“We were meant to stay at an apartment and 2 days before there was an apparent leak so we had to choose another place “Seal Watch”. Location wise it was excellent and the secure undercover parking was an absolute dream. However this is where the positives end. The apartment was FILTHY, dust, grime, grease, dead flies, crumbs and anything else you can think of. With two small children it was less than ideal. The bathroom was disgusting, pubic hair, faeces, urine stains and smell. The bathroom was covered in mould which you could smell too. There was scum all around the shower, on the tiles and bath. Behind the toilet and sink were black with dust, hairs and god knows what else. The finish of the apartment was basic to say the least, it had terrible electric heaters which took ages to warm the place up, thank goodness it wasn’t as cold as it has been. They offered a cleaner to come out but we refused due to the inconvenience and not wanting to pack our things up. It also needed a deep clean not a quick whip around. All in all a real disappointment, we are just waiting for customer service to get back to us regarding our complaint.”

“The property is beautiful and in a quiet picture perfect place. Everything very clean and tidy and everything you need there. Please note, let them know if you're vegan or lactose intolerant as they provide a welcome basket and unfortunately we wasted the fresh milk they provided. The other bits were taken home for family. Also note one of the rooms is not very accessible with a beam across the middle of the room, I also wouldn't use this room if you want to be the first to bed or last one up as there is no door between this room and the living room, there is only one accessible room on the ground floor. The hot tub was perfect and hosts very attentive ensuring the hot tub was always ready to use.”

“Lovely apartment, all clean and tidy, no problem with parking, lovely and warm would definitely book again nice little break away for an anniversary. However, noise levels from upstairs were particularly loud.”

“The entrance and hallways of the building were smelly and dirty. The apartment was not cleaned and there was a leak on one of the bedrooms, although we knew the location was going to be loud because of bars and clubs near by the noise felt like we were clubbing ourselves, the state of the windows was really poor so we could hear everything Really disappointed as this was not a cheap apartment, the beds were really uncomfortable and the carpets were all really dirty. The photos on the website must have been taken a while ago and it does not look that way anymore, would not recommend and wouldn’t certainly stay there again Such a shame”

“Unfortunately I am a dissatisfied customer, I book an apartment with booking for three adults on a business trip. Dirty apartment. Many broken things including the bathroom radiator. A single queen-size bed and two sofas. Problems logging in, no one answers the phone. On the contrary, the view of the sea was beautiful. I wrote to them and in response they simply thanked me for the feedback. I WILL NOT RETURN'”

“Perfect stay! Really lovely apartment and communication was great, any questions were answered so quickly! They even left us a card and box of chocolates as the reason we stayed was for a birthday, this was a really lovely touch. Would definitely stay again, thank you.”

“Lovely apartment, good location, great seating area, comfortable beds. Excellent wardrobe spaces. We were disappointed with the following No information booklet even though to could get information via booking.com app, apartment smelled very musty when entering the building & through the whole stay. Not enough crockery, kitchen not very well equipped as would have liked. For a luxurious stay we would like a luxury towel or robes. We were unable to locate the switch for the outside lights only found when leaving.”

“Absolutely outstanding property. Everything in house was of a high standard. Lots of little extras like a hairdryer for each bedroom. Yorkshire tea in and caddy and a nespresso machine. Good communication from the host and beautiful decor throughout. Every part of our stay was great we will definitely be returning to The Mount. Would highly recommend if your looking for that little bit of luxury while your away. 10 out of 10”

“Great communication from the point of booking, clear instructions on access and directions to the property. Once we arrived we were very impressed with the cottage which was very well equipped and very clean with a mountain of fluffy towels, toiletries and loo roll. We've had a lovely break and have already booked for another peaceful relaxing Xmas break at the cottage. Great value for money, fantastic location, beautiful property definitely on our favourite list.”

“Modern apartment in Liverpool. Good location. Comfy bed. Sofa bed comfy enough. Good storage. There was an issue with our balcony door (it didn't lock, and when it was closed it had a gap). Because we were right next to concert square it was quite loud and woke me up a couple times. Some of the floorboards in the bedroom are bent upwards - potential injury hazard. Dining table was fine but the two other chair side tables are very wobbly and flimsy. Living space needed a hoover, but everything else inside was clean. The balcony was scruffy and had cigarette butts on the floor. The heating automatically turns down which wasn't great with the draft. Very rarely saw people on the front desk. And on arrival we had to ring 4 times before someone came to the door. We tried to get in the door but we didn't know you had to press # before getting in. Overall - It's modern but feels rushed and we didn't like how little we saw staff. It's nice to know there is someone there in person 24/7. But if you want to be right next to the nightlife then it's good. But we wouldn't stay here again.”
