“Bought a TV roughly 5 months ago, it started producing purple lines through the screen. Rang Harvey Norman for the warranty and was told somebody would get back to me. 2 months went by and nobody hadn’t contacted me and so I called them. The person I spoke to was awesome and told me to come in for a replacement Tv as this was unacceptable. I knocked of work, went home and grabbed my TV and if I went to Harvey Norman. When I got there, they were nothing but rude and unhelpful just wanted me to pay more money and to top it of they did not have any TV available for me. I ended up leaving empty handed, I even had to go back inside to ask them for my TV that I had bought in to have replaced. The manager bought the TV out to the car for me, I not only have a TV with purple lines through it during any screen time it now also has this little crack/scratch looking part on the top of my screen. Will never purchase anything from you guys again. Bad service and does not stand up to the requirements of the warranty. I rang the head office and they said they will find out what’s happening and it’s now been a week and I still haven’t heard anything from you guys. Bad communication and service all round.”
“I had my mum buy a USB-C to headphone jack cable. Gave her a screenshot on ebay selling for $2 with details.
She calls me and says the guy gave her a $20 and its by apple.
I come back with a lightning cable to headphone jack and its another brand but it's compatible for apple. Something is not right.

“Bought a sofa for over 5k. Within a week the recliner sqeaked. I had the entire mechanics replaced under warranty. When it was replaced, I sat on it and the new one immediately sqeaked. The repair man from HN said it was normal. A few months on, the 5k recliner sofa is now mostly used as a regular couch because of this problem. Clearly they believe this is normal.”
“Bought jbl sound bar and remote reciever stopped working around after 3 weeks.i Went there and they told to fix it and keep it for warranty repair. They didn't tell me any thing how long it will take. When you go to buy they treat very good but if you have some problem thay ignore you. They should replace as the product is bought just 3 weeks ago.
Get back my soundbar after few weeks. Now having another problem chromecast is not working. Called the jbl , they said that it not possible to connect with the right person. I have to call again. And their timings are Mon to Fri till 5pm . They should also know that we are also working from Mon to Fri til 5pm . They should make their timings for sat and Sunday also .
Just adding more the problem in soundbar again comes after nearly 3 months and harveynorman service is more then worse don't have any words .
Just remembering the goodguys service its good . Once bought electrical kitchen appliance and gets faulty. When I went they replaced straight away.”

“Click and collect is a lie, and poorly managed . After sending a text saying I’m on my way . I’m in the car park. I send message to say I’ve arrived as instructed. The sign says sit tight . I waited 15 mins in the car park . Then went inside and all the staff avoided me . Finally I was sent to a queue . I was given not accurate instructions to go outside drive around the back to a tiny window for click snd collect. Staff all agreed the system stinks so the fault lies squarely with Management. The experience requires grit and the patience of a saint.”
“Disgusting experience. The service is just trash, I made the phone call earlier the day and was told that my product would be in stock at the warehouse, but they actually didnt. Wasted me 2 hours and I made another phone call explaining the situation and they transferred the call five times and denied it (lied) 5 times, with extremely horrible attitude. The arrival time was changed from 1 week, to 2 weeks, and then 3 weeks and now next month. I dont think the customer service team knows ANYTHING they are doing or saying. This company is just full of disgusting LIARS. I am rating one simply cuz i cant do -100.”

If you have an issue and/or a query the only way to contact them is via their web chat, you just get their scripted standard answers, and in my case issues do not get resolved or escalated until you reach your breaking point and indicate you will take further action and contact Fair Trading.”
“Bought an online item from Harvey Norman, who unfortunately use Toll. Have made two email queries and one phone query to Toll to the delivery of my items.. According to their tracking, my item was out for delivery twice, and twice returned to their depot. At no stage did I receive any sms or email notification. Also, my home security cameras showed no attempts to deliver my item. I am at a loss to determine how I can get my good delivered.”
