Received a email to state my policy was being cancelled as I forgot to update a price comparison site ( can’t argue that was a oversite on my part) contacted them to see if we could resolve the issue, the advisor was to busy giggling with a colleague then dealin with me she then stated I had to pay £75 cancellation fee and they would keep keep my £180 deposit so that works out this company has made £255 out of me for 13days if cover! Scammers hiding in plain daylight! Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone I will calling back in the morning, and feel sorry for who ever gets this raging hormonal 8 month pregnant women’s call!!

Good nothing special although I keep getting emails saying I could get money back because I’ve drove well and then none of the links work and I never hear back on how to get this money

When starting a policy with wise driving they ask that when the engineer comes to install your black box he takes a picture of your V5 and your no claims certificates. Once the engineer has done this either they do nothing with it or wise driving lose this but either way they contact you saying they have not received it so will be putting your insurance up. When you contact them to inform them you gave it to the engineer as per their request they have absolutely no interest in trying to find out what's happened to the copies the engineer took which under the new GDPR is quite a big breach and then wise driving tell you that you have to contact the company that fit the black box to find out what's happened to your personal data, so because of wise driving incompetence you have to spend the next couple of weeks unsure how much you are going to be paying as wise driving have no clue what's going on. Wise driving customer service is so poor that I am currently looking for a new insurance provider and am also looking into filing a claim for breaching GDPR laws

Phantom charges left, right and centre! £45 for a change of date for black box installation! Not happy with the customer service telephony assistant was not interested at all avoid at all costs! Don't waste your time folks.

Renewing my policy needed me to call for an hour a day for 3 weeks, and even then was sent constant emails and saying my insurance would be cancelled, even though I was being told over the phone to ignore the emails. If you can afford to go elsewhere, do.

The worst insurance ever of my 21 yrs of driving. They 're the biggest scammers. Pls read your cancellation policy b4 getting this insurance or please don't even buy it. It's safer not 2 buy.

AVOID. Had black box fitted (have never had a problem before) continue to charge me huge amounts such as £700 but would not come and review my box as I knew this was incorrect. When calling them they would continuously make excuses.. however when cancelling the policy that was the only guy I had spoke to that was nice!

black box, the 'engineer' was a completely rude, disgusting, and out of his head. Thought my alloys were not original but they were, and told me the rear windows were tinted when its BMWs own privacy glass which is an extra! Therefore deemed my car to have a modification and so cancelled it straight away. On top of that they charged the £150 black box fee, £75 cancellation fee and the remaining balance too! Rude customer advisor and every time there is a massive wait. Be wise and go somewhere else!

I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. The insurance may be cheap, but they hit you with additional costs every step of the way. I bought a Golf from a dealer on Friday, to drive it home I obviously needed insurance and decided to go with WiseDriving. I paid my deposit and picked up the car. By Sunday, the car needed to go back as I found it was faulty, so I called up WiseDriving today to change the policy to a different car. Having already ran a quote on their own website for the new car, I knew it should be about 10 pounds a month cheaper and the deposit was about 30 pounds less. (Going through a comparison website I got a quote for 20 pounds a month cheaper and 40 pounds cheaper on the deposit, still through WiseDriving!) Bearing in mind that I had only been a customer for four days, I thought this would be straight forward affair. Apparently not! WiseDriving cannot recalculate premiums if you change your car. They can change the car (of course for a fee; £23), but your premiums stay the same. After stating how absurd this was (Let me just go and buy a Ferrari that I'll get insured on then... I'll pay the £23 changing car charge) I worked out it would actually be cheaper to cancel the policy (There goes another £75 for a cancellation fee, even if you are in your first 14 (or 4) days with them!) and buy the new policy through the comparison website. (Which I won't be doing). Essentially, they wanted to charge me an extra £150 for the year! (£10 p/month + £30 deposit) Finally, if you do decide to cancel for whatever reason, don't expect your deposit back any time soon. It takes two weeks to be "processed" and a further week for the money to be paid into your account.

I have tried calling and emailing but they do not answer or if they do it’s someone that is very confusing that doesn’t understand what I’m talking about. The black box says I’m a 51 out of 100 driver and I have reason to believe it’s not working correctly but guess what... I can’t contact them and there’s nothing I can do. Guess this is their way of rising the monthly cost for young drivers like me!!

Customer service is below expected standards, staff members have a terrible attitude and as a customer i have had a stressful dealing. Emailing is the primary way of communication, however when you are promised a call back for the 7th time, you would expect it.

WARNING !!! This insurance company is a total con ! Your monthly payments will start low and after 2 months will triple and never go down ! My son went from paying £120 to over £300 a month ! The black box they fit is very basic and dose not dive you detailed information like other black boxes ! My son is a very sensible driver and hardly uses his car so they are just taking his money ! Cancellation fees are daylight robbery will cost you over £500 to cancel your insurance I warn and beg you not to sign up to this company they need to be on watchdog and I’m reporting them to the insurance authorities Be warned!!!

The worst customer service experience. Went round in circles for over an hour because they emailed to say my policy is being cancelled due to “undisclosed information” when both my claims were disclosed I just got the dates a little bit wrong. This was after they had taken £150 for installing a black box - something that 100% should’ve been checked before installation if it was that important. Managers in the call centre were absolutely no help and complains apparently take 8 weeks to resolve. Joke of a company DO NOT INSURE WITH THEM DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR

Had some difficulties at the start I wasn’t happy, but since I’ve sorted it and everything is all okay. I’m pretty amazed. Considering the bad reviews I have read they aren’t really THAT bad! They sorted out my years no claim that I didn’t put on straight away and they were very quick to responding to my emails. Don’t believe everything you read. They are pretty good to be honest.
