I've given 2 stars for the product range, good prices and friendly customer service staff who I've had plenty of email correspondence with. Unfortunately, the two orders I placed before Christmas have still not arrived at nearly the end of January, even though I have repeatedly been told they will arrive in 'the next few days.' No tracking provided. Not sure they were ever dispatched.

Fine unless you accidentally order wrong item and then no response at all from customer service about returns

Their service was slow. There was not any update regarding my order, so I coukd know when to roughly expect my order. The items I bought are great, though!

Item showing in stock , order confirmed then nothing . I phoned & was told to expect it the following day . nothing . I then received an email saying you?d ?made a boo boo? .... there was an issue with the item leaving the warehouse. I checked stock availability. Item showing out of stock . I waited a few days , item back in stock so I left a voicemail . The next day I received an email to say the item had been despatched . I received a battered box in a folded Jiffy bag a few days later . I have never had the postage refunded as promised , albeit 50p . The product itself is outstanding....

Confused why I paid for 48 hour delivery and it arrived 96 hours later. The box also wasn?t wrap sealed so maybe a return? Works ok but would be wary of using them again if honest.

Very slow service, no one is available to talk to answer the question. Started using chat room on Friday receive reply on Tuesday. When it say chats are available anytime

My first order still hadn't arrived a month after I'd been charged for it. Fair enough, the items were out of stock and I was given a prompt refund. My second order was in stock but it still took ages to arrive, and was only dispatched when I emailed to check if it was lost in the post. Sorry, won't be using this site again despite low prices. Would rather pay more for reliable delivery

Speedy dispatch, good prices but let down by poor packaging (packaging was torn open and shampoo had spilled out). Poor customer service afterwards. Offering a discount for future orders isnt helpful - I doubt I will shop with them again.

Boxed was damaged in transit, presentation therefore wasnt great especially as it was a gift therefore wasnt really happy with it. More attention could have been paid to packagaing

I ordered three items, only two arrived and no explanation as to where the third item was. Tried to phone them but to no avail, so in the end I left two e-mail messages. They did reply but not as quickly as I'd hoped. Apparently there should have been a note inside the box explaining about the third item but nothing!! The third item was sent out a few days later, along with a 10% reduction the next time I ordered. It wasn't a very, shall we say smooth first time experience dealing with Gooseberry, which is a shame really.

I specifically wanted 2 x 500ml with pumps but got sent 4 x 250ml with no pumps. There was no correspondence telling me they didn't have the exact items I had ordered and there was nothing inside the parcel

Placed my order on 11th April, products were the cheapest I could find on any website, I was a little dubious as I had never heard of the website before but I took a chance and placed the order, I paid additional delivery cost to get tracked delivery within 2 days, it still hadn't arrived by the 19th April (they had taken payment on the 11th though) and the order wasn't even showing as dispatched on their website. Having heard nothing from them I contacted them to be told that some items were damaged in the warehouse and they were waiting for more stock and that I should have been informed but I wasn't. The items finally arrived on 24th April which is unacceptable. They did offer a refund on the additional delivery I paid and also 10% off my next order but it wasn't the best experience so will probably not use them again.

Disappointed with having to contact company to chase my first order. They kindly gave me 10% in my next order. Decided to try them again - made two orders. First order arrived on the date suggested but sadly I'm still waiting for my second order - it is now 8 days after the date suggested it will arrive. I have had to email the company to chase my order . Disappointed

Product great, however I paid for next day delivery and arrived 3 days later, I had to send a email to chase it. Shame I won't be buying again.

Wrong item sent. I have phoned the company twice after been promised a replacement would be sent. I am still waiting to receive the item I ordered!!
