When i got the pillow i couldn’t see the actual softness of it because of the plastic (air filled). When i took the plastic off I realized it was very hard.. it’s very uncomfortable. I ordered the #18 which was supposed to be one of the softest ones :/ I feel duped because it does not match the “moelleux” description (feels like a rock). I will probably not even use this 150$ pillow because I can’t return it because I took the plastic off.

Hi Sabrina, Thanks for your review. The Queen # 18 pillow should have been a good fit. If you find the pillow too thick, please do not worry. It will soften up with use during the first few weeks of use. There are different ways to use the pillow. For instance, both surfaces of the pillow are not the same. One is meant for uniquely side sleepers, and the other surface is for both side and back sleepers. If you need any kind of help and/or explanation, please do not hesitate to contact us. It can also take a bit of time to get used to the pillow. We are here to help you if you have any questions or want to make sure you are using it correctly. Please keep an eye out in your emails, I have a few suggestions for you to help soften up the pillow. Best regards, Desiree
There is a survey for choosing the pillow on the website, wiith height and weight and shoulders and sleep position. It suggested a “30” pillow. I ordered. I was contacted by customer service suggesting a 26 or 24 instead. I took their word for it. The pillow they sent is hard and flat. Only comfortable when lying on my back which is not how I sleep. Causing ear and shoulder pain I don’t know their rationale for the switch, maybe it was just what they had in stock. Decided to give it a try but was very disappointed. Waste of money.

Hello, Thank you for reaching out. We are sorry to hear that the pillow thickness we recommended to you is too thin. Queen pillows run thicker than the standards, and we had a concern the thicker Queen pillow might have been too firm for you based on your measurements. As a family-run business for over 35 years, we always make sure to verify all of the answers you provide at the time of purchase so that we send you your perfect thickness. In this case, it looks like you would have benefited from a thicker pillow. We just sent you an email to provide a solution. Looking forward to hearing from you, Desiree
Not the right pillow for me but what is really frustrating is the terrible return and/or exchange policy. The only way to test whether a pillow if right for you is to sleep on it for a night or two but Headleveler doesn't provide a protective cover (in order to test the pillow in a hygienic way) or allow for removal or the plastic covering (how can yo truly test a pillow with through plastic wrap and air?). All return and/or exchange processes are difficult and require additional payment from the consumer. If the company truly believed in their product these processes would free.

Hello, We are sorry to hear that the pillow is too thick for you. We reviewed the notes on your order. We had two telephone consultations with you in order to provide you with the best possible service. On both of these occasions, it was explained that you could cut the corners of the pillow package in order to remove as much air as possible, and try the pillow on your bed without fully opening the package. Sleeping with the plastic package is not recommended because air will re-infiltrate during the night. The purpose of trying the pillow on your bed is to ensure that you have the proper thickness given the different types of mattress firmness on the market. Pillows can be exchanged completely free of charge if they are unopened. Had the pillow package not been opened, we could have custom-made a thinner version to better suit you. Please keep an eye out for an email we will send you shortly. Thanks, Desiree :>
