“I like my Groundies. They are cute and comfortable. The tongue is a bit long and stiff though that is easily fixable (fold the tongue over towards the toe of the shoe and clip it with a binder clip while not wearing - it softens up and won't poke into your ankle). I wish they would make black with a gray stripe or something, not just black (different colors like the beige)! I wear them to concerts with skirts so they work for my purpose! I have very flat feet.”

“I had 1 pairs Universe sneakers and overall they are comfortable, but there are some issues. It wasn’t clear what the difference is between the men’s and women’s versions. Sometimes the men’s pair was on sale while the women’s in the same size wasn’t, even though the measures in size guide are identical. I wore them often. My white pair was more durable, while the sole on my black pair eventually cracked. The white pair also feels slightly wider than the black, even though it’s the same model. Finally, the brand logo started to peel off in pieces. Not critical, but a bit disappointing”

“I really love your shoes. They are comfortable, wide enough for my feet and really nice to wear. The only two thigs I am missing is non-slip outsole with better grip - I have my second pair of all terrain low waterproof and on rainy days they do not have good enough grip on wet leaves or mud. I also wish, that outsole would not make a sound when i walk on linoleum. Now it makes squeaky noise (I have Lily ballet flats).”

“Hi, I love my Universe HiTop Women, very trendy, look like "normal" shoes, but they have been discontinued! I also love the Helsinki boots, very stylish and I get lots of compliments on them in the winter. Both are very comfortable with wide toe box. Some of the other models like all-terrain high are too narrow in the toe box and squeez my toes, unfortunately. I hope they can bring back the Universe high tops and keep making wide toe shoes.”

“I've been using groundies the last 6 years. Most of my shoes i bought from them. I like the quality of the soles, they usually have a great grip to them even when it is wet. I love the variety of styles and the quality to them. I've consistently gotten +3 years of wear from their shoes so far.”

“Tengo varios calzados de groundies y estoy bastante contento con ellos. Lo unico malo es que es bastante caro y no puedo permitirme muchas cosas. Una pena que el modelo Kyoto esté descontinuado, mi pareja estaba encantada con este modelo, muy chulo y sin cordones, facil de poner. La mayoria de modelos sin cordones son feos. Las estuvo llevando hasta que reventó la suela tras muchisimo tiempo.”

“Bei den Winterschuhen gehen jedes Jahr die Schnürsenkel kaputt. Da könnte man etwas machen. Und beim Profil für Wanderschuhe ebenfalls. Etwas matschtauchliger wäre schön. Mit dem jetzigen Profil hat man keinen Halt. Ansonsten sehr schöne und bequeme Schuhe. Ich bin großer Fan, vor allem weil man nicht gleich sieht, das es barfuß Schuhe sind. Gute Arbeit!”

“Well made and they look nice but too tight on the bridge of my foot and not very generous in the toe box. I got a 36 and i think that most shoes scale down the width too much when making smaller sizes but my foot is just short not tiny all over. I wish barefoot plus was available in more styles.”

“Nova GO1 Men US 8: Appears to be a good shoe. Too small. This size was supposed to fit me according to them, and Groundies are supposed to be wide shoes, but not for me. Not near enough volume for me and overall too tight. The refund process took a lot more time than I thought was reasonable, but I did get it.”

“I did a lot of research to learn about the barefoot shoes concept before pushasing any. I bought a cheap pair off Amazon just as a starter pair but wanted better shoes for long-term use. I did quite a bit of digging and found Groundies to be the only company to provide high-quality options that fit my exact size with the Barefoot+ lineup. I've current bought 5 different types of Barefoot+ shoes in the last couple of years (2 sets being exactly the same shoes) but have only worn 2 of them and kept the rest as backups. I at least tried on all of them, and they seem to fit well enough. Out of the 2 sets that I wear often, the Amsterdam model seems to be a bit tight on the top-right forward side of my right foot, just above the pinkie-toe 'knuckle' joint. It's still been quite a bit helpful in strengthening my lower extremities as I started having some concerning problems with them over the last few years. Overall, I'm more happy with these than any other set of shoes that I've utilized in the past even with some of the concerns that might be present or might show up later.”
