Saturday 16th February Place a £42.40 order Receive order one hour later. Open order to find food greasy, cold and layers of oil over the curry with wilted salad. 10 mins later Get in car and return the entire order. Informed by the restaurant that they will cannot issue refund but will contact Deliveroo and we will be refunded in the week. Sunday 24th - 1 week later. No refund so contact Deliveroo directly. ‘Chyril’ on Deliveroos instant messenger customer services informs me : “Because your claim was issued more than 48 hours later we can’t offer you a refund or any additional credit - but we will be sure to take your feedback on board” This is TOTALLY unacceptable. I did not eat the food. The food was inedible. We returned the food and was informed by the restaurant a refund would be provided. Why would I contact Deliveroo? I am unwilling to accept that I am down £42 when returned the product I paid for within half an hour! Horrendous customer service which I will be taking further and most definitely never ordering from Deliveroo again.

Lately this app has been a nightmare.. Usually down to the drivers being unable to find my location(not difficult) then claiming the order is cancelled without even calling me.. The latest one was to tell me id received my food 8 minutes early but it hadn't arrived.. Was offered a new order taking the same length of time to deliver or a refund which isn't much good at 10pm.. Get it together :(

If only 0 was an option! Don’t ever order with deliveroo if the restaurants are always ruining your orders because no one is ever willing to accept liability or fault over silly mistakes not in your control.. I made an order on 20/02/2019 with thirtynine desserts. We ordered a Nutella waffle, sorbet sundae, chocolate brownie and a artistian cake slice we also payed extra money for soft serve ice cream (it wasn’t free) and Italian cream Gelato, both ice creams were missing, the waffle was cold and the strawberries were off so unacceptable when speaking to someone through their chat called ‘Michael J’ he was extremely rude and told me that he wasn’t able to do anything even after I explained that the ice creams weren’t free!! then before I could say anything ended the chat abruptly... I’ve since cancelled my monthly subscription and I’ve also deactivated my deliveroo account best decision ever will be going else where to order my food if this is how they treat loyal customers how disgraceful wouldn’t recommend to anyone also told my family not to use them due to this incident.

Appalling customer service. latest order I received was someone else's order, half the value of my order and the delivery guy drove off and told me to call the restaurant, called the restaurant and they took no responsibility as they were closing and told me to contact deliveroo who took no responsibility and offered me a £2.50 credit! Will never use again, would not recommend.

Overpriced and underhand Add a surcharge for 'service' at the end of the ordering process. Customer service appears staffed by bots, or people who simply don't read the complaints they are replying to. Pick up your takeaway yourself if you can, and save £6 (inc. tip).

Out of pocket with a bad order. Restaurant is not answering their phone and Deliveroo have done nothing to help other than keep me on the phone for 30 minutes.

Horrific customer service! There was a problem with their website last night in London which told me that that my order hadn’t gone through. I therefore then ordered directly with a restaurant locally. Turned out my order had gone through and they charged me for it! The customer services team now refuse to refund me although I have always been a loyal deliveroo customer. Will never use them again. They are beyond unethical.

0 stars... Absolute time wasters, I feel sorry for the restaurant I ordered via deliveroo tonight. Says 30 mins delivery time and an hour and a half later still nothing! I rang the restaurant to see what the hold up actually was as the app didn't tell me. The truth was there was no drivers to collect the food they already cooked on time so it would of been freezing cold! Deliveroo customer service wasn't that helpful as it was 10pm and my family had already eaten without me... I told them I wanted a full refund as I've gone without dinner tonight. They cancelled the order completely and credited 5 pounds. I said what is 5 pounds going to do? There's an expensive 5 pound delivery fee so that gives me nothing and won't be using the service again... Absolute joke!

It would be -5 If I could give it. Non existent customer service. Food was cold driver said I had to call deliveroo. The claim they can only give feedback to restaurant. I called the restaurant who tell me they are obliged to give me a full refund. Call them again spoke to a manager would only give the location as off shore! They weren't interested/couldn't give a t*ss as the order on time.

