“Harbor Freight advertises how they have quality products and tools. I find the quality of there products are low end and they are only interested in extended warranties. I purchased a Viking compact power pack for jump starting my car. The unit is a joke! The unit never held a charge. The lithium battery is garbage. I kept charging it and when. I needed, it was dead as a door nail. I purchased a second unit and the same mode happened and when I just brought it to the store, they said warranty is 90 days and since I did not take out extended warranty I could buy the new model. What good is a unit that cannot last with a lithium battery. I have bought a number of brands of high end tools, my experience is Harbor Freight tools are low end junk”
“Won't stop sending emails. I tried to unsubscribe but it puts me to another application to receive even MORE "promotions". I emailed them and told them to stop the emails and they escalated them! Email harassment and stalking.”
“Yesterday I was in my garage cleaning up. As I looked through shelves I saw a non functional nailer, several volt meters, solar motion light, flat tire, drill, etc. They broke after brief use. I called their customer service and asked if I could bring them back and exchange for a gift card to spend at their store. Response was a resounding NO. Their items are made very cheaply and if I buy, I use coupons.”
“I had to take back an item that did not work and because I did not wanna upgrade they charge a 25% restocking fee After I purchased this item less than 24 hours prior .. I will never ever walk foot on their property again”

“Harbor freight sends me text messages and emails about damn near every day but whenever you go to their store, you can never tell what’s on sale. Everybody has a different coupon and you can never find the coupon for the item you need to buy. I think they should just either have a good price or not. I’m done with Harbor freight”
“I had a Portland blower/vacuum/ mulcher that I had used for about 4 years when the low speed on the switch went out and the vacuum bag got a hole because the material deteriorated so I went to the Queen Creek, Az store and bought another one, mod# 62337, it has been redesigned and while it is still a decent blower it is a terrible Vacuum/Mulcher ( blows air out of the vacuum nozzle), and barely picks up leaves! I feel it was a waste of money!”
“For several years I have purchased products from Harbor Freight. I'm even an "Inside Track" member. Some products are good, some not so good; However, this is not what this review is about. I'm done with them for 1 simple reason.
When Florida and North Carolina residents were and still are hurting from hurricane Helene, we heard nothing from Harbor Freight. Which is fine, they have a right not to support recovery efforts.
However, as soon as the wild fires threatened Los Angeles, Harbor Freight sent out an email saying they were donating "Millions" of dollars to help the people of California.
They also have the right to do this.
But I, and you have the right NOT to support a business that is so obviously bias in their views.”
“Went to buy a portable generator today at the Statesboro,Ga store.All sold out, but floor models on display.I was told they don’t sell floor models.So Harbor Freight would rather a family,children,old folks go without heat and lights during the snow event/inclement weather this week rather than disturb their floor models…I’m Not Impressed and hope you guys aren’t when you read this !”
“My wife had got me a tool box when I was on tour in afghan as a surprise. When I got back times were hard. so I tried to return it. It was brand new in box still had the receipt and they would not refund me.”
