“On 14/8/2022 I was returning from Kings Lynn to Nottiingham when the warning light in my car informed me that the coolant level was low and that it must be topped up. I could get no help from the Esso Service Station at Bicker Bar so I 'phoned Green Flag, I am partially deaf and it can be very difficult for anyone to converse with me ,but the gentleman at Green Flag had limitless patience and told me he would have a technician with me in 50 minutes he was there in 45.
After a thorough inspection he was able to assure me that it was a sensor malfunction and that I could safely continue my journey. I would like to say that I am grateful both for the swift response in answering the 'phone and attending my breakdown.”
“We had a puncture on a little known road in the Yorkshire Dales. We had no idea where. A Green Flag transporter was with us within the hour. We used “3 words” and we were found quickly. The smiling, happy driver loaded our car and whisked us back home.

A truck picked up the car within an hour ,driver again very pleasant and efficient. “We paid for rescue and recovery as we are elderly and disabled. Bought 9yr old car 10 days before. Drove over 100 miles on motorway in pouring rain. 1 mile from destination on country road oil warning light came on and we found all oil drained from engine all along the road (split in cam chain cover). We were offered hotel for night and hire car next day or taxi all the way home. Car recovered 2 days later. Brilliant service, cant fault them. There was delay in arranging rescue as I had forgotten to register the new car.”