I should give 0 but is not existing. I order a waffle and I was waiting for my order at the window. The live notifications showed me that the driver arrived but I couldn't see him. I tried to call the provided number and was not going. After sometime I saw on live map notification that my order was delivered to me while I was still witing my order. I called customer service and said that they couldn't reach me and the driver left, however, the notifications showed that the order delivered tome.....LIES ..BIG LIED. Nobody ever called me or ring my bell or send an email to me. I told to the lady about that and she was laughing...imagine real laughing...And also couldn't speak English at all... I told her maybe the driver did that to eat my order, I didn't know, They charged me 12 pounds and really I will never order from them again, please please please avoid them like a plague...They are very bad guys and inconvenience service.

I am utterly disgusted that you conduct business in this way. Several times I have ordered and each time I am on edge as to whether my food is going to turn up. You promote prompt delivery... talk about false advertising. It's like going to a Beyonce concert and Britney Spears showing up. When the food has been ready for 1 hour and a driver does not accept the order and your food turns up cold, you offer credit or a refund, sorry that's not good enough, simply turning up or apologising and redoing the food so it's at least warm would be a start. You make me sick. Sort yourselves out.

Worst service I have ever seen. I ordered food and I end up waiting about an hour for the rider to be signed. They claimed it was a busy area for orders and I wonder how other customers are served if I have given a priority to assign a rider and took an hour to find one. Second time again same issue there was no rider to assign and after one and a half hour the order is cancelled because there were no rider. Why do they take orders if they do not have enough riders. I am not sure how they are planning to survive with this kind of services. I would NOT recommend at all to use this service and I beleive restaurants also should not use this as this kind of service will effect their reputation.

Food had not arrived after one hour although order was marked 'complete '. I was offered more food in an hour or a refund to my account (with no compensation). Um...no. I asked for a refund to my card which was done- why was this by offered first? Cheeky

*BEWARE* I used deliveroo a couple of times over 2 months to order food, can't fault the food or the speedy delivery however...YOUR ACCOUNT CAN BE HIJACKED. I found within 40 mins my bank had sent me a text to inform me of a payment made to deliveroo, when i logged onto my account I had found someone had changed the delivery addresses twice and mobile twice and ordered from 2 restaurants all totally to the value of £87 worth, 1st thing I did was delete my card details and than proceeded to ring deliveroo up they told me that the orders can't be cancelled and the money had already been through transaction and both food orders had been marked as collected by the thief and if I require a refund from my account being hacked into that I had to email them, which I did but I also rang my bank whp unfortunately said they can't refund me it was down to deliveroo after 3 days of emailing them they finally agreed to refund me but to wait 3-10 days for the money to be refunded into my bank... 8 weeks later still nothing! I would like to point out deliveroo told me that I was at fault for my account being hacked by using my email and same password as other accounts I had apparently are using online listing.. MySpace imesh and a few other sites I never heard of...now bear in my the email I used on their site was 3 months old so was new and the password I used is different to every email and every account or website I join up to (I keep all passwords to accounts written down in a diary) and the websites they had listed my email was on was infact a complete big fat LIE...my point is they are complete and utter liers and will worm themselves out at being at fault which mean they would be prosecuted! I would also like to point out there is proof that deliveroo accounts are being sold on the dark web market place for £10 (noted the seller mentions he has access to hundreds of active accounts with victims card details stored on them) with intructions to who ever buys an account how to get their moneys worth from the accounts and to use local business or shop addresses local to them to pick up the stolen food orders to avoid being caught. It seems someone within deliveroo has access to people's accounts (email and pw) and are selling them the dark web and not from deliveroo customers being hacked from "using the same email and password" from other websites. Please AVOID USING them, the fact you can order food without the cvv (3 digit) pin at the back of your card to order food says it all that the company isn't safe to use and only takes myself and other victims to fall deep into being scammed out of money from thieves working within the company.

I do not recommend deliveroo. We ordered 3 times and always had bad experiences. Missing food, late delivery, etc. I just delete the app. Good bye, forever!

we ordered two boxes of food, the top one was completely open, cold and messed up. Their CS team couldn’t care less. Never again

by far the worst service door to door in London, shocking delivery times and thats when the food actually even turns up..... which isnt always , drivers are rude, and dont even bother calling their customer service as these are the fools who couldnt get a job at KFC.. you get the point i hope
