“It was ok, we have a very safety driven culture so most of it was already known. What would have been good was a periodic reminder to stop and have a break/look away from screen to encourage people to apply what they're being taught.”

“My experience with the training was very good. I have one question, in that, under the recovery position module, nobody checked the pocket with their forehand of the side that they were turning the casualty on. This would ensure that there was no keys or sharp objects that could hurt the casualty upon turning. Maybe a thought of adding to your video. “One section highlighted a scenario in a school where questions were asked afterwards. The incorrect answers included not allowing students to clean up. I did find this a bit confusing because in many cases you can't always rely on students to clean up without checking afterwards. This is in itself a risk.”

I have had a look at the scenario you are referring to in the course, and whilst I do understand that teachers or others in charge will need to check that the students have cleaned up sufficiently, none of the correct / incorrect answers are in themselves unsafe actions if the student does it correctly. Having said that, I completely see where confusion may lie and I have passed on this feedback to our Content department to look into. “I found it quite long and some of the information a bit confusing to understand. Wording too technical”

Although we do give an approximate timescale for our courses it is just a guide as we understand that everyone learns at different speeds and often people make notes whilst they complete the course which can mean it takes longer to complete. The Level 2 Food Hygiene course is one of our most popular courses. It is a very in depth course and covers a lot of necessary topics in order to ensure that the learner has met the UK and EU legal requirements. The course can be spread out over several sessions, and doesn’t have to be completed in one go which may help in terms of the length of the course!
