Please, please, please, if you are reading this do NOT use this company. Wait times are horrendous at any time of day, and you cannot get through after 17:30. £50 plus admin fees which you are not told about on the initial call. I was away on holiday when they phoned my dad to say I hadn't declared that he had points from just under 3 years ago (we both forgot after so long) and asked for £80 extra plus a £50 admin fee. My dad advised I am on holiday so will discuss this when I return in a few days- he was told 'well he won't be insured if he has an accident'. I also received a very threatening and accusations letter threatening to cancel my policy- all over three points on my named drivers policy which we both immediately owned up to, saying it was just an honest mistake. I made a complaint- staff in all depts become very rude and confrontational if you mention a complaint- believe I spoke to a "Bonika" in the complaints dept who was particularly condescending. I ended getting the ombudsmen involved who ruled in my favour- the company refuted this and for reasons never made clear to me my case was dismissed. If nothing else I learned a lesson- please do not insure with this circus, even if it means paying more.

Shocking, just shocking. If you call someone you will have to wait hours to actually speak to someone and when you get through to someone the customer service is shocking.

AVOID! Even though they probably are one of the cheap ones, it’s best to pay that little extra. I had an accident where a lorry hit me from behind, I got passed about from time to time with no real answer only to turn out that they said I was at fault. Got into touch with management and they told me I wasn’t. This was 9 months after the accident as they claimed I was not able to know the outcome until after 4 months. This lost me my NCB. Joke of a company. Always say they will ring back and never do! Hope it goes bust! ONE BIG SCAM

This is a general warning to all customers!!!!! Please do not go near this company-totally disrespectful customer service. spoke to a chap called Phil from the adjustments team, this gentleman lack 100% customer service skills, had a premium price already arranged 1 hour earlier 11am 6th feb 2019, £2800 in the process of paying and one of the call handlers accidentally cuts me off.call back 1 hour later and Phil stated the premium has gone up £1000 totally scandalous. No rapport,communication skills, I would advise everyone and anyone to stay well clear!!!!!!!!

If i could give them 0 stars i would. What an absolute mess of a company! (if you can call it that) Awful prices, disgusting customer services, 1 hour phone waiting times and they will add extra charges on anything, ANYTHING! Horrible bunch of people and cant wait to leave!

I have tried three days to get hold of my insurance company! Eventually send an e mail which they responded to two days later stating that they will call me within two hours. Needless to say that mail was end on Monday, 25 June 2018 17:47! It is now 09.10 on 2 July! Be Aware - you cannot deal with a company like this and the FCA and PRA should take note and action as this is not acceptable!

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE, £50 to change your address and then £140 to change from a 2ltr vauxhall insignia to a 1.5 renault clio, it has cost me 450 to get rid of this company, PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE SIGNING UP FOR INSURANCE, THEY ARE TRULY SHOCKING, AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE TO INSURANCE COMPANIES

My 70 year old Father was speaking to this company for his car insurance a few days back. He has many years NCB. I overheard him say "£870, thats a bit expensive" then the conversation carried on. At the end of the 20 minute conversation with them, he said "£3,000 excess?" at that point I told him to hang up. To me, trying their luck on a 70 year old is a bit too far. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. RIP-OFF MERCHANTS.

Impossible to contact by phone. Ignore emails. Threatening letters claiming I owe £150 for a cancelled policy without any explanation of how they arrived at this sum. Utter shysters.

I don't know how companies like that should be allowed scamming people! stay away from a choice, they scam people someone has to do something about to, I was insured with them for 3 months and then I sold my car so I had to cancel my policy but now they want half of the money that's left for the year!!! It's a joke please whatever you don't use them

Very poor customer service, they cancelled my insurance as said they hadn't received my documents. When I provided them with the details of the email I sent containing all thid information they had requested they simply said oh yes we've got it we just hadn't moved it over. Extremely disappointing. When I was told my insurance wouldn't be cancelled i asked for written confirmation of this, just as they had provided telling me it was cancelled, I was told that this wasn't possible and I just had to wait and call back to confirm.

went on holiday to return to find out that Premium Insurance had cancelled my motor vehicle cover. The reason they had given is that they had been unable to charge me £135 to cover the cost of removing my wife from the insurance policy. Tried to speak to Customer Service only to greeted with "you are ......23rd in the queue"....After half an hour I gave up after only moving up to 19th....!!! What a complete shower - NEVER AGAIN

The worst insurance compan I have ever been with. AVOID. Please read these reviews before even attempting to use this company for insurance. My payments started at £120 per month and some how managed to slip up to £170 after missing information. I then needed to get a new car which was a lower spec than my current and it was going to cost £200 upfront for the change and £198 per month for 10 months. You will be waiting half Your life trying to speak to these people on the phone. PLEASE AVOID

EVERYTHING WENT WRONG! I have experienced all the problems listed here by over 80% of their unhappy clients. Literally a month after taking out the insurance, they are still trying to extract extra payments for mistakes that had been made (some of these were made by them, not me too). They are the most unprofessional tin-pot company I have ever encountered in the 43 years I have purchased car insurance. The other reviews are all so true - they start off with a low price - looking like they are very reasonable and competitively priced - then just keep on adding on payments. They even cancelled my policy by letter while I was away on holiday, leaving me with a few hours to get it reinstated by paying them yet another payment they required for something they had equally made an error with! Had I been driving the car whilst on vacation, I would have been uninsured, without even knowing - and after paying the full annual amount up front. Really wish I had cancelled the policy now but when I tried (within the first 14 days 'cooling off' period) they wanted to charge a £50 fee. I questioned this, saying surely this was illegal - their response was that it was an 'admin fee', even though they hadn't even sent any letters or done anything to charge such a fee. AND - as for their so called new phone system - biggest joke ever! After 4 calls I made in one morning and being put on hold for each one for at least 20 minutes and being 15th in line to speak to anyone, they cut me off!!! DO NOT USE!!!!!

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID Hands down the worst decision I have ever made. They are a virtual company - their customer service stops at the point they extract your money. In the event of a claim, expect to be passed to a series of independent companies responsible for fragmenting your claim and over-complicating the issue. They automatically renewed my policy (I had already taken out insurance with another company as I didn't realise that they were going to renew it automatically) When I tried to cancel on the day, I gave up as I was "16TH IN THE QUEUE". I managed to get through first thing the next day and I cancelled the policy - 6 hours later, I received a "thank you for renewing" and then a further email demanding £50 "adminstration fee" for cancelling the documents they hadn't produced when I called to cancel!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - PAY AN EXTRA FEW QUID AND GO WITH A REPUTABLE COMPANY.

Lacking customer service and 30+ minute hold times no matter when you call. There were difficulties in verifying the documents for an additional driver on my account which led to them being removed and additional charges being placed on my account. After sending multiple emails trying to resolve the issue I was ignored and passed to a debt collection firm. Update: After further contact with Premium Choice and having explained my situation to John, my account has been withdrawn from the debt collection firm and the fact that better communication by both parties would've prevented this has been recognised.
