“Joku teidän kenkien valmistuksessa on muuttunut vuosien saatossa. Monta vuotta sitten kun ostin teiltä ensimmäisiä kenkiä, ne olivat aivan ihanan joustava ja pehmeäpohjaisia. Nykyisissä kengissä on selvästi jäykempi pohja, en pidä siitä.”

“Die Schuhe sind tolle Barfußschuhe und haben tolle designs. Allerdings sind sie alles andere als langlebig; sie zeigen nach den ersten Wochen Abnutzspuren, was von nicht allzu guter Qualität zeugt. Ich hätte gerne Schuhe, die länger als eine Saison tragbar sind.”

“Je suis cliente chez Groundies depuis longtemps , j'ai déjà une dizaine de paires de chaussures mais je ne suis pas très heureuse avec mes dernières commandes ... je ne sais pas si la fabrication a changé , mais je ne les trouve plus aussi confortables qu'avant . Je mets donc plus souvent mes anciennes paires et j'hésite à commander de nouvelles .”

“Amazing designs but I stopped buying after purchasing around 10 pairs in past years as the materials never last longer than 2 years for different reasons. Vegan leather surfaces break, soles cracked. I expect more for that price point than just initial prettiness.”

“The shoes are too narrow in the toes so I had to size up. I feel like they don’t fit correctly and my foot slides around. I feel like the narrow toe box defeats the purpose of buying barefoot shoes. I don’t recommend these unless you have narrow feet.”

Thanks for sharing your experience. It sounds like the fit didn’t work for your feet, especially in the toe area. We understand how important space for your toes is when choosing barefoot shoes, and how frustrating it is when that expectation isn’t met. Our models can differ in width and shape, so the fit can feel quite different depending on the design. Some styles are cut a bit closer, which works well for some feet but not for all. “They are comfortable to wear and especially the leather feels very nice. But the sole was not as durable as I hoped. I did not wear them that often but it cracked open on both shoes after just over 1,5 years so I can’t wear them on wet ground anymore. They used to be my go-tos on rainy days, so that was disappointing.”

“Sehr gute Qualität, trage sie gerne in der Natur, auf Asphalt, Steinboden etc. sind sie mir persönlich aber zu ungedämpft, ein Problem, dass ich bei Barfußturnschuhen allerdings nicht habe. Leider sind Winterschuhe auf Grund der dünnen Sohle bei Kälte völlig ungenügend.”

“Love my Groundies shoes! I ordered a 39 but I am between sizes 39 and 40 in general. The 39 was tight so I returned and got a size 40. If you’re in between sizes, size up! Also note that you have to pay for shipping on any returns, which was $30. Would have given a 5 star rating had it not been for the expensive return cost.”

“I bought these shoes, hoping to add a practical winter walking and work shoe to my collection. Sadly, these are too narrow for my feet. I have particularly bad bunions, and need a wide and flexible toebox. If you have average to narrow feet, these may be just the shoe for you. As I ended up returning the shoes, I cannot attest to wear or quality of make. They were a nice, practical color. The return process was easy and free, and I received my refund in a timely manner.”
