“This is second review for this company. I left a negative review by mistake. That review was meant for another company. Because of that company I choose this holiday gems. The whole process was pain free. And the sales lady (forgot her name) was brilliant, she answered a lot of questions before I decided to book. ( other company name was holiday genie) hence the mix up”

“Absolutely unbeaten on price by a country mile.Skme sites asking more for the hotel only than they were for the whole package. Used them before and definitely will do again.”

“Good choice of holiday deals to suit your budget. Easy online booking process. Was contacted by a friendly member of staff via phone to confirm a few details but I missed their call. It took a couple of hours to get a call back but they are dealing with a very high volume of calls at the moment. Overall the holiday was booked and confirmed really quickly.”

“I have booked to Turkey with out checking the red list but they have called me back and they booked back to Greece, otherwise I would have been in trouble. So nice of you HolidayGems Team :)”

Our team will always strive to ensure that, however you make your booking, you have the best advice and guidance. The regulations change rapidly and it is not easy to keep abreast especially when the traffic light system can change overnight. Geraldine is an asset and we are fortunate to have her on the team. We do know that due to the surge in bookings, our answer times have exceeded the normal timeframes for which we sincerely apologise. This will be addressed and improve as travel normalises.

“I thought I was very pleased with HolidayGems, website was easy to use and the prices were great. Until an agent called me 2 hours later and said the price had gone up by £16, how? As I had already booked the holiday on the website, only to find out that they are a 3rd party and basically use the same websites that we all use. It was all sorted out with a phone call though.”

This appears to be an online order and no payment is taken when the order is submitted. The website gives full information of the process on every page of the order and this is reiterated in the Terms and Conditions to which you agreed when submitting the order. Once orders are received by our office, should we not be able to honour the booking at the web price we will call the client to offer any suitable alternatives which is then up to the client to accept or not. No payment is taken until our client agrees to the new costs. A pre-authorisation only is held, and released immediately if no booking is confirmed. We do thank you for proceeding with the booking and we are sure that you will have a great holiday.
