Avoid,Avoid...What an awful ,disgusting company that steel your money,was with them for 21 days.Total premium was 635 decided to cancel after their disgusting customer service ,we are at week number 8 and still awsiting our refund which i msy add is only going to be half of what we paid.

Incredible rude customer service rep called Ross . Terrible customer service . Took my emial down incorrectly and then took money without consent - won't refund. Awful company and would never recommend them.

Been with this company about 5 years never claimed and my new cost went up by £3000 so I told them o will not be using them Again and they now say I have only 1 year no claims bonus don’t trust them

Avoid! After an appalling start setting up last year, asking for more documents than who knows what for a Campervan policy. They then charged me more as my no claims was 1 month short of a full year.. almost £40 extra to change a private plate ,then I’ve just received a renewal 40% increase on last year £389 last year £981 this year! Absolute joke! Can go on same details this year as a new customer and get half the price.

Awful. Got campervan insurance and they ask for everything short of a DBS check on you. I wouldn’t mind (even though all other insurers seem to automatically get the info) but they then charge you more when you provide your proof of NCB but their bots don’t recognise it. Shockingly bad service and I’m only glad I never had to make a claim.

I have had motor insurance for over 30 years and I have to say this company is the worse insurance company broker I have ever used. £256 annual premium had to cancel after two months , £29 refund/ credit which they even charge £5 for a Bacs transfer which will take them up to 6 weeks to pay back, laughable. The service on the phone waiting time is shocking their manners and attitudes/ email replies are shocking with around 5days response to reply. Terrible company and service. The cancellation policies should be illegal!! Day light robbery.

I have never written a review good or bad about a Company before until now. Please don't use this company for your insurance, as mentioned by so many other furious customers, everything looks good and you pay their quote. Now they have your money, they spring on you the most demanding amount of info from you, some which you really have to question why they need it. I was honestly expecting a request for a blood and urine sample so you can really prove who you say you are. After finally, over a period of a couple of weeks (I reinsured 3 wks prior to my old insurance expiring) they still won't accept my proof of NCD which i received in my renewal pack from my old insurer, due to the issue date being prior to the insurance expiry date. Now I have been asked to pay more through no fault of my own and my NCD reset back to zero! Nor have they told me that my vehicle is actually not yet insured, which must be illegal of them. I only found this out by checking on MID. So I currently have no insurance on my campervan until I pay the extra for the NCD proof they won't accept. If I had read their reviews first I would have never brought through this company. AVOID.

They have a terrible attitude towards customers once you have paid your money.you need to e mail ridiculous amount of documents to them multiple times because they keep rejecting your documents to the point where you are at a loss for what to do. Its all very stressful and I am no snowflake! I'm stuck with them for now but have already decided to go with another company next year ,even if it costs me more.

Absolutely awful customer service. A low insurance quote was provided but, having paid, I was told to provide photos of my driving licence, current other vehicle insurance certificate, previous insurance schedule and to obtain a certificate of my no claims discount from my previous company. Each time I was given a certain number of days to obtain these documents and threatened that my insurance would be cancelled leaving my vehicle without cover. When I finally provided all details, the company just went quiet. It really left me with the impression Staveley Head was not acting in my interest. I dread to think how they'd behave in the event of my lodging a claim. Avoid this company at all costs. There are far better brokers out there.

Avoid at all costs! They are absolutely abysmal, demand information over and over, threaten to take more money without permission(illegal), ask for even more information and seem to have no internal communications. There is a total lack of empathy, non existent customer service, difficult systems and generally obstructive. These people are morally bereft, buy at your peril.

Customer service is an oxymoron. Takes so long to load information on the the portal which then they say it has not been loaded thats when the portal is working. Then send me an email saying Emma's licence is not approved. Problem is there is no one with that name on the policy. Uploaded proof of no cliams, asked to do it again. If I had this trouble setting up a policy I would be very worried about making a claim. So I requested a refund, was told 3-5 days by customer services, only for an email to be sent the next day stating 6 weeks for refund!

Terrible take funds when they have no business doing so store card details without your permission and use them when ever it suits for rules they make up as they go along utter rubbish and its always the same scam check out all the other 1 stars they are correct!! This is the same scam over an over. Unfortunately you cannot see the reviews till after you have made the first payment so either way they get funds and card details out of you so you have to cancel your cards ect BE WARNED!!

Absolute disgrace of a company. We got a very competitive quote so purchased the insurance. A few days later received an e mails asking for a ridiculous amount of information and photos etc that was difficult to upload. They ask if you have no claims on camper van insurance which we did not however we filled in the box to say we had 9 years no claims on our last normal car which was accepted and a quote given. They then asked for proof of no claims and refused to accept it as this policy was no longer active (obviously not as we cancelled it the same day as we took out insurance for our new vehicle which was the camper van). They then almost doubled the premium plus a £40 admin charge. We then told them to we were going to look for alternatives as their policy did not suit us. We found an excellent deal with “just campers” so rang back to cancel the policy within our 14 day cooling off period which they said would cost us £76. I will be taking this matter matter further. They mislead customers then charge for it. Daylight robbery in my opinion. Terrible company and should be investigated. Oh and they said our refund could take up to 6 weeks for the cancelled policy.

they gave ma a quote of £198 I paid then said I had to show proof of no claims bonus on motorhome insurance, I explained I had full no claims on my car but as it was my first motorhome I never had motorhome insurance. they then said the price would be £570 I said no please cancel it they then said admin charges and cancellation charges left me with a £38 refund which they never paid.

Absolutely dispicable company that keep your credit card details on record even if you pay the policy in full over the phone so they can charge you for any infractions like late paperwork even though there may be a postal strike on they will charge your credit card without informing you. STAY AWAY.

Most terrible Company to deal with. After receiving our motorhome quote which seemed very competitive, they then charged us £48 admin fee to amend the policy for claim I had forgotten to mention (a no fault claim), then another £148 as my motor car NCD does not count towards NCD for the motorhome. I will be taking this further and lodging a formal complaint. They bombard you with emails and documents to complete too. A total shambles to deal with!

Horrendous experience with Stavely Head (one sure insurance) personally I think it's a scam, you take out insurance and only then fo they tell you about obscure documents they need that no other company requires. Had 3 days of insurance that ended up costing me £155. I will be taking them to the small claims court to get it back!

Terrible company avoid Avoid avoid After taking out insurance and showing my no claims all seemed fine. Then after 6 days I was given a large list of requested documents required within 5 days or my policy would be cancelled. I would not have been able to obtain the documents in that time so cancelled the policy. After 6 days of cover I was charged £54 nearly 33 % What a terrible company, I will never use them again and would advise others to do the same. Robbers.
