“On Friday afternoon I was driving from Harrogate back home to near Saffron Walden on the A1 M. I broke down and managed to pull onto the hard shoulder and get behind the barrier. I was a retired woman on her own.
I called Green Fag.
From that call till when I got home (Recovery with car as could not be repaired roadside) I had exceptional kindness, care and professionalism. It was an exceptionally busy time so of course some time waiting but the 3 different Recovery Drivers weee all without doubt a pleasure to meet under stressful circumstances.
I can never recall names but wanted to say a big thank you to them all for getting me and my car home.

“15th April 2026 I called Green Flag on behalf of my brother. His Motorhome would not start. B44 area I am quite elderly hence my hearing is not as good. From start to finish the gentleman I spoke to was so caring and understanding and took his time explaining everything and recording the fact on my brothers notes (be patient hearing?, for any future calls)! He had organized for the call out and within 40 minutes the green flag engineer attended and sorted the problem. Spot on! that's a 'SERVICE' GOOD LISTENING SKILL, PROMPT SERVICE ! “The car wouldn't start right outside our local shops. This was about half past twelve. My husband phoned Green Flag; got through straight away and spoke to a very nice gentleman, who assured him that help would arrive by ten to two. Actually a very nice chap from Highfield Garage was there well before this time. The battery was completely dead; a new one was fitted and he was on his way home well before the stated arrival time. He just wishes he had asked the chap his name..he was polite, friendly and knowledgeable, We would recommend Green Flag to anybody.

“Car broke down so rang Green Flag and a very friendly reassuring mechanic turned up half an hour later, took plenty of time to assess the problem and decided it couldn’t be fixed there and then. He then arranged for a tow truck to come and pick the car up and that arrived 45 minutes later and again a friendly, efficient driver loaded us and the car and we were home after an hours drive. Excellent service, couldn’t have had a better experience.”

“Absolutely exceptional service on Saturday evening. Rang to report a window which would not close, hence car left in-secure. The customer service operator was really friendly and after a few simple questions said a mechanic would be with us within a couple of hours. Less than 30 minutes later the mechanic turned up, he was exceptionally efficient and helpful, and fixed the issue immediately. 5* service couldn't recommend highly enough.”

They sent a guy with motorbike tow frame from JD McAdam and sons breakdown service, think his name was Ian John, he was fantastic, thank you, anyway he loaded the bike and brought us the 50 miles home. The mechanic who attended was Paul Brown from Jackson’s recovery . He said he was due to finish his shift but still came out to help us and he was really friendly and polite and professional. “I phoned up and the phone was answered almost immediately I was contacting you to find out if I was covered for home attendance and if it couldn't be fixed would they take it to a garage of my choice.i was told someone could attend me that night but I was going out and was then given a choice of 2hr slots the next day.i picked between 9 and 11 the green flag mechanic arrived before 9.oclock he then proceeded to diagnose the fault which was a faulty battery did offer me one but the garage that looks after my car offered my one cheaper.this is my first time of using green flag since joining and I have to say I received 5🌟 service all round.MrPaul Ridley”
