Horrible costumer service. Item not received and not refunded. Thank god I payed with paypal because house of fraser DID NOT show any signs of trying to help.

Ordered a barbour ladies jacket it was too small Irish website returned jacket I had recept of postage which I emailed to customer services still have not got a refund. I have contacted customer services a number of times and I have to give all details again to different customers service agents it is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. I have asked to have a manager contact me no response from them Do Not Buy From This Company

I ordered some trainers for my mum for Christmas but I received the complete wrong item and so I contacted customer service hoping that they could help me out. Instead, they told me to return the item and that I would still be charged for the delivery fee for them to be shipped to me and the return fee for them to be shipped back. This doesn’t make sense to me as I am paying for something I didn’t order to be sent here and be sent back! I ordered these as a Christmas present a while before Christmas so there was plenty of time for a new one to be shipped out to me. However, they said that they wouldn’t be able to do that for 3 weeks or when they had received the return back. Not to mention that the football boots I received instead also arrived dirty and in ripped packaging so if I had ordered them I still wouldn’t be happy. They told me that they couldn’t offer me anything in return and all that I could do is return the item for a refund. Will absolutely not be using them again!

Drive to the Carlisle store for Christmas gifts !! Spent alot of money got home only to find a a expensive jumper still had the tag on ! Two young girls in the desk to busy talking to each other now have to travel 45 minutes to have tag removed. Customer service number a joke you ring many times and different times no one answers and your call get cut of after 3 minutes. Dreadful

Clothes were thin and cheap.. had to pay £4:99 for delivery and another £4:99 to return! cannot contact customer support unless it’s one of their pre chosen questions! seriously disappointed.. will not use House of Frazer again!!

The company offered a £50 voucher if you spent above £250. I spent £264 on 23 November but instead of receiving a voucher, I received an email saying they would check if I qualified by 5 December .... well after I received the package. I persued on Twitter and received confirmation of eligibility but they said it could be the end of December before I received the voucher. Surely, the technology exists to check eligibility at point of sale and issue an e-voucher automatically? Customer service unhelpful. Whatever happened to the highly regarded House Of Fraser that didn't behave in such an unscrupulous way?

As per all the other reviews I am now reading - Online returns portal doesn't work and the customer service is a joke. They are actually lying saying that it must be temporarily down! I am in ROI and have to return shoes that didn't fit myself. The website warns that if I use my own shipping method I could be charged import and customs duties so I am hoping this won't happen. Never using this website again!

Ordered a jumper next day del at £10 extra, a small pair of swimming trunks turn up. Can’t get a refund for the jumper I didn’t get until they receive the trunks back which I had to pay another 4.99 to send. 14 days later I am still happy to take the jumper I ordered but they have refunded the cost of jumper only. So I have paid them 14.99 to spend 55 mins on live chat and send in excess of 20 emails and have nothing. Spent 100s prob 1000s over the years abs will never buy from them again. I cannot be alone!

Ordered a coat on 24th October. Never received package. Queried and they said the delivery was non compliant after sending me a picture of a person handing a package to a different house and also seeing other deliveries to me by the same courier matching my photo of the front door. After chasing again they now say the GPS shows my address and the refund is rejected. Abysmal treatment from House of Fraser and 156.99 out of pocket, while someone else i'm sure, is enjoying my coat for free.. tried to reason with them and they refuse to help me and have now told me to claim through my payment provider. Never EVER use Sports Direct i.e. House of Fraser! AVOID at all costs.

AWFUL and APALLING customer service! Will not buy anything from them again! I order some Guerlain mask (£190) as gift, and the product arrived in shabby boxes, so I checked batch code in cosmetic calculator found the product is expiring in 3 months! Who would pay full price for expiry product?? so I asked customer service to reimberse the return cost. The guy insisted it's in date and refused to do anything, not even to reimberse 4 pound of return cost for their own bad product!! I spent £400 in total in this stupid store, and that's my lesson learnt. No wonder they are going down the stains, they don't even manage to save any reputation at all, all about getting rid of expiring stocks and get cash. Stay away from this unsavable retailer.

Never again. Appalling experience. Ordered a designer leather iPad sleeve worth £285. It was sent in a flimsy plastic bag and arrived folded in half! Contacted customer services who were hostile and even after seeing photos denied anything was wrong! No apology and very dismissive in their language and attitude. Eventually agreed it was faulty after a lengthy online chat. I will never order from this company again. They clearly don’t need the custom as they treat customers with utter contempt.

Wanted to buy sunglasses for my daughter but was watched suspiciously by a shop assistant who made us feel that we were being suspected of stealing them . I asked if I could buy a pair but they don’t keep any new boxed pairs in store so you don’t have to have the ones that a huge number of other people have handled . The shop assistant made us feel as if we were a nuisance and the whole experience made us walk out and I will buy from another shop . My daughter asked if some perfume was in the sale . But, given the wrong advice after coming home and looking on line . The whole shopping experience is awful in HOF Guildford. ( only one lovely lady on the Dior counter) she should get out and join another retailer that sees her benefit. Would never recommend anyone to use this store as you can’t get refunds in store soon and online is awful if you want to return anything. Sad, because I used to spend a lot in this store and now it just doesn’t seem worthwhile.

Awful customer service Do not buy from HOF They do not refund postage or delivery fees for faulty products and go round and round the houses In the end I gave up They are incompetent, evasive, illiterate and not the brightest bulbs in the box Didn’t know if it was a deliberate attempt to dodge refunding the charges or whether they are actually just incompetent

Absolutely shocking customer service. Have to go through all the irrelevant questions on the chat line, then eventually you can get to speak to an advisor who rarely gets to help you before they close the chat and leave you hanging. i have had a gift voucher since the beginning of the year, i have not been able to use it yet because their hopeless system rejects it. it was re-issued by HOF and i just tried to use it, it seemed to go through ok, then it flashed up saying there is an error, try again, which i did and now it it is saying my voucher invalid!! IF i ever get to spend this i will NOT be returning to this store again, its not worth the hassle

It was a disaster. Shopping with House of Fraser is a disaster! Please do not shop with them . They just try their chances to sell their items. I have ordered 2 Tommy Hilfiger polo shirts and paid for both plus the postage cost. The items which I received where totally different items from the picture on the website. I returned them and asked for the full refund ( including postage cost ) as I am not responsible for their mistakes, but they only returned the items money without the postage amount after several emails I had sent them!!! Imagine how many £4.99 they collect during the 24 hours of online shopping for the wrong items they send to us. They are not professional and honest ! They just want to sell the items in their warehouse. They send you the items that is not match with what you have ordered in case you like and keep them , therefore they just try to sell what they have !
