If I could rate 0 stars I would. Honestly the worst insurance company I’ve ever encountered. Staff are useless and they will do everything possible to scam you out your money. I asked them to cancel my claim at the end of the year after still paying for a car that was written off. They renewed my claim without my confirmation anyway and charged me £370 to cancel a claim again that I already asked them to cancel as it had gone into new year for a car that I don’t bloody have and they know this! Absolute SCAM! Don’t put yourself through the hassle.

Do not think your equipment is as accurate as you think and very quick to penalise pull people in with cheaper insurance and double it after a month we have to rely on your reading will be paying £75 to get out of contract poor customer services

Horrible experience in all fairness and cannot wait until the year has come to an end so that I can change my providor. This is a money making provider, who cares less about the customer and their valuable business and more about how they can lure customers into signing up and then raising their premium.

Very bad service, They like to give you big fines Cancellation fee £75 for the box After you pay first instalment will charge £150

Would never use this company again, refuse to accept that their is a problem with a black box fitted in my sons car, just so they can rank up premium. I've asked for independent analysis but refused, asked for another black box to be sent, again refused, all they keep saying is nothing wrong with data. I'm also insured on the vehicle and have been a professional driver for over 35 years and still get the same data as my son, all I got back in a message is how to drive better 🤬🤬🤬🤬, I'm probably getting some 18 year old kid on the other end telling me how to drive.

I'm not one to usually complain but the service and treatment I received from WiseDriving was absolutely appalling. They canceled my insurance after only giving me one opportunity to install the black box. The next available opportunity (when their installers were next in the area) was outside of their 14 day period so guess what they cancelled my insurance with immediate effect. They are now requesting a further £150 as a cancellation fee which means I would have paid them £250 in total for literally 6 weeks cover (total cost of insurance was £650). This company is running a racket and I will be making a complaint to the FCA and contesting this, please avoid at all costs. Ps. read Google reviews as well and you will see how appalling this company is.

Terrible. You get penalised for driving at certain times at night and on certain roads. Acceleration is also an issue, with my car being a 1.4 and a 0 - 60 time of about 5 mins, the box and app, say I accelerate too fast. You are forever looking at speed signs too. I would not buy again.

I have been charged rexently extra amount and recieved no explanation. Informed you I could not afford the payment and was still charged with no other options, this is terrible customer service and you have left me in a horrible position.

Hi M A Q, If there is any change to the policy we would send you correspondence to you via email. If this change affects the price of the insurance the funding company would also send you correspondence to confirm any change to the monthly payments. Your app doesn’t work, how is it possible to keep a record with of how my driving performance is going if I can’t keep track via the app - shambles. Not only this but setting up the box itself was a nightmare - you could barely assist me and it took us overall 6 weeks to have the box sorted on your end. I wouldn’t recommend you to ANYONE, and won’t be renewing my Policy at the end of the year.

Hi James, The app is only available for our mobile app device policies. This is advised before downloading the app. Black box policyholders can access their dashboard via the "My Account" section of our website. When I changed vehicle on my insurance policy after an accident, it cost me £ 400. I will not recommend wise drive to anybody. Even the people on the phone were not of any help.

Really disappointed. I was late providing proof of no claims due to some confusion and now I am paying nearly double what I should be each month. I have tried to resolve this by email and get silence. I am cancelling my contract in the New Year.

Absolutely terrible customer service, sent out a telematic device that didn’t work and spent the next two months telling me it was my fault, issuing me with almost a letter every two weeks threatening to cancel my policy at my expense before finally accepting the box was faulty.

Avoid at all costs - Took about a month and after installing my telematics box and countless hours on the phone, emails and letters before they decided my box was faulty. I was threatened with having my insurance cancelled many times which was very worrying as they said it would cost me £75 for a cancellation fee PLUS £150 for the telematics box along with any days I had been covered for. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

My policy was cancelled due a misunderstanding on my behalf as Wise failed to inform me to call up and make a payment as I was under the impression that I was resetting up a direct debit to be taken from my account. Due to the Ambiguity in their correspondence I raised a dispute to investigate. Well, many phonecalls calling to chase up, lack of competency in basic customer service managers, a few understanding customer service agents, lots and lots of repetition and absolutely nothing has been done. AVOID at all costs, they had soo many glitches on their end in the short time that I was with them.
