I had to make 6 phone calls before insurance was correct.

I asked about a change in my insurance details and about part of my policy for my van. The first person I spoke to was so helpful and you couldn't ask for a better person, however the second person I spoke to that they directed me to was so rude unhelpful and aragont it was unreal. So I'm sorry for the 3 star rating but that's the best I can give. The insurance company as a whole you can't fault but unfortunately it's one or two of there staff that let them down. But I would recommend them for a cover. Cheap reliable and helpful In the whole apart from the odd one or two.

I think that they are good I done my insurance through the internet with them and they email me with all my documents and then a little while after they emailed me again saying to get premium insurance or my insurance will be cancelled why do I need premium insurance for as long as I've got insurance then why do I need to get premium insurance its another why fir them to get more money out of me and im not going to get the premium insurance so if they want to cancel my insurance then they can and I will find somewhere else to get insurance but I hope they don't cancel my insurance

Just insured with principle finding it very difficult to get in touch with them over validation of my policy I have insured early before my old policy ran out it states policy will be invalid if you don’t have proof of no claims bonus within 14 days in my case my old policy does not expire for 20 days I have tried to phone on hold all the time I have e-mailed twice got no answer not impressed at this moment!

I've had 2 policies with them and with the first policy, about one year, I have never had issues. When I needed to do the second one, I spent about 30 min on the phone waiting and another 20min talking with a very stressed gentleman. I felt that I should ask less questions on the phone in order to buy a policy as the gentleman was getting very impatience. As well you don't get your paperwork straight away. So it is not convenient if you buy a car as you wouldn't have a confirmation if you are insured or not to drive back home. When i needed to cancel the policy, the following day, was no way I could get hold of anyone on the phone even after 40min. I sent an email and received an automatic email back. After a week still nothing. I have tried again with a 20 min waiting call and still nothing. Sent them another email to sales and customer service dept. Still nothing. On their website they encourage you to chat online and even showing a pic what button to press to start chatting. However that's not available on all browsers. The following day i was determined to call and wait more on the phone. Luckily someone answered after approx 15 min. The gentleman that answer said that I cannot cancel my policy sending an email. When I asked why someone is not answering on the phone then?... i had no answer back. They were fair on refunding. But to get to speak with someone it is a real adventure and time consuming.

I was told when took out the insurance I would be sent a policy in the post. Its been over a month not here yet. Please send asap. Then it would be 5stars Clive

Hi Clive! Thanks for the feedback, we are sorry to hear you are not in receipt of your documents, we can see from our records that your documents were issued by email on the 31/03/2018 at 12:09. We have now sent a duplicate copy in the post. Please allow 3-5 working days for receipt.

Not too bad overall. Cheap premium and quick to respond to emails etc. But they don't seem to be all that great at admin (updating records etc.). Thankfully haven't had to try out their claims department...!
