DO NOT USE!!! Absolutely terrible company complete and utter scam the whole thing! Firstly they didn't turn up to a box fitting for no other reason that they didn't forward the date and time on to the technician (so there fault) then they told me that they couldn't insure my car which supposedly had a "full st body kit" (didn't it was fully standard) also that kit doesn't even exist for my car year!!!! And then I tried cancelling within 14 days I got £12 out of my £200 deposit back! Also don't even mention there call centers they put you on hold for 20 minutes at a time and then you ask them a question when they finally answer and they don't know the answer so they put you on hold again!! I think I had 4 phones calls with them and £32 had been added to my phone bills just because of them! Honestly never never never use this company!!!

I'm horrified! 4 great months & suddenly I'm slapped with an increase in policy. This is a scam! Steer clear!!!

I thought I got so lucky having found an insurance so cheap in my second year of driving. Please do not be fooled and made the same mistake I did. Literally the worst company I have ever come across. Wasn't able to book an appointment that suited me for the box to be fitted to my car and after having an employee tell me he would get me an extension and not getting back to me when he said he would.. They then proceeded to cancel my policy. Everybody I spoke to was unprofessional and lacking customer skills. I wad told different things every time I rang. I then had the idea to cancel the policy myself, I was told it would be cancelled the day I asked and that the cancellation fee and the fee for the month I had the insurance would come out of my deposit. I then had a letter come through informing me that the policy had been cancelled the DAY I rang not the DAY I had asked for - which could have put me in a lot of danger/trouble if I had been driving my car having thought it would have been cancelled on the day I asked - and then I had a monthly fee come out of my account which I had been told would have COME OUT OF MY DEPOSIT. Do not take your business here. I will be making a formal complaint as I am absolutely shocked and disgusted at this company

Terrible company. My insurance policy was cancelled 6 months in to the agreement through no fault of my own! Took 3 hours on the phone and 48 hours for the policy to be re-instated (after they told me I would need to pay a £100 cancellation fee - for a cancellation I never instructed them to do) Tried to pay my next installment today and surprise surprise more problems, the company the credit agreement is with are now telling me that the agreement was cancelled by wise driving in august! I would recommend to anyone thinking of using this company not too. Absolute joke!

Awful!!!!! Changed my direct debit on there own accord! Then tried to say I did it. Then cancelled my policy and said I had to pay the £120 cancelation fee! Customer service is awful! Bunch of cunts the lot of them.

absolute scam, No communication on e-mail. AFTER 2 MONTHS MY PRENIUM increased 600 pounds AVOIDDDDDDDD>!!!

I am a customer of Wise Driving (First car etc) so expected my insurance to be high anyway which is why I opted for the Black Box idea. Wisedriving told me I needed to select a date when I would be available to have it fitted (within 2 weeks) When I called them to try and follow it up as there had been no confirmation of fitting, I was told they couldn't do it that day but they'll be in touch. Low and behold, nobody had been in touch, yet I had a letter to say they would be cancelling my policy as I had breached the T&C's by not having the box fitted!! I then spent almost 40mins on hold being passed between them, which then meant that the person who "I had to speak to had gone home" AWFUL. Every month they send you letters threatening to cancel your policy and hold you responsible, even when I asked to change the date money came out due to changing jobs they will charge you for it (to even APPLY to have the date changed you will be charged) whether they change the date or not. I feel they target the young drivers as they know about insurance etc. I WILL NEVER EVER RENEW WITH THEM! I want to pay them in full just to stop the harrassment.

If I could Wise Driving minus !00% I would - rip off company. Reporting them to Trading Standards and the Financial Ombudsman - hope they are closed down. We should all sign a Petition!!!!

Wisedriving will take any opportunity to take your money , unexpected charges , poor customer service team and be prepared to be put on hold for a long time with high line rate charges. Absolutley awful insurance company!

My son has had nothing but lies and problems with this so called company should not be allowed to be trading giving out false information to young drivers different charges each month going up an up needs to be looked into shocking scammig money takers off of ypung people should be closed and looked into trading standaards here we come I think every one shld do the same if ther is any young first time divers who have found a cheap insurer would be gratefull for any help as my son needs a new genuine policy without all the crap like this company are all about aviod scammers crooks fraudsters

This company is an absolute scam. My Son took his insurance with them in June for £1400 2 months later they increase it to £3300.00, charged £120.00 to cancel the policy. Watch out you can't drive between 9pm and 5am but it doesn't say this on their website. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY DESERVE TO BE CLOSED DOWN. We are reporting them!!!

No phone answers, advisors have no idea what is the company`s policy, they put you on hold for 20 minutes and never call you back. No communication on e-mail. Horrible company. Never buy an insurance again/.

First 3 months were good but recieved a letter saying they're cancelling my policy for no reason whatsoever and I have to pay £120 cancellation fee. Rang up and they are adament that they are cancelling my policy. Absolutely rediculous, wish I had read the reviews beforehand. If i could give 0 stars I would.

Disgusting company! Cancelled my policy yesterday with the reason that they needed a copy of my v5 which they took when the box was installed. This is the 2nd time they've cancelled my policy amongst all the other charges here and there which haven't really been explained. Safe to say I didn't take up another policy with them!! Avoid this company at all costs!!!!!!

If your looking for a company who you wish to pay in full (£1100) to then be charged an extra £1200 3 months later then look no further! This is the insurance company for you! As you can guess I was not impressed...

BEEN CHARGED £85 FOR CANCELLING A POLICY WHICH HAS ALREADY ENDED. WISE DRIVING TRIED TO TAKE THE MONEY FOR ANOTHER YEARS INSURANCE OUT OF MY DIRECT DEBIT WITHOUT MY CONFIRMATION. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT ANYONE. I AM INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY.

In one word: atrocious Seemed good when i initially applied, but less than 2 weeks in was told that the person who fitted the box didn't upload my information and documents to the system, and had LOST them, and was told that they would cancel my policy with no refund (bearing in mind that i had paid the year upfront) unless i sent them the documents again. The "time and place" system is ridiculous as well, their explanation is "most accidents happen between 7pm and 7am" so they bring your score down for driving during those hours, which, for anybody who works normal hours, this is the time when the car is in most use. in short, i would recommend everybody to avoid this. yes, they are cheap on the comparison websites, but there are so many hidden snares and costs, that it ends up being one of the most expensive.

Wisedriving is a disgrace and Compare the Market/ confused.com shouldn't be peddling their scam. We've had the car for 2 months- one of which it was on the drive because my son had a broken leg- he's been asked to pay an extra premium of £1600 for 1 month's driving!!!! Should be illegal--DO NOT USE THIS SCAM COMPANY
