“Phone answered quickly by Liz who was very friendly, knowledgable and able to help me with my enquiry. She explained everything, sorted my additional cover and made the whole thing a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Principal Insurance and in particular Liz who is a credit to them.”

“The second person I spoke to was really helpful and friendly & repaired the damage done by the first who was abrupt and unhelpful. I was unhappy that my policy was auto renewed 8 days before the renewal date, especially as I had requested that it be stopped less than 24 hours previously.”

“I made a withdrawal request and didn’t receive any response for several days. Shortly after, the balance in my wallet suddenly went missing. After a week passed without any clarification, I contacted support through the email in my bio (EMAIL IN MY BIO), and they were able to help me retrieve the lost funds. Although I’m relieved the situation was resolved, the overall experience left me uneasy. It’s important for users to feel confident that their funds are secure and that any issues will be handled promptly. Strengthening the reliability and responsiveness of customer support would go a long way in building that trust.”

“They cancelled my policy without calling or informing me because they said I never signed the policy agreement with close brothers. And now I have to pay a cancellation fee for a policy that I never cancelled. I am sure that chasing the 155£ they are going to call me and mail me, but they had no time to do it all these 30 days since I started my policy with them. I think that was intentional.”

“Shocking. Paid over £850 for a motorhome policy on my way to collect it. Turned out the motorhome had issues so cancelled the policy after four days. Got charged admin fees of over £200 despite being within cooling off period. Should have read the terms. Avoid - look for a more reputable insurer with fairer terms”

“Gave a quote online, to be told to call up and pay for the quote, to then be told by Richard on the phone that the online quote is irrelevant and it'd likely be much higher due to my age. Complete scam & complete waste of time.”
