I rate the overall experience 3/10. Some of the main reasons listed below: - On both days, the course started 40 minutes after it was supposed to, due to technical problems which some persisted throughout the course causing disturbances - The instructor asked us if we can arrive 30 minutes earlier on Tuesday as he needed to catch a flight immediately after. Very unprofessional. - As a result, there was a general sense of rush to get on with the course and with any questions - The course wasn’t as interactive as it was supposed to be. This is the only advantage of physically being in a classroom - On several pages of our lab exercises, there was watermark text covering the actual lab exercise text, making it hard to read - Some lab exercise diagrams were vertically placed on the document making them unreadable. We could only open the exercises with a specific PDF viewer as they were protected which didn’t include a rotate function

The organisation was very good and flexible leading up to the course. The course itself was very good and pitched at the right level. Barry was very engaging and knowledgeable, and gave us a lot of useful information. I liked the fact that it was very open, with everyone able to contribute, share experiences, and offer ideas. It was easy to speak up and we were encouraged to do so, and this worked very well.

I was absolutely livid to learn on the first day of the course that the course was virtual and I was not informed of it. We have booked this course through GlobalKnowledge company, as it's a set up and approved training supplier at Greencore. I have specifically stated that I want to do the course in London and the class should be instructor led. I was told that no courses are running in London in 2016 and one will be delivered in Stockport instead. When I got to the classroom on Monday morning, I learned that the course is actually running in London, and I will be sat in the room by myself all week! To make matters worse, another delegate was sat on his own in Nottingham training centre, which was only 25 minutes from my house, rather than a 2 hrs drive to Stockport! I am extremely disappointed about how this was all set up by Arrow/GlobalKnowledge, and the poor communication I have received from both companies. The course was due to start on the 24th of October and I only got a confirmation that I am definitely on it few days before (as the company reserves the right to cancel if not enough delegates are in the course). I had to contact GlobalKnowledge numerous times before the course start date and chase for joining instructions from them. If the course is led by Arrow, I don’t understand why Arrow can’t communicate with the delegates directly and keep them up to date with all the course details. Because of such poor administration and communication, I feel that the overall course experience was really ruined for me. I was really stressed to find out on Monday that I will be sat on my own in the room all week. I took the initiative to come and join another delegate in Nottingham on Tuesday, meaning an unnecessary 4-5hrs drive on Monday to/from Stockport. I still don’t think that virtual experience was as good as classroom based learning. The delegate in London didn’t have a microphone so we could hear what she was questions/comments she was making to the instructor, although Tarn has made an effort to repeat her the questions a lot of the times. Happy with course content, but very disappointed with overall experience. Attended a Comptia A+ (acelerated) organised by my employer - The room was too small -and we were cramped on a table with hardly any room to write notes as there was little space between myself and the next guy. The laptops were never user and no lab work was undertaken as promised prior by my employer and GK.The week was spent just sat round the table while the trainer did his best to skim through a huge book on 901 - We hit mid week and 902 was rushed. The trainer tried his best to show things off his laptop onto the display -but those further away including myself could hardly see anything on the display -The trainer seemed to know his stuff but was under that must time pressure had to rush through everything I came away no wiser having had no time to consolidate or do any of the lab work etc -If it was about readin a book I could have done it at home or on the web. And to add insult to injury my employer has told me i need to sit the exam within 2 weeks - THIS IS BULLYING and any training division should advise cooperations to not book exams for trainees in this manner Dissapointed

Work on enhancing the virtual trainings because the tool in-use is terrible. The audio recording cuts by 50% of the time.

As usual Tony engages the audience very well. Using new technology that we were piloting was also incorporated well into the session. We got excellent feedback with 100% agreeing they would recommend to a friend!

The scope of he training was not clear. The audience needed other kind of training, more focused in architecture, Vodafone solution...rather than configuring the system.
