“8m x 8m marquee PVC 750.
I purchased an 8m x 8m marquee in December for personal use. It arrived in 9 boxes on time as specified, which I stored away in my garage as I actually needed to use in July and the boxes were too heavy.for me to check for each items and trusted that house of tents would have shipped the exact full order. Nevertheless I decided to erect the marquee in May for my grand daughters birthday party and it came to light that I had 1 base connecter missing which meant I could not put the base on at the front of the marquee. It did not matter to me much as I was going to leave the front open so erected the marquee which was a lovely product and also loved by all family and friends in attendance.
I sent an email to the sales supervisor who had initially dealt with my order by the name of Igor who was wonderful and very very helpful, he did state that it was my responsibility to check the contents of the order within 14 days of delivery so that any missing items or issues can be resolved. I sent an email explaining the reason for not checking contents until last week and re. "The missing piece." Igor replied back that all issues must be addressed within 14 days of delivery, but as a gesture of goodwill that he and house of tents would be sending me the missing part. This is what I call amazing aftersales and customer service by the company and the staff. I will certainly be ordering from them again should I require any other items and have also recommended to all my friends and family.
Only 1 negative point. I ordered some bags for storage of my marquee in April and the the wrong bags turned up as i found out when i opened the box to put away mmy marquee and my marquees canvas never fitted in the any of the 3 square bags provided. I think they did not send the larger square bag as upon checking the picture there should have been 4 square bags with 1 a bit larger but not received.
But once again a great company to do business with, Great customer service and most importantly great aftersales and highly recommended.

“Efficient and safe delivery. The quality of the product is very good. Although I do have a small dent and some light scratches, they're minor and manageable.
The Gazebo (3 x 3.6 m) we bought is massive, easy to assemble. I mostly do it on my own, just with help in erecting up the posts and fixing the screws of the top panels. The only difficult part is the fitting of the top panels as you need to constantly adjust the frame structure to allow the panels a proper snug into place. Luckily I read many reviews before and I didn't tighten all the screws of the frame, allowing me to constantly change the framework to accommodate the roof panels. Screwing the top nut cap is difficult and you need a helping hand holding the bolt from below so that you can tighten them above. Aligning the panels and holes took me 2 hours.
The baseplate is hollow which could be better with thicker material, the posts just sit on the baseplate with 2 screws to tighten, which I think it would be better if there's a sleeve on the baseplate for the post to suck into. Maybe it's by design but That's my 2 cents.
I didn't use the provided expansion bolts on my Indian stone, which probably will be a nightmare down the line. I use resin anchor with 200 mm stainless steel M10 rods, 3 or 4 rods per leg, depending on whether it's too close to the edge of my stones. It's rock solid now on the stone deep into the MOT and without any tension to the stone.”

setup was pretty straightforward and didnt take too long, everything just kinda made sense as we went. once its up it looks really nice and feels stable which i wasnt even expecting tbh
fits my car perfectly with a bit of extra space too which is super convenient. been using it daily and its doing exactly what i needed 👍”

“House Of Tents are absolutely Amazing
We have been searching for a clean, decent and sturdy Gazeebo or Marquee. As we had previously purchased 9m x 3m gazeebos in the past and tide them together, was not an option. forward thinking we knew we have 4 or 5 functions during the summer, we looked at renting a Marquee but financially this wasn't cost effective. searching online we came across House Of Tents, whom unlike a lot of other organisations i was able to call up and have a clear concise and succinct conversation with a member of staff at House Of Tents, whom reminded me if i choose to purchase i should add the discount code.
We decided it would be in our best interest to purchase, whilst doing so i added the discount code but noticed it had not been added. my purchase went through and i was notified of the delivery date and time slot allotted, the date and time was adhered too by the courier company, the driver very helpful and accomodating too.
I emailed House Of Tents and notified them my 10% discount had not been added and without quibble House Of Tents refunded my discount and kept me fully informed throughout.
My journey with House Of Tents from start to finish has been seamless and a great pleasure when speaking to them on the phone too.

“honestly this pop up gazebo is kinda a lifesaver lol
i got it for a small garden get together and didnt expect much but it actually turned out rlly good!! setup was way easier than i thought, like it literally just pops up (okay not instantly but still pretty quick 😂). did most of it myself which says a lot
it looks nice too, not cheap-looking or anything. gave the whole setup a bit of a “proper event” vibe which i loved
overall super happy with it!! would def use it again for bbq’s or parties, worth it for sure!!”
“I bought the 3.3x6.0m Carport Tent / Portable Garage to use as a field shelter. It's been up for a year and was left up.all winter. It's coped with the storms much better than I expected. I put it together with a friend without too much trouble. One corner pole was damaged recently and house of tents costumer service was helpful and they are sending me a replacement. Very happy with the shelter and the service received.”

Having purchased a marquee from house of tents a couple of years ago and been extremely pleased with the product. I found myself in need of their expertise once again. Speaking to one of their representatives (Igor) today - he could not have been more helpful. I am always impressed by how professionally and quickly they are able to identify me and the products that I have purchased. This is confidence inspiring from a customer perspective. I would happily leave a five star review just for the quality of the products but the service deserves another five stars in it's self! As a guy in his mid 50's - I find being able to use the phone and speak directly to someone at the company and absolute bonus. In this e commerce world in which we live - a lot of companies do not even publish telephone numbers on their web sites.
This fact alone is very very welcome.

“okay so i wasnt expecting much but this marquee actually surprised me
first of all, super easy to set up. like im not the most handy person lol but me and my friend got it up in maybe 30-40 mins??
used it for my birthday party and it held up really well!! we had a bit of wind and i was lowkey worried it would fly away but nope, stayed put the whole time
overall im really happy with it, def worth the price and did exactly what i needed. would buy again for sure!!”
“Had my gazebo delivered on the day as promised it was very well packed no damage delivered by DX express most impressed with the delivery he couldn't do a enough for me .It my son about six hours to erect the gazebo , nice and strong 💪 can't complain about the quality . I had to phone house of tents a couple of times because I couldn't find some fittings they assured they were there and they were silly me. House of tents were very helpful and polite had no issues with them at all .”
