“It’s great to have a website for minimal footwear for kids. However some on there might have minimal soles but aren’t ideal for the gait on small children (eg the sandals I purchased previously). I was really pleased to discover your site and the wellies though.”

“As a podiatrist, I buy all my grandchildren's shoes, mainly from HLS. I always tell my patients that no one is as invested in getting the right fit than a parent/carer and the instructions on sizing and internal measurements on each shoe make this pretty straightforward. On top of that, each shoe comes with recommendations to the ideal type of foot. The prices compare very favourably with brands such as Clarks. The only reason I haven't given HLS a 5* review is their stock control. I have had a couple of orders where there has been on line availability only to find one of the shoes isn't in stock.”

“I find the website hard to use - I need to find wide shoes and there’s no way to do this easily except read the description of every brand. It was too much work, so I just bought from Clark’s for her next size :(”

Hi Charlotte, Thank you for the review. You can use the width filter on the left hand side of each page to just display the shoes which are suitable for wide feet.
