A easy experience, just a shame had to contact flight provider direct to book hold baggage and extra leg room seats.

We approached holiday gems after being told that there were no holidays available from Bournemouth to Spain, Holiday Gems pulled out all the stops and sorted us out a package holiday to exactly where we wanted to go, thank you again. We would recommend them to anyone and we will use them again.

Really happy. Holiday Gems very courteous and phone you back at a drop of a hat unlike other travel firms who are unable to contact. The only problem I had after booking was after we submitted the booking the price increased which resulted in myself having to pay the remaining balance.

Thank you for your positive comments, Pamela. We do regret that the online costs could not be honoured but we d try and make the process as transparent as possible as costs and availability change so rapidly. We do hope that this will not detract from enjoying a perfect holiday.

Always use HG and helpful and efficient service but just found my latest booking very annoying as the price was a lot more then quoted and booked online once it’s confirmed and the difference has to be paid! Makes a big difference as to whether I’ll use again in the future.

This appears to be an online order and no payment is taken when the order is submitted. The website gives full information of the process on every page of the order and this is reiterated in the Terms and Conditions to which you agreed when submitting the order. Once orders are received by our office, should we not be able to honour the booking at the web price we will call the client to offer any suitable alternatives which is then up to the client to accept or not. No payment is taken until our client agrees to the new costs. A pre-authorisation only is held, and released immediately if no booking is confirmed. We do regret that after many positive bookings that this issue has impacted on any future consideration.

The website was very easy to use to make our booking. Had a few issues with incorrect information on our final confirmation documents when received. After a few phone calls with customer services, everything was sorted, a little bit frustrating having to make these calls to highlight silly administration errors

Easy to book and navigate, although wasn't prepared for a £40 + price hike between booking and receiving a phone call with confirmation 5 minutes after booking. Was sent all the documentation through quickly but nothing to prove I paid the further money. The email with queries went unanswered.

According to our notes on the booking, this was discussed prior to confirmation and additionally, the receipt is showing as 2 payments and no outstanding balance to be paid. Absolutely fantastic service so far. I have nerve damage they explained thought that and want I need to have. Plus refund about coivd. How to book per coivd check list. Payment plan offered

We do apologise if you have been unable to contact our offices by phone. Due to a surge in new bookings the customer service lines have been very busy and we do know that we may exceed the wait times, for which we apologise. You may also email the team if the matter is not urgent or access the FAQs online which are comprehensive. Payment must be made online on the following link - https://www.holidaygems.co.uk/mybooking/manage We trust that this will resolve matters but our staff will always do all possible to assist if necessary.

First experience with holiday gems and so far a very good one.. Stuart was my advisor who had tremendous patience As my booking was not simple but kept a sense of humour throughout I will let you know how booking plays out as only at deposit stage So far very good

I had some issues trying to book online - so I tried to speak to a "real person" This proved to be a much better experience!! I booked my holiday with greater ease and better two way communication.
