Takes weeks to ship items out and they deceivingly do not warn you that you won't receive your products in time for holidays, but also don't give you your money back either. “Placed an order on November 30th and it is now December 14th. Just got notice that my order is ready to be shipped. What!? Why does it take more than two weeks to ship? These were to be gifts for my hairdresser, etc. but I had to go buy other things as these were not to me in time. And I don’t even know if the candles are good or not yet.”
“Play some order on November 30 it’s not December 14 and has not even shipped. It happens all the time with them, these candles will not arrive for Christmas, or the shipping for two Christmases from now. When you reach out to them, they give you some sappy story every time from their family owned business to they can’t handle all of their orders. And you can’t cancel your order. They will not arrive by the holidays and now I have Christmas theme candles past Christmas.”
“Just placed my first order with them so cannot comment on the candles but wanted to drop a line to say that I was charged an expedited shipping fee on top of the regular shipping fee with no way to remove it. Have contacted the online help resources but have yet to hear back, will have to update. Also after filling out the first customer support form that was included with their “thanks for your purchase” text I received another text saying that website is no longer monitored which directed me to another customer form to fill out. Not sure who is running the show with them but pretty dang frustrating!! The expedited shipping fee was only $2.95 but still irritating to know that they are squeezing every last cent out of customers when probably not necessary and definitely not asked for!”
“Ordered 9 candles, plus plug in and the plug in unit. ALL 9 CANDLES WERE THE WRONG SCENTS AND NEVER RECEIVED PLUG IN NOR THE UNIT. IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH ANYONE TO RECTIFY THIS MATTER. I GUESS I JUST ATE 95 BUCKS!”

“I bought several candles and 2 plugins. I have one plug in that's in the living room right across from where I sit in the living room and I can not smell anything, same with the bedroom. I burnt one of the candles & it has no smell None of them have any smell whatsoever, I mean, they smell fine when you take the lid off, but when I lit a candle..I can't smell anything. I'm really, really disappointed . I used to love Goose Creek candles! Needless to say I will not be buying anymore!”

“Probably spent thousands on candles from Goosecreek over the years, and just like everywhere else, they like to stiff their longtime customers. Started by getting rid of the large jar candles and now you're stuck with the small ones that are even more expensive. They took away the point system, which is bs because it wasn't even that rewarding, but atleast something. They also advertise as though you're getting a deal such as buy x amount for only this much, when in reality, it always ends up being the same regardless, like people are too dumb to realize. It's a shame, but if you like the scent of maple, go to TJ Maxx and look for Village candle large jars for only around $10. Usually buy them out when I see them, they are just as good, if not better! Crossroad, cheerful giver, black crow, and village are the best bang for the buck!”
“My husband and I ordered several candles from Goose Creek. I cancelled one order and they shipped it anyway and charged my credit card not once but twice. Even though I had proof beyond a reasonable doubt I cancelled and that they charged me twice for the same order they refused to do anything about it.”
“I ordered cinnamon pumpkin candle ,and start burning good then after awhile it's barely burning. Hardly has any scent aroma at all. Other then that my other candles I have ordered in the past was no problem. This candle disappointed me.”
“I have been ordering Goose Creek candles for many years and they are so fragrant, loved them all. However I recently received my last order of candles and they are not nearly as fragrant. What has changed? This makes me so sad because I have always loved having them burn in my home. Now I’m afraid to order more because of the lack of fragrance.”
“So I bought the cotton candy perfume from this service and it smells alright but the ingredients have left a disgusting residue on my clothes and skin when I’ve sprayed it on myself I really don’t recommend at all sorry but I shouldn’t have gross sticky residue on me I had to change clothes before I left the house and use something different”
“I purchased six candles. They were being sent to my old address. The website said if you want to cancel you have to do it by filling out a form. I filled out the form. My purchase was still pushed through. There’s a number you can text but no one answers. I paid $50 to have the delivery address changed and just got a message my order is still going to the wrong address. So I’m out $170. Never ever again. Your customer service is insufficient.”
