“The room was great and exactly what I needed for a working trip. The WiFi was good and the kitchenette was stocked with tea and coffee and loads of space for cooking. Room was clean and plenty of towels provided, will definitely be staying again!”

“Was an ejoyable stay at coach house. House was clean & comfortable & all rooms were spacious. Only suggestion would be more essential products in house like soap, bin bags, oven glove.”

“We spent a wonderful week in this nicely appointed, spacious, modern property in the lovely seaside town of Whitby. We were impressed by how close we were from the town centre, just 5 minutes walk. With a dedicated parking space outside the front of the property, you can park and not worry about parking tickets. If you’re going exploring by car, the location is perfect for the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors, Robin Hoods bay, Scarborough and beyond, where you will find the lovely preserved railway the famous North Yorkshire Moors Railway and fictional village of ‘Adensfield’ from the television series ‘Heatbeat’. This property has so many positives to offer visitors. With a well equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, you can cook in, as well as eat out. The three bedrooms offer spacious living space for a family, as well as groups, we found the beds, mattresses and pillows very comfortable. Ideal to rest your head on after a busy day exploring the town, or coming back from the pub. What’s not to like about the town either, which has lots of pubs, restaurants and museums to sample & explore all eat walking distance from where you’re staying. You can still imagine the hundreds of fishing trawlers unloading their numerous fish catches onto the quay side, as you walk along the road towards the town, with piles of lobster pots lining the quay edges as a reminder to you that this place was once a hub for landing all sorts of fish from the North Sea. The railway station is around 10 minutes walk from the property and is ideal to take the train, sometimes a steam one - which has amazing views of the Esk Valley, at Goathland you can change trains for a leisurely steam train ride to Pickering. Again lovely scenery and adds to the relaxation of your holiday. All in all this property is a great base for exploring both Whitby, and the wider North East. Highly recommended home from home. We will be back.”

“I hate to say this and share my experience as I will book again and hope it’s not booked already. We stayed for work at Forest live Dalby and this house is fantastic clean, bright and spacious and just a pleasure to of been here, and very reasonable priced too.”

“We had a short break staying at Honey Cottage, Hinderwell. Accommodation was bright and clean. Space at back for bikes...even a bike shower! Thankfully weather was fantastic so didn't need it. Lovely to have areas to sit out both back and front of house. Beautiful area to explore. Perfect.”

“A fab property close to Whitby, ideal for a small group or family. The place was clean and tidy, nicely decorated and the Hot tub was a great bonus, if a little too much water in it. My communication with the team at Host & Stay was great, they got back to me really quickly when I had questions. Would recommend them and use the again.”

“Can't fault the staff and found them really helpful and forthcoming with any information regarding the property. Booking very good and easy to manage. Would definitely recommend. Apartment lovely and well kept. Location was ideal for the town centre and all the attractions were close by .hopefully get to book again in the future.”

“Great location and view from the apartment of the Abbey. The bay window was a lovely view although needed cleaning and shame it did not open as hot very humid when hot! The carpets were covered in marks however they were hoovered nicely. The kitchen was nicely stocked and was a nice addition of dishwasher tablets. It was not mentioned about three flights of stairs to get to this apartment so may be worth taking into consideration when booking. The lock is very difficult to use when opening the door - took multiple times every time which was a pain and did not seem very secure. The apartment is very spacious and we enjoyed our stay overall. Especially that it was pet friendly :) It’s also worth noting that there is no parking, there is a car park very close but costly when you want to stay for longer than a day. When we have previously stayed we have had a scratch card and been able to park for free on the streets, this may be worth investing in future.”
