would give them a minus rating if I could. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT !!!!!!
