Walk into Harbor freight looking for a Roll cab toolbox. Come to find out they don’t stock them you have to order them. OK place the order on 1/17/24 And was given and unreasonable the delivery time of 3/3/24 but said hey, I want it I’ll order it and wait that date came and went here. It is 3/26/24 no email the rep at the store said “ there’s nothing we can do about it it’s third-party” - wow great customer service now I know why you’re stocking shelves

Horrible company that has lousy customer service!!! Bought a many THOUSANDS of DOLLARS ICON TOOL CHEST AND CABINETS - and was told it would be assembled, and delivery would put it where we wanted it. It took 5 MONTHS to get it and the delivery people dropped off 10 boxes at least and left. DO NOT BUY THE ICON TOOL CHESTS AND SHELVES UNLESS YOU PLAN ON SPENDING A MONTH SETTING IT UP!

I didn't have so much about experience with some of the tools but rather with management they're very nice when you want to purchase something but when you have to return something they are not very happy with it and rude I have to drive all the way to the Hesperia store to make a return with the store in Victorville is horrible and I will never shop there again

This company is going to fail if they keep using FedEx and FedEx smartpost. I waited a month after 3 reshipments. I still don't have my package.

I asked a store associate to help locate an item to be purchased. He was extremely rude and arrogant! I will not shop in this store again. Previously I'd always been satisfied with Store personnel and products .

Bought battery charger and it did not even come on, when I returned it clerk asked if it was used ind I said I tryed but it wouldn’t come on. I was charged $8 for returning it, I could see if someone brings back something that works and then returns it maybe they used it first, but when something is defective I don’t thing there should be restocking fee it isn’t going to be restocked it’s going to be returned to manufacturer and I bet if they charged you a restocking fee you wouldn’t be buying from them

Well easy, said they close at 8, and the doors were locked at 750. Why would that be? For any retailer desiring to earn trust and appreciation from their customers, me being a a club member, I expect them to be open until they are closed per their operating hours. I need a jump pack as my other vehicle would not start and had no time to go the following morning, to have them close early is truly a sad display of leadership within a corporation. I guess I'll have to go somewhere else from now on, lose my membership and not support the local business. If that's what they wanted, they succeeded!

My name is Lauren. I recently bought a pressure washer for $89. It worked fine the first time but only had half the pressure a week later. I returned it only to be told there was an $18 restocking fee! I won't ever shop here again. Buy at your own peril.

I just visited a harbor freight and had spent a lot of time organizing my coupons so I could breeze thru checkout and when I pulled up the $20 birthday coupon that they had sent me, I was told it comes up invalid. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. I left without getting a single thing.

they post items as available when they aren't in the store, "limited stock" means it hasn't been delivered and isn't in the store. Call the store before you go__ they say its on the shelf. Go to the store and they send you to an empty shelf

WARNING >> if the items you order are not in the store DO NOT let the store order anything or you may waiting months for it. spend over 3k on tool boxes a set of 4 total .. three of them were delivered to the store and one was on back order.. i went to the store with my receipt to pick up the ones that did come in and the store manager tells me he cant let me have the boxes i paid for until the box that is on back order arrives..its been 2 weeks and i go back to the store and they are now telling me it could be months before the fourth box arrives meaning your out of pocket 3400$ and you don't get what you paid for when they say you will get it .. When i made the purchase i was told everything i ordered was in the whse in Dallas and it will be here in a couple days .. well that was a lie the Baytown tx store and the Dallas whs are 4 hours apart and it take several weeks to get a tool box delivered? i asked if i could drive to Dallas myself and get it and they said no. management pretty much said you are SOL until they get the remaining box from the factory

I found out that there is a hefty restocking fee on any returns. I've never returned anything, but I won't shop there now, in case I DO need to return, I would want all of my money back. Get rid of the restock fee, and I'll return.

I am giving the company a 1 star review. The store I went to a 2 star review and a second store I went to I will not review, but is relevant to the company review. I noticed on- line that the icon push button 8 inch pliers were finally in stock in my local store, and I went there to purchase them. The pliers were not on the shelf nor was there a display hook for them. I inquired with one of the workers who went in the back to locate them. He came back empty handed and asked for the product number. I pulled up the Harbor Freight site and supplied him with the product number and he looked up on the register. As per the stores inventory system they had four in stock. Since he could not find the pliers they must have been shop lifted is what he said. I did not ask the obvious question, “how there is no place to display them?” So, the guy looked for the pliers the store gets two stars EHT , NJ. The following day I was going one hour from home and there was a bigger and better Harbor Freight Tools store and according to the Hatbor Freight Tools web site the pliers were in-stock there. NOT!!! Like my local store, no place to display either. I did not bother inquiring at this store and did not rate it. However, there is enough to rate Harbor Freight Tools and there web site as zero stars. But the lowest number of stars has to be one star. Can’t say I will never shop there but I was prepared to roll the dice on another item at Harbor Freight and that ain’t happening now - I will Amazon it instead.

Bought a Union wall safe from Harbor Freight and went past the 90 days but when i went to install it, the instructions were incomplete and didnt even mention the hardware that was used or how to install. You wouldnt have even thought the supplied install instructions was for this safe. So i called Union Safe and the head guy in that dept didnt even understand what the instructions were for-their main guy over that dept! I called and asked if I could bring the merchandise back and manager said yes. When i got there she looked up my account and because it was more than 90 days refused to refund so I told her I was not taking it back and they could resale it! I was so frustrated with this whole ordeal. One star for rating is too much! Im a contractorand have bought a lot of stuff from there. Not anymore! I guess thats why they only have 1 1/2 stars on Google reviews! I walked out! And they wont even wink at reselling it and making proofit off customer. Btw, there customer service was no better!

I purchased a Hercules rotary hammer drill and I used it one time. It ran properly for approximately 1 minute before it stop hammering and I have a new bit that is jammed in the drill and will not released. There is only a 90 day warranty on their tools unless you purchase an extended warranty. Long story short, you get what you pay for. Don't buy cheap tools if you plan on working with them.
