If you want one-use throw away tools, get them at harbor freight I bought their "best 20 ton" jack. It failed under less that 3500 pounds. Tried to return it. They said NO it's 120 days old. I'll never buy anything other there again. It's cheap junk

I bought a weed whacker, Atlas brand, from harbor freight, reloading the line is impossible, went to store for help, store manager, an over weight lazy lying pos, said all weed eater are like this, would not help to reload the line. He said he had no problem with his same model. The atlas brand SUCKS, so does the Vero Beach manager

Harbor Freight the best ripoff in tool sales that there is , they show you all these sales when you're only allowed to use one per purchase . You're better off going to buy tools that are made better.

Never Buy a Gun Safe From Harbor Fright !!! I bought a Union Gun Safe from Harbor Fright After a while my keypad started to get cracks in it so I called to buy another keypad, I was told by harbor fright that they do not have, sell or make spare parts for this Gun Safe. When I asked what I was going to do when it the keypad no longer works, basically I was told that I could do nothing and that the gun safe was Useless and Worthless at that point. SO Let “The BUYER BEWARE” “Harbor Fright Gun Safes are Useless and Worthless to you as time goes on !!!

Ordered a solar panel online 7/26/24, FedEx messed up and returned it to the Dilllon SC distribution center. I called customer service and they reordered on 8/5/24. It’s 8/8/24 and it still hasn’t shipped from Dillon SC. Tired of waiting, I asked to cancel my order, customer service says it cannot be cancelled. So I asked that they get it shipped asap and they said it takes 7-10 business days to ship. I then asked that they call the Dillon warehouse and get it on the truck since it’s been too long a wait and their response was that they cannot call the warehouse. I’ll never order anything online from them again

The employees and manager at the Milton Florida Harbor Freight are un caring and not helpful. I went there to get a machete that was on sale and it took me an hour to finally get the item and the correct price. The staff is clueless! I would give this less than one if possible.

I opened up a vise box, which picture was the the grey vise. I said when the manager brought it up, that's not it. I had to open the box to measure bolt pattern dimensions. He said we don't do that here, Arrogant and disrespectful. I had to take it home and bring it back. The vises do not have sku # on some boxes and I bought the one under the sku #. The box has no specs for bolt hole pattern dimensions. I have no problems with the original manager. The store is Ca#600.This manager's name is Mathew.

Spent 3 hrs driving from location to location, after being told the next store had the jack I was looking for on clearance. Next to last place had one for 197$ but it was missing all the hardware and handle. Associate called heath to confirm that they had 2 still in the box. But upon arrival they marked them up to 299$ horrible customer service, horrible way to do business. I will buy anywhere but here. No communication between locations. Drove from zanesville Ohio. To grove city to Reynoldsburg Ohio and finally to heath. Heath by far the worst place.

Purchased a Fortress air compressor. 6 months later one of the motor brushes wire shorted out. The parts list doesn't show a replacement part for this. Customer Service tried to find even reached out to there supplier/manufacturer. After being told it would take 8-10 weeks to get a reply if this part was available and to get a cost, I received an email telling me the brushes are not available. Well if not available how do they build these electrical motor that have them? I researched other compressor brands from other retailers they can get them for there motors. I did find the brushes on my own and fixed the unit. But this process from beginning to end took over 3 months. Should of went with a different brand and retailer that stands and sells replacement parts for there merchandise. I guess you get what you pay for. I will not be a customer of Harbor Freight for the future. I will also let other in my circle to make sure replacement parts are available for what they buy at Harbor Freight.

Harbour freight is a very bad company. I bought a tig welder and out of the box it did not work. Went to return and was charged $210 restocking fee. I don’t understand why I had to pay $210 restock for junk item that they sell. It’s not my fault.

This used to be my go to store for all tool purchases. Unfortunately, quality control and customer service have gone to the way side. I purchased a mortar/paint mixer, which started smoking upon first use. I returned and exchanged for another unit. That one lasted about a month before the built-in GFIC kept tripping preventing use. I yet again exchanged for a new unit. This one lasted as long as the first did. I took back to store with all receipts to show the issues I had been having with item. This time I wanted to return for a refund as it clearly is a poorly manufactured tool. The manager wanted to charge me $20 to “restock” a defective item that I could clearly show issues with. He also expressed that their tools are made for home/personal use and not professional contractors like myself. He described them as “light use capable”. I also have a Chicago Electric miter saw with a safety recall, which they have no solution for correcting. $300 saw that is unsafe to use with no resolution.

Purchased the Badlands 2500 lb winch for my ATV. Followed the instructions to a T but it erupted into an electrical fire when I made the final connection to the battery. The control box started humming them foof, smoke and flames erupted. Didn't have the switch even plugged in. Only by quickly disconnecting from the battery was I able to get it under control and not destroy my Honda Rancher. Obviously something shorted in the black box or was defective. Needless to say, I am not trying that again. Since some of the product was destroyed, I doubt HF will even give me my money back.

Called your customer assistant phone support to ask questions why your company discontinued selling system security systems. I was told she didn't know why. I guess she did..,.but was told not to disclose the reason. Moving forward.....Guess I will not be shopping at Harbor Freight.

Harbor Freight's Return Policy is NOT WHAT THEY SAY IT IS. This is what's advertised on line (Google): Does Harbor Freight have a good return policy? Merchandise may be returned within 90 days for a full refund or replacement, whichever you prefer. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. When returning an item to a store, you must provide a copy of your packing slip or order with the item listed. Not True. I made a purchase of Bondo $11.99 Not sure if it was what I needed and asked the cashier at the store it it was returnable...he said yes. As it turned out, I didn't use it and took it back to the store. The return was refused and I was shown that on the receipt it said the item was not returnable.......I couldn't read it cause I didn't have my reading glasses (do you always have yours?) I called Customer Service and got the same answer......I'm stuck with it. Needless to say, I won't be shopping at HF in the future nor will I recommend others shop there as I had before. HF, if your listening, mention you have caveats to your return policy

Prices at Harbor Freight used to be very reasonable ! Not any more!! The majority of merchandise is substandard or lower level. Prices are no longer reasonable . Quality and price can be beat by purchasing from sellers on eBay or amazon.

Purchased a few Drummond 1HP Shallow Well Pumps with pressure tank. Have purchased these before and they have performed okay. The last Pump was purchased late Fall 2023 and used for 2 months. Removed and stored for the winter. Installed again late spring 2024 worked for almost a month and quit. The Plastic impeller section inside the Stainless housing had shattered. Harbor Freight does not stock replacement parts nor will they TELL YOU who makes their pumps for them so you can personally research a replacement impeller. Their attitude makes this a $169 throwaway item should anything malfunction. Drummond Pumps imported by Harbor Freight are not serviceable !!!!!. I now currently own 2 of these pumps with good motors and pressure tanks and fittings ( available locally for parts with but with Bad Impellers) soon to be placed on the Spokane WA Craiglist. Perhaps someone can use a motor or tank. I have learned my lesson, I will no longer buy any imported item from Harbor freight that has no parts support. I advise you to buy a pump elsewhere or you'll be wasting your money.

I bought one of the 6 gallon pancake compressor and the air hose from the pump to the tank blew of It has now been almost 45 days and they have no answer to get the replacement part that. I used to be a big fan of Harbor freight and have never had this problem before, but it's like they don't even have an idea when they're going to get this hose. And so be careful when you buy anything from Harbor freight That might have working parts that could go bad.I would not recommend it.I would recommend spending the extra money to a company. That would at least take care of the problem instead of just blowing you off.Thank you!
