Not really you have lot insurance companies which are not based in UK but they are but can be nasty once you taken insurance and paid deposit

Your site seemed to work OK but the coop eco insurance quote I chose was based on the wrong details regarding the anual milage I didn't find this out until they sent me some information about it that was unavailable to view after moving back through the email. I then emailed them with my query but after two days had no reply I couldn't call them on Sunday as their office is closed so I had to wait until Monday to call and inform them of their mistake. They then informed me it would cost me a further £27 something pence to put it right. Yes charging me to put their mistake right. Well that put the cost over what I was allready paying with my renewal quote so I asked for a cancellation and full refund which they said was no problem as the insurance wasn't due to start for a few weeks. But all in all the whole exercise has taken up approx one and a half days of my time and caused me a lot of stress, to be honest I don't think I'll ever be doing it again.

The Webiste refused to accept my recent password and locked me out So I couldn’t print off documents The website was extremely easy to use, and the selection of quotes, better than I had hoped for - I went for a slightly higher premium with a lower excess. Will use it again no problem

Gocompare has not made me happy. Yes they have found me a cheap quote, but after 2 days the company asked for details of non fault incidents, One of which did not happen and one I do not have the details of. And threatening to double the premium. This sort of company seams to be cheap but then find ways in increase the premium.

Better than some other comparison sites, but not cheaper than going to identified, competitive insurers directly. Mixed feelings about Go Compare.

Not happy that you can't speak to an agent anymore unless you pay an extra £12.00 I find it more professional and secure that all is correct.

At the start of this week you were promoting, for house insurance, Halifax at £102 odd and a few days later you were promoting another company at £114 odd as the Best Buy. ???

Insurers use real time pricing, which means that prices are only guaranteed at the time of the quote. It’s very likely that your quotes will change if you return to buy later. Therefore the quote from Halifax would have been the best buy at the time, however when you have returned the prices have unfortunately changed resulting in the best buy also changing. I was looking for car insurance and my preference is to be dealing with the policy cover insurance company directly rather than via a broker. Unfortunately this comparison site seems to give priority to brokers and where insurance companies appeared in the comparison list have come up with much higher premiums than what actually quote if one goes directly to them. My preference to avoid brokers is due to bad experience in the past in terms of wasting almost endless time when I needed them for claim support and was passed inefficiently from pillar to post.

You could improve. When a customer tries to retrieve the quotes, all you do is put up the cheapest quote, whereas the customer does not always want the cheapest, as was my requirement. This makes it difficult to get back to the quote that interests the customer. Put up the cheapest four or five in future.

The site was easy to use with the quotes laid out in an easy to understand manner. Unfortunately when I went to the provider despite having answered all the questions and having the quotes displayed, the provider then informed me that basesd on the information supplied, they would be unable to provide cover. Very frustrating.

It is relatively easy to complete the information required when seeking to obtain quotes but the details required, or options when asked are not all available. This can prove to be frustrating and in reality it is easier to call the company you choose before ticking the boxes online.

When I selected an insurer only then did I realise quote didn't include IPT which added £16 to quote. I sent a complaint Gocompare but no reply todate.
