I used them for a year now. Always had excellent driving score and got some money refunded for good driving. However, they are very very doggy ... Can't get human on the phone...high cost 0844 number for customer services...Very high additional fees that they are trying to get from you ... I wrote complaints several times and always got generic replies....disaster.

My year of being insured with wise driving is almost up and i will be running away as quick as possible. My premiums should have been around £70 per month. Well I have never paid this since it started. I have been paying double that every month and would not say I am a bad driver. To top it off my dash board says my driving is good every month and in the green section. What on earth are people paying that are driving 'bad' according to them because mine have doubled and my driving is good. The most ridiculous thing I have ever come across. The black box is not legit and completely biased. They just over charge you to make money and claim your driving is bad. In fact I guess its very clever what an easy way to make money. Young drivers that cant afford insurance but end up paying double that anyway! My year is almost up and I have ended up paying double what I should have. I was getting prices less then that for the year without the box. I wish i would have known!

Terrible experience.In 2 months time my monthly payments gone up twice.They want me to pay extra £600 and when i ring them and ask them to explain me the reason why my payments increased,they haven't got any reasonable explanation for it.I wouldn't trust my account details to them again,all they do is just stealing from people.

Terrible. Unnecessary charges every month with no explanation as to why I had been charged. After three months. My monthly charge of £92 was tripled to £299.53. Very hard to cancel the policy, the email on the website never worked, when phoning to cancel they would end the phone call so I could not cancel my policy. Cancelation charge was over £300 more than what was agreed.

Tells the customer that their information will sent over to black box company but never sends and than blames the customer and cancles their policy. Took the full amount but no outcome ..unsatisfactory :(

I didn't log on to check my dash board the first month because I wasn't speeding and was basically keeping with the flow of traffic. They gave me a very low score and raised my insurance by 500.00 pounds. Then I started following the tips on dash board. I had lorries tail gating, people flicking me off and still couldn't get a consistent good score. I even got a low score for ( time and place) taking the Misses to a night movie on Fridays. That's a NO NO. I spent so much time while driving looking at my dash that it was becoming dangerous. I would not recommend this to NO ONE>. I cancelled and found a insurance for less than half of what I was paying them.

Too all customers who are thinking about goin with these I urge you not too as wise driving looks too keeping your deposit for no reason this company took £800 of me then cancelled my policy for having blacked out windows on the back of the car my policy was cancelled on the 19th may then I spoke too management who was very unhelpful as they was rude as well as ignorant then the started my policy up again with out me noing just so they could keep my money then I revieved a letter tellin me that I now owe them £8000 for more car insurance which I don't no about so please be very careful about this company as there a con thanks and please take note as too what I have said as I don't want any one else too fall foul of there money grabbing games

I would advise anybody not to go with this insurance company as they rip you off they take your money and then cancelled my insurance policy due to I had blacked out windows and they then try to make me pay the cancellation fee on top as they had already took £800 pounds of nee then try to tell me they arnt giving me my deposit back and I after pay a further £300 for them to cancel it so I'm taking them to court cause in my book there a rip of insurance company and don't deserve anybody's business at all so my advice would be keep clear if you don't want ripping off and the staff are rude to you when you ring them

Do not Use this company this has caused me nothing but stress!! cancelled my insurance and they have charged me 267 pound bearing in mind i paid £135 deposit! i cancelled two months after i took out this policy due to the fact i got a new car and cheaper insurance else where DO NOT USE they are awful! Scammers

Absolutely shocking, after having troubles with my car 200 miles away from home i had to scrap my car, phoning the company explaining my situation that i was a member of the royal navy due to go on operations a couple of days for a few weeks having to scrap my car they said they can only give me 14 days to replace my car or i had to cancel my policy, no option to freeze payments untill having time to find a car. I was quoted £103 to cancel but 2 days later when i finally got rid of my car and phoned up again (that months insurance had just been paid) (£90) i was then told my new quote for canceling was £120. Waste of time talking to them on the phone as they just say they cant do any thing! Next time i will just pay the extra to go with some one els.

This company is probably one of the worst companies it has been my misfortune to deal with. Charge an absolute fortune for cancelling and their customer service is abysmal. Went with Tesco black box after these and would suggest you do the same. Now in the process of complaining to the FSO about these bunch of crooks.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! HUGE CHARGES, POOR SERVICE & MY CLAIM WAS NEVER SETTLED!! After the first month of having my black box installed and in my mind; driving sensibly, I received an e-mail to tell me I have to pay £700 with in 7 days or debt collectors would be knocking at my door and my policy would be cancelled. This was extremely distressing for a 17 year old but they were no help to say the least. I am now having difficultly cancelling my policy, I will be revealed when I can finally have nothing more to do with this horrific company .
