I would like to formally lodge a complaint against Hi-Fi Corporation regarding their dispicable customer service. Their failure to cancel my online order dispite multiple confirmations and follow-ups. On 30/01/2026 I placed an online order #9695920 and I cancelled it within an hour after having visiting physical store and purchasing the same item. I immediately contacted Hi-Fi Corporation telephonically to cancel the online order and I was assured that the cancellation had been processed. The reference number provided to me is 9000475596. Today, 11 February 2026 at 16:44 I contacted customer service again, for the fourth time on 0860 459 459 and spoke to a consultant named Nomcebo. During this call, I requested the contact details of a manager or supervisor for escalation. I was told that if I continued requesting the manager's contact details, my call would be terminated. Shortly thereafter, my call was indeed disconnected. Prior to this, I had also spoken to another consultant who was extremely unhelpful, kept me on hold for extended period, ended not being attended to until I hang up. This experience has been frustrating and completely unacceptable. I am once again requesting a cancellation and a refund on this order. I no longer need this item, and I expect written confirmation that the cancellation has been successfully processed because on Monday, 9 February I received a notification both on my messages and email confirming successful delivery of this order of which I never accept or receive any order. Due to the handling of this matter and the poor service received, I will not be purchasing from Hi-Fi Corporation again and strongly caution others against using this store online services.
