absolutely rubbish, it gives me 3 seconds to try and log in, everytime I wanted to move money, I had to phone up, 3 years iv being complaining, so now I moved my money to a better bank, worst service iv ever encountered, and nobody has bothered to sort it out,,,, what a set of dummies

Abysmal service: they decided to cancel my contents insurance without explaining why, told me to phone them, then put me through multiple choice questions before repeatedly chucking me off the system. Absolutely useless. And they send repeated letters lying about what they're going to do (we're going to cancel on x date ... and then another saying they'll cancel on another date).

Terrible!! do not use. The online banking and the mobile banking is appalling, not user friendly at all therefore very possible to miss things and make mistakes. When you call to speak to someone the automated service doesn't make any sense. When you finally get through and want to make a complaint they do everything in their power to intimidate you so you do not make a compliant (which unfortunately worked with me). They charged late fees when I set up for it to be paid off in full and then refused to give it back (this has happened to me with Tesco banking and the refunded me immediately). They don't care about you, they just want your money.

Worst experience ever. From day one they got things wrong, but then took my monthly payment okay. Last year should have been my last payment to clear the card, but I just got a notification that they have taken money on my direct debit again. I TRIED to log in but it's a revolving door of "enter your personal details" (why, you already have them all?) and after three pages of that, it says "the information is incorrect". NO it bloody isn't! I have done this four times with the same message, so I can't even see my balance. Why not just let me log in with the usual username and password etc, what is so very difficult about that?? It's driving me nuts. NEVER use them again, never.

Can't believe a recall of a bank transfer requested by me in error takes 6-8 weeks to complete!! Really?

Terrible Customer Service. Staff don't care. Don't honour their promise to help through Covid Pandemic just pile on more fees. Management just as unhelpful. Avoid.

Easy to take out a credit card but impossible to cancel it. You can only do it by phone and having called a few times, one of which I was on hold For 2hrs and 30mins before it count me off it’s just not possible to get through to anyone. Truly dreadful service. Avoid at all costs!!

Customer care is terrible. Totally not interested and can’t even be bothered to apologise. The Sainsburys credit cards frequently do not work in the chip and pin devices in the self serve check areas in Sainsbury’s stores. Meaning you not only lose points, which is the single reason I have this card for my shopping, but you have to suffer the embarrassment of everyone seeing your card being declined.

I received a useful SMS confirming my direct debit would be taken. On the day, my own bank confirm the debit has been taken. So I login to Sainsburys banking website & the old balance is still there. The website is very slow & customer services just warns of long waits. There is little incentive to retain my Sainsburys credit card.

I applied for a loan on the basis of their advertised rare of 2.8 per cent APR. When they send across the paperwork it's 5.2 per cent. Totally misleading. I'm paying back the loan straightaway.

Unable to access website in order to settle account. Hours spent trying to get through to customer service. Appallingly unhelpful customer service agents when I eventually did get to speak to someone. Unable to exercise a degree of common sense when faced with something off script.....quite frankly, the second my zero percent offer is up I will DEFINITELY be going else where and never intend on using their services again.....however until that time I'll be making sure I milk every single penny from the zero percent period ;) ...well it's the very least they can do for making me have to deal with such a useless company/staff

Nonexistent customer service, payment refused and didn't even bother to let me know. When I called the next day, I was blatantly told I am not allowed to buy the product with this card. ??????? DISGUSTING, never again am I going to bother with this excuse for a credit card company!!!!

the worst service ever! It was just a 7k loan with two persons. we started it online, then they ask me more paperwork (asked my bant details). ok. we sent it. then they said need more document.(asked my partner bant details) ok. we sent it. then they LOST this document however somebody signatured to the royal mail. ok. they ask more information via phone. ok. we did gave it. next day sent email again something wrong. ok. we called back the bank. finally they said, they asked from us wrong document but this is our fault because we sent first the document what THEY ASKED. Now they canceled the application, we lost our credit score just because somebody wasn't able to work well there. Last, Nicky the Sainsbury's bank phone operator was really unpolite, just speaking, just speaking and didn't want to hear what we said. Thank you Nicky, you are great. Now I will going to a lawer because we will need later to our credit score.

Applied for the card on the 8th. Called in on the 12th asking when I'd receive and was told to wait patiently. It's the 17th, still don't have the card or a explanation. Utterly pathetic.

Late charges because I paid my credit card early. Impossible too get through too. Please go elsewhere. Avoid at all costs

Got my card stolen from the post and Sainsburysbank REFUSES TO reimburse stolen money eventhough police gave them visual evidence of who used my card for shopping.

can't log into online banking, it gives you 5 seconds, by the time it's come up on screen, and youv read what order to type your password in, it's timed out,,,, iv reported this lots of times,,, after end of year interest, I'm leaving,,, its pathetic
