Requesting a refund ASAP Still waiting on a phone I ordered on the 13th of September for my son's birthday on the 20th which stated it wud arrive max the 19th & here I am still waiting on the the 27th. After getting no response on other platforms I doubt very much I'll get 1 here either as it seems 2 b only good reviews get a response :( Avoid buying for this company I've had nothing but problem & very disappointed boy

Not sure if GetTech are still in business???? I have been trying to contact them for over 2 weeks now. Sent multiple emails and called...... no response. Very Poor service!!!

I sold my phone to them through an post. I got email that they received it and offered me lower price but I agreed. Nothing wrong with it. Till payment. Got another email that they experience problem with transfers and offered PayPal payment which I agreed . Since then , over a month now, after trying to ring them and good few emails , NO RESPONSE.

Hi, I have tried contacting you by telephone in last few days, (I made loads of calls) I sent two emails and have heard nothing back. That kind of service is very disappointing, after I read the great reviews you got. I will have to go elsewhere to purchase my phone.

I sent my refurbished phone back for repair as it was under warranty. Customer service was very prompt and helpful initially but when my phone was returned with the same issues and hadn’t been fixed, I tried to contact GetTech by phone, email, DM’d on instagram and there has been no communication from them. It has been 10 days. Phone is under warranty until Feb. 2024. Very disappointing service, I wouldn’t purchase from them again.

As I needed money to cover some expenses I decided to part with my iPhone. I sent it to that sad company, unfortunately. They send me an email saying : Thank you for sending us your device. For devices over €400, we require proof of purchase, as standard. If you could provide any proof you may have, it would be appreciated. (i.e Picture of physical or electronic receipt). We appreciate in certain circumstances, you may not be able to provide this, If this is the case, please send us a proof of ID. In the email saying we may not be able to provide the receipt and you can send proof of ID instead. If you try to reply to that email you get a reply back that the email doesn't exist. I contacted them on WhatsApp and they said we want both proof of receipt and proof of ID. I told them I got the phone with a pay monthly some time ago and the mobile operators don't provide a receipt when it's 0 upfront cost only the contract mobile agreement. I sent them that and my passport photo. They rejected the documents and accused me that I may not have paid it off. I'll check legal actions for defamation and also for breach of promise and for wasting my time at a time when I needed to pay off important expenses. Don't waste your time with these single-cell organisms, go to swappie.com they pay more.

AVOID - Bought a phone at great expense broken within weeks. Replaced by another faulty phone technicians unable to find problem but charged me €€for repair prior to issuing refund to me because reportedly phone ‘bent’ despite being in a case since day I received it and not dropped. Phone not kept in my pocket or repeatedly taken in and out of a case so I can only assume it somehow magically changed shape as the explanations offered to me make no sense in the context of how the phone was used in the few weeks I had it in my possession. Reported ‘best’ offer was suggesting I keep the faulty phone - they literally couldn’t fix the original reason it was returned despite the phone cutting out on me repeatedly over days. But to sweeten the deal they informed me that if I took back the not fixed faulty phone as a bonus I would get to waive my rights to any further warranty!! Not sure how to square that circle. Surely if I had been sold a proper item in full working order then there would be no need to waive any warranty? Seems decidedly odd… but what would I know I am only a customer who bought a product in good faith but has been left out of pocket, time and patience. Terrible experience.

Hi Sally, Thanks for taking the time to write your review. We are sorry to hear you feel this way. We'd be happy to shine some light on this. You purchased your device in late 2022 and mentioned you experienced an issue with it. Although our technicians could not find a problem with the device we replaced the phone for you under warranty for ease of mind. This month you brought the device back to us mentioning a similar issue to the first return. After running extensive tests we could not replicate this issue again on this device but we did find a fault with the NFC. Unfortunately we found the phone was bent - which explained the NFC issue. A bend in the device does qualify as physical damage and can happen from pressure applied to the device while in pockets or from putting it in/removing it from its case and other things like that where force can be applied. Our items go through several quality checks to ensure our devices are in their best shape going the the customer. Please see the photo here showing the device is not bent prior to shipment: https://ibb.co/rkZBQLs To meet in the middle while being fair to everyone, we offered a refund minus the repair cost or else repair the device and give it back with no warranty moving forward. We have testing reports showing the device in full working order prior to shipment. Of course, issues can arise which is why we have our warranties in place. Sadly, this does not include physical or liquid damage or third party tampering. We value our customers and we are terribly sorry we couldn't come to a better agreement here. Awful experience with GetTech. Would not recommend. Got two iPhones in the space of 6 months, both were faulty. The replacement iPhone 11 Pro I received had a faulty battery, the manager said they can’t replace it as I had gone past the 6months warranty (by 4days). Avoid Get Tech

