disgrace of a service!!! ordered a pair of trainers that said they were in stock only for the order to be cancelled because it wasn't in stock. shambles. first time ever using the site and won't be back

Hi Richard, I would like to apologise profusely for the out of stock. We understand this is very frustrating. Our Stock Management Team work relentlessly to prevent this from happening. On this occasion, our affiliate marketing campaign promoting the Comme Des Garcons Trainers resulted in a high amount of orders for the same shoe within seconds of each other; regretfully our stock system did not synchronize in time. As you are aware, we processed a full refund and emailed you an apology along with a free shipping discount code. We would like to stress further this is a rare occurrence. The service is not helpful and late response, specially when I need to return the items and refund!!! I will not put this site is 1st on my shopping list at all.

However, on this occasion our customer service representative mistaken your query for an order confirmation email as you made your request by replying to your order confirmation email, so the subject of your email was that of an order confirmation email. A poor experience at Hervia due to never receiving my order as it wasn't in stock in the first place. I never received an explanation or was notified of the situation until I had to call them directly. Please keep your website updated and be better at communicating with your customers in the future.

I spoke with Shannon due to the fact that only a few days after I had placed my order Hervia had begun offering worldwide free shipping as well as a 10% discount promotion because of the website being down on account of the release of the Yeezy Kanye West x Adidas Boost 350 Moonrock, but never heard back from him despite being told to look for an email from him the next day after he spoke with the "operations manager." When I called back the next day to follow up about the status of my inquiry, I was told by a female customer service representative that Shannon was the manager and that she would be unable to accommodate my request for free shipping and the 10% discount promotion despite my being upgraded to VIP status, which I guess doesn't mean much anyway. Furthermore, Hervia advertises on its website "tax free" shopping for all customers outside the EU, but I had to pay a $51.32 USD duty tax to DHL in order pick up my package, which defeats the purpose of shopping on Hervia since there are many other e-commerce that truly offer tax free shopping and will also honor discount promotions retroactively within a certain time period, not to mention pre-paid return labels for returned items. In short, since you asked, I had an extremely shitty and totally fucked up experience shopping with Hervia and would not be inclined to shop there again!

Hi William, The VIP 10% discount plus free worldwide shipping promotion period was Friday 20th - Sunday 22nd November. You placed your order on the 11th November. William, our customer service team apologised and explained to you that you were outside of the promotion date limitations on several occasions, you agreed, yet phoned back hoping another customer service representative would honour your request. HERVIA IS tax free for customers outside of the EU. The tax is automatically deducted from the item when you placed your order. The $51.32 USD duty charge is from US customs, and is completely out of HERVIA's control. It's a shame you feel so negatively towards HERVIA. I would recommend you join HERVIA's mailing list for any promotions on shipping and discounts in the future - but as we explained before we do have strict promotion limitations in regards to dates. Although Hervia's shipping options to the U.S.--I live in Seattle--are not the best, I must say that their sale prices are very good. However, their customer service is absolutely terrible! I wanted to exchange a pair of trousers I'd purchased for a larger size. As instructed on their website, I contacted their customer service. I followed all the instructions provided by their customer representative, Louis, exactly and immediately. However, all my several follow-up emails to find out the status of my exchange have gone unacknowledged and unanswered. I am now out-of-pocket $164.30 ($111.88 for trousers + $32.52 postage + $19.90 return postage) plus a lot of follow-up time and frustration. (The larger size I wanted to exchange the trousers for is still currently available on their website--the last one available.) I will definitely not repeat.

Very sorry to here about this poor service - it is certainly not up to our usual standard. On investigation, the senior person dealing with this went on holiday and due to lack of commuication, thought the matter had been dealt with. When the office opens on Monday, we will resolve this to your satisfaction. Very sorry again for the inconvenience.

The Comme des Gar?ons 'Play' tee shirt, shrunk so much I can no longer wear it . After the 1st wash ( by hand at 30 degrees as advised on the label ), very unhappy ! Before leaving this negative review I contacted customer services, Lewis Taylor, and he was really unhelpful ! I am a freelance stylist, with over 25 years in the business and I am really sad to have to leave this kind of comment! Shame on you Hervia.......
