Beware! They misrepresent their "return policy"and only allows for exchanges or store credit. You will only find this in the small print and nowhere is it clear either on the main site where it say, "returns available - we accept returns until 30 days from delivery date," or in checkout, where it states they have a "refund" policy.

When it comes to hiring a hacker, you need to exercise extreme caution as there are countless fraudsters out there. I bought a bikini and a swimsuit for my daughter's birthday and the website said shipping would be free (I have a screenshot proving this). The purchase price was 189.75 euros. To my surprise, they charged me 82.25 euros for shipping costs, that is, a fee of 43.35% of the purchase value. I complained to the store asking for a refund of the shipping cost that should have been free and they told me that the shipping cost charged was actually import tax. This is not true, firstly because the product comes from Belgium, which is part of the EU, secondly, there are no taxes at the rate of 43.35% of the value of the merchandise and, finally, if it were a tax it would be classified as such and not such as maritime transport. Another trick they use is to give you a free box, which does nothing other than increase the shipping cost, since a swimsuit and a bikini weigh almost nothing and shipping, if it had to be charged, would be very low.

Be careful that the site is in the currency you expect. The website displayed AUD, but it was actually in USD. I got charged a lot more than the invoice stated when I checked out :( I emailed them to let them know and they acknowledged the invoice was in the wrong currency, but did not offer any compensation

I bought two of the one piece bathing suits. One in L and one in XL cause I wanted to know which size would fits me best. The XL fit better, I emailed customer service trying to return one of the bathing suits and get a full refund. They told me I can only exchange it or get in-store credit. She told me the return policy is on their website. Who the hell gets on the website and reads the return policy. I don’t want in store credit, i don’t want anything else from their store. This is so ridiculous. I just want to return both of them now, but if I do I’m going to have $200 of in store credit!! How do they expect you to know if the bathing suit fits without trying it on. I wouldn’t buy from this company.

Ordered a swimsuit. No where did it indicate that they ship from outside the EU nor that there will be massive import duties. This is not compliant with the EU directive on price transparency. When I rejected the delivery, they wanted me to pay an even larger amount for return shipping - more than the value of the product. They refused to compliance with the Right of Withdrawal legislation in the EU. Stay away!

1. You can't ever return an item for your money back (including unopened packages). Only store credit. Your money is GONE the second you hit send. 2. Import fees to non-US countries are absurd. I'm talking 50% of your actual order. 3. You can never cancel order that has been put through - that money is GONE. 4. The quality of the item is absolutely trash. Cheaply made in Indonesia. Gooseberry Intimates is a predatory company that cuts corners, offloads the cost to you the buyer. Save your money and go LITERALLY anywhere else.

Order placed 6th June, money taken but still no delivery. Impossible to contact - sent two emails and several call attempts If it wasn't for their 'live website' I'd assume they'd gone bust! Don't use.

DO NOT USE GOOSEBERRY SHOP LTD ONLINE!! Products will not be sent out to you but your money will be taken. They do not reply to emails sent to them and the telephone number is just an answer phone which they also do not respond to. This is not a review for the Salon, this is a review for the online Gooseberry Shop.

Do not place any orders with this company! I placed an order 3 weeks ago, as at today’s date 17/8/21 still not arrived. I have emailed and left messages but nobody has got back to me. They took the payment two days after the order!!. Getting legal advice.

This is only the second time I have ordered from Gooseberry. The first time it took about 10 days to get my order, this time after two weeks there is still no sign of the goods. Emails take 2-4 days for a reply and you cannot speak to any one on the phone. Very poor service. See Trust Pilot

Made an order in April, which did arrive eventually- very slow delivery. Against my better judgement and based on good reviews on their site I made another on June 20th. I still haven't received products. I waited patiently I think, until 22nd July before sending a polite email asking about my order. Only automated response given and this advises you not to send a follow up email. Presumably you would only need to send a follow up email if your first was ignored. When you call you are advised to email! I left a telephone message on 26th July and sent another email. I can understand that problems occur. I can understand delays and mistakes but ignoring customers is frustrating and rude, especially as payment was taken on 21st June. Absolutely no understanding that a little communication goes a long way but I guess that customer service is not a priority. I assume I have lost my money. Avoid, unless you enjoy hassle and don't actually want your products.
