Jacket was sent with sizing on but when measured it wasn’t that size, customer service completely ignored the problem and just sent a template email saying sorry we can’t help and hope this has cleared up the matter. I even sent photos of me with the jack and tap measure

I ordered £400 worth of clothing and out of 10 items only 3 were delivered. They are saying that ALL items were delivered so now I’m £300 out of pocket. They have not herd the last of this. Will never purchase from H of F again which is a shame as before it was recently taken over I purchased most of my clothes from there. Appalling customer service department

Purchased a necklace whilst on holiday 8 hours round trip away from where I live. The nearest HoF is a 4 hour round trip away from my home. The necklace fell apart after being worn once. I tried to return on line and after multiple attempts and the same response I will NEVER purchase another item from HoF. They told me I had to return to the store of purchase. The store is 8 hours round trip away, the necklace cost £14, do the math!! I'm stuck with a bunch of beads and a very very bad experience. It's not about the money, it's about the lunacy of the policy. HoF, if you read this please get your act together and offer customers the service they deserve when they have purchased a faulty item. The onus is on you to fix the issue, not on them to travel hundreds of miles for a faulty item return when you could do it easily online.

Had a nightmare experience particularly with the Customer Services. Purchased a Paul Smith t-shirt which was faulty and didn't discover until we got home. Purchased ladies underwear and the Assistant left the Security tag still on there. Purchased whilst on holiday as there is no HoF near us. Been told by Customer Services these must be returned to the store. They cannot do anything unless we purchased them online. Em it's your error and incompetence. So they think it's acceptable for me to lose my money. What kind of policy do they have and where is it written that we should not purchase items in a store unless we live local!!! Shocking. We try to buy British. Well we need to rethink this and give HoF a miss.

I ordered a dress but it was too big so I sent it back and ordered a smaller size. That arrived and it fits well so I've kept that one. However, a couple of weeks later, the larger dress arrived on my doorstep with a letter saying that it is in a used condition and so they can't refund me. I checked the dress and there is not one mark on the dress and the tags are still on it. I don't understand! Of course there's no phone number so I've been emailing back and forth and they are saying that even if I send the dress back to them again they will just send it back to me! This is ridiculous customer service. Don't order from this retailer.

I bought a pair of shoes & after wearing them for 7 days the sole was coming apart from the upper shoe. I explained to customer service that this is a manufacturing fault. I sent a picture & they advised me to return the item. They then rejected the return because they were worn. And then returned the shoes to the wrong address. Customer service does not seem interested in removing this, I am now shoeless & £120 down. By reading the reviews this seems like a common problem with Customer Service.

Ordered next day delivery. Order didn’t arrive. Could only speak to an online robot (there is no contact number). Once I got through to a human online advisor I found them very rude. The order was apparently held up with the couriers. Unfortunately when my order finally arrived I wasn’t home and it got left at my front door (which I hadn’t specified) and must have been stolen. House of Fraser told me to raise with the couriers and wanted nothing to do with it. This order was £250! I can safely say I won’t be shopping with them again.

Dont ever order of them they dont refund your money after paying for courier back and have shown them receipts 150 worth parcel no money recieved after numerous emails

I ordered a pair of Levi jeans but had several black streaky marks across them. They looked like they had been in a very dirty warehouse for a long time. Once I realised the return procedure with House of Fraser, I decided to see if the marks washed out. Too return, I would of had to have paid again and then hoped I’d get money back. Too much hassle and too expensive ordering online with House of Fraser so will never order online again and definitely won’t be recommending to anyone. Not good enough sending out items with black marks all over them - very disappointing.

Zero stars. Absolutely appalling in this day and age to refuse to refund a product purchased and returned within 48 hours, still in the packaging and with receipt. I will never shop there again and will advise anyone to avoid it entirely. Imagine, if M&S had this behaviour - I'm sure they'd be out of business or inundated with complaints. They cannot and should not be allowed to state "We are the leading, national premium department store group in the UK and Ireland" - absolute rubbish.

Ordered bikini received email saying top was out of stock. Tried everything to contact them to say “don’t bother dispatching the bottoms as I had ordered top and bottom I asked they give full refund of my order incl the £4.99 delivery charge”. 2 days later got email saying the bottoms had been despatched haven’t collected the order so let’s see what happens. Didn’t either have the decency to reply to my email, will NEVER order from House of Fraser again

Ordered boots from them paid extra for next day and they used the worst carrier in the UK who never actually delivered. Then advised that they had to open an investigation before they could even dream of a refunding me. The worst customer experience I have had for a long time

Very disappointed with the lack of choice, it seems they offer an abundance of joggers, sweatshirts and t-shirts nowadays, ladies wear doesn't seem to exist in there anymore.

Placed my first order and was expecting a good quality service, I paid for next day delivery and my item was due to be delivered by Sunday. I got a message at 10.10 am saying they attempted delivery and was unable to deliver my parcel??? That they don't know is I've got CCTV all around my property and no one attempted delivery 😡 so I contacted house of frazer and they said if it doesn't arrive in a week then contact them again. 😡 I feel when you pay for a service you expect to receive that service, you wouldn't go out for a meal pay for eat then eat it next week! Its now Wednesday and still no delivery ive tried contacting the delivery company and they say contacted house of frazer 😡. I definitely won't be shopping with them again or recommending them to my friends and family

Absolutely disgusting customer service from house of Fraser. Don’t like taking constructive criticism nor do they provide any help. I ordered a bag in January and opened it in March as I was on holiday. It had no dustbag and upon emailing them they kept repeating it had been more than 28 days and to essentially drop it. I have contacted both H&M and Zara in the past with the same sort of situation, returning unopened items after two or three months due to me studying abroad and returning home later than the return period and they both handled it with respect and ease. But house of Fraser offered no help whatsoever and did nothing to rectify the situation. Even on their live chats would not direct me to complaints or relevant departments they just told me they couldn’t do anything and ignored me. Highly disappointing. Avoid avoid avoid!

Avoid at all cost!!!Poor service and zero customer respect.You send me OUD BLANC instead of this Patcoulli Blanc ,charged me 8.99£ For a delivery,delivered my order in 2 parts (both left with neighbours),first part wrong parfume,despite your confirmation I will receive the right one !House of Fraser declined to refund me the delivery cost and made me pay for the return of completely wrong product they sent

We visited House of Fraser in Birmingham last Sunday. The store was under-stocked and looking quite sad and was deserted. On a cold day they had the air-conditioning on full blast and it was freezing, we had to go outside to warm up! seems such a waste of money and energy.

Be warned: they don't refund your money. I've been waiting since 1/28 for refund and am still told they are looking for my return in warehouse! I`ve made return correctly and I have tracking: they have received my parcel, but is lost in warehouse !! HOF40000069673363

How customer svc the worst i ever encounter. Accused me of lying when i said free postage code didnt work that they gave when they mistakenly cancelled part of my order so i ended up paying 2x £5 for p&p. They don’t give your money back & they dont answer phone calls. Very rude emails from Sian. I wanted to escalate to complaints team but Sian said it wont be done. Y=Who the hell does this person think they are, may Sian is the owner of HoF or may Sian is GOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