Hi Katie, Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear about your experience with us. Our customer service manager has since remedied this for you. Please note our batteries have this warranty in place as the life of a battery depends on the usage and charge patterns of the device. We run multiple tests and have testing records proving the device was 100% functional upon shipment. We replaced your device for you under warranty when you initially returned it to us back in May. We will always do our very best to look after our customers I can assure you. I am sorry if you misinterpreted the conversation over the phone. We offered to take the device back to take a look at the issue occurring and we said we would do our very best for you regarding the battery as it was out of warranty but only by a few days. We mentioned it was important to take it back first to run tests and then we would accommodate you as best as we can. I'm glad we could resolve this for you and that we were able to replace the phone and battery as a goodwill gesture. Again, we are truly sorry for any grievance this has caused. I bought a phone through the website over a week ago, Thursday the 11 August. The money has left my account, not a small amount. Other than 2 automated emails confirming the purchase, I still have no indication of when the phone will be arriving. I expected that I would have it over a week ago. The only contact I have had with GetTeck was when I called them trying to find out what was going on. At that point a customer rep asked me if I would accept a different colour phone and different memory (from 256 to 128). This leads me to believe that GetTeck never had this phone to sell in the first place. The fact that this phone is still on your website for sale, same colour with 256G, worries me these guys are selling phones they don’t actually physically have. I’m hoping somebody will call me and explain what is going on and how they are going to fix this mess. Or give me a full refund straight away.

Hi Matt, This is Rue, I have just been on a call with you! Thank you for taking the time to chat with me. I apologise sincerely, on behalf of the team, for the experience you have had. As explained on our call, we did have the model in stock at the time of sale. We run final quality control tests on each device immediately prior to dispatch, and unfortunately, the device in question failed these tests. This meant we could not, rightfully, ship the device to you. At that point, the inventory team was working on processing another model for you, still within our processing time. I can confirm that the model is marked out of stock on our website and cannot be purchased - this was done as soon as the model failed testing. When you called us, an agent spoke to you and explained the situation and that we were trying to source another model for you. They asked if you would be willing to take another colour or memory size, should it come to it. I apologise that we weren't the first to reach out to you, it was not our intention to have you chase the order - you had been on our call/email queue for an update on that day. Unfortunately, we have not been able to secure a model for you thus far and, as confirmed on our call, I have requested that the accounts team refund your order immediately. It is never an issue for an order to be refunded prior to dispatch, for any reason - I can assure you that the team is processing this for you right now. Again, please accept our sincere apologies for this experience. This is not the service we normally offer or the standard that we aim for. Get tech are the worst coming ive ever delt with telling lies selling faulty products will not return product when taken back after they damaging them i also baught an iphone that never worked right the screen was gammy there a waste of time , space and money

I have attached several photos of the returned Airpods here: https://ibb.co/album/mJLkJj As you can see, the device is in a terribly worn down condition and has been physically damaged, in the form of burns on one of the buds. We have CCTV footage showing that your brought them in this state, and were not damaged this way by any of our staff. You placed the order in September 2021, and received a 12-month warranty. Several months later, in November, you returned them due to poor quality of sound. We found that the AirPods had been so caked in dirt that the sound coming from them was significantly dampened - there were no faults found other than dirt packed into the buds. As a goodwill gesture, we replaced them for you as we try our best for each and every customer. You reached out to us again in May, looking to receive a replacement, and stating that the quality was bad again. We advised that we would be more than happy to replace them for you if there was a fault present. You returned them to us in June, in a damaged condition, and requesting a refund this time. Due to the fact that they had come to damage of this kind, we advised that your warranty was voided and a refund or replacement would not be possible. We can appreciate that this was not your desired outcome, however, we cannot cover the cost of items that were damaged while in your care. I apologise that we could not come to a resolution that you were satisfied with. If you'd like to get in touch with us about the other device you mentioned, we'd be more than happy to help. I was disappointed with the length of time it took to get the phone I ordered before Christmas. I received it 23rd December. Disappointed again when phone did not work properly sent it back and still have not got a replacement. Not a happy customer.

This has been the worst service ever. Phones keep breaking after a few days. Will be sending back my fourth phone in 4 months today. Total time waste. I am absolutely disgusted. I currently have no electricity with the storm and I am now left home alone without a phone also after receiving a replacement phone only TWO days ago. The whole return & replacement scheme would be great if they sent you a working phone but every single time there has been an issue with the phone. Phones are not one bit reliable.

Recently purchased an iPhone 10, the product was as described. I tried to use the 15% discount advertised on the website but I couldn't be applied, I went ahead with the purchase as the discount code was only valid for the weekend. I contacted GetTech on the next day about getting the discount applied and was offered €15 instead of the discount of €60. I was supposed to receive the discount a week ago and am still waiting.

I would like to note that the discount code that weekend was for 15 euro off - not for 15%. We have never offered percentage discounts. The agent working on your case informed you of this at the time of your query. The agent then offered to partially refund your purchase by €15, retroactively. We do not usually do this for customers, however, we made an exception in your case. The accounts department has confirmed with me that the refund has been processed on our end and should back into the same account used to make the purchase. Hi Eoghan, As you explained to our agent, the wifi signal disconnects when you move to a certain part of your home, and that this also happens to your friend who has a different device. This would point to the conclusion that the issue is related to your WiFi router, rather than our product. As you have since failed to respond to our calls and emails, we can only conclude that this issue has been resolved for you.
