I do not recommend deliveroo. We ordered 3 times and always had bad experiences. Missing food, late delivery, etc. I just delete the app. Good bye, forever!

we ordered two boxes of food, the top one was completely open, cold and messed up. Their CS team couldn’t care less. Never again

by far the worst service door to door in London, shocking delivery times and thats when the food actually even turns up..... which isnt always , drivers are rude, and dont even bother calling their customer service as these are the fools who couldnt get a job at KFC.. you get the point i hope

I have been using Deliveroo for over a year and rarely had a problem ordering food mainly in the City of Lodon (at a fairly central location). On 24 Dec 2018 however, I received three suspicious emails in quick succession from Deliveroo, one informing me that my delivery address had been amended, the next email saying my phone number had been updated and the third email saying my email address had been updated, all within 5/6 minutes. I was on my laptop so immediately knew someone had breached account security and was using my account to order food. Within 2 minutes I checked my Credit Card (details were saved with Deliveroo) statement and knew I had been charged 28 pounds for a food order. I immediately cancelled my credit card and called Deliveroo, who responded by email asking me for further information. Although I responded to Deliveroo within 10 minutes, there has been no response from management since. I was looking for a refund of the 28 pounds I lost because of poor site secuirty protocols, but that is the lesser issue here. The fact that the Deliveroo website would allow a user to make chnages to all three details (address number and email address) and still use a saved card / payment method is extremely dangerous. It is a serious system design issue and needs to be adressed asap. But since management is completely unresponsive I decided to leave a review online! Rest assured there is no customer service as such. Pls do not save any card details on Deliveroo.

terrible. rider never turned up then online in the account - which we were wathcing - claimed he'd arrived early, which set off alarm bell. we call the service line straight away. they were almost incomprehensible but couldnt do anything or contact the rider. utterly pointless. lets see if we ever get a refund. what a scam.

Serious warning: do NOT entrust Deliveroo with your precious bank details! I would very strongly encourage people to write to the UK Trading Standards. Or even to your MPs. This is a Rogue organization and should not be allowed to operate in this country. Our Deliveroo account was hacked and orders were placed by criminals to the tune of 100£. At unacceptable length, Deliveroo eventually clarified what had gone wrong: the 3D-Secure Verified by Visa page on the Deliveroo website has been breached (if indeed this is the real reason for Deliveroo allowing criminals access to our money). Deliveroo will not take any responsibility for this and tells us it is out of their hands, and to contact our bank, it is an utterly unethical stance. We entrusted our bank details to Deliveroo. It is up to Deliveroo to ensure that its relationship with the Visa is in good order, and that customers may safely entrust Deliveroo with their bank details. Deliveroo cannot be trusted with your bank details - be very careful! Now we must spend hours, DAYS of our time repairing the damage and reclaiming our funds. The Customer Service Center (based, I believe, in the Philippines) has been so unhelpful that we could weep. We have wasted so much time, hours and hours, on this organization that rakes in inordinate profits, or has done so historically, while their customers are treated with utter lack of care, disdain even. I cannot imagine Deliveroo will be around for much longer, but I would like my 100£ back and compensation for my time. UK Trading Standards may be found easily online if you wish to write to them. Otherwise phone them on: 03454 04 05 06 This organization cannot continue to get away with the abysmal level of service it has been providing.

40 minutes after the meal was supposed to be here, I receive a voicemail message to say that the driver is outside - when I get out there, they have driven off with our dinner without even ringing the doorbell and although I called them straight back, he was apparently far to far away to bring it back to us. Initially we were told this was our fault, we had lost the food and would still have to pay the full price. After my predictable response, we ended up with a refund. We won't be ruining any further evenings with deliveroo.

When my food arrived the two sides had spilled from their boxes en route. When I opened the door the delivery driver was putting them (chicken wings and a salad) back into their boxes. The pizza that I ordered was stone cold. I binned the sides (didn't fancy eating chicken and salad that had been tumbling around in the driver's bag and then handled by the driver). I ate the cold pizza because there was no other food in the house. After three e-mails back and forth to deliveroo, they gave me a refund for half of the price of the e-mail. It seems to me that any company who valued their customers would offer a full refund for such a mess. Won't ever be using them again.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen in Notting Hill, ordered portion on chunky skin on fries. Nine minutes late on delivery, half the size of portion from other GBK, lot's of little crispy bits of potato. Terrible restaurant, will not use again.

Awful customer service! Food delayed for 50 min. Have spoken to 3 reps from a customer service with no propoper skills to handle enquiry. Very bad!

If you are thinking of using deliveroo I would strongly reconsider, I placed a Order at 9:30pm last night and the order turned up at the wrong address at midnight, I had to drive to the wrong address and pick up my cold food. I made 7 phone calls to make sure it came to the right Address, deliveroo customer service agent didn’t even call the restaurant to change it to correct address after me asking her to reassure me it would be ok and she confirmed it would. They call refunding me for this shocking service a good will gesture 😂😂. I then asked for compensation and I was offered £5 credit..... what a insult.

Everything went wrong. Waited more than 1 hour extra for food and driver could not be allocated. Then driver could not follow simple address instructions. When food finally arrived it was cold.

Horrible company, I just read the below reviews and I can see I’m not the only one. AVIOD deliveroo. Basically my order got really cold and items missing as well due to rude driver, as he insisted to my concierge to go to wrong address but in our building security only I can open the main door when some one wants to get in, I did open the door but then driver didn’t come upstairs due to argument with concierge and he insisted to go to wrong flat, in the end he said to concierge if I want my food I had to come down. Eventually I went down and he insisted again that address was different I tried to show him that on my account address is correct, he was very rude and said he was about to leave with delivering food anyways. On top of that when I came upstairs to have food, items were missing and food got cold as well so couldn’t enjoy the food at all. Worst experience. Customer service didn’t do anything, I had to explain my self again n again. Worst company ever. Never gona but from them ever.

Our order arrived completely cold!!! We needed to heat it up in the oven!!! We won't use Deliveroo service any more!!! Very Very disappointed customers!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

I have never received an order on time, hot/warm and fully in tact, there always seems to be a problem. When you complain about the problem they still can't seem to get it right and their customer service is appalling. I'd give zero stars if it was an option

This is the worst app and the biggest con I have seen they will take your money give you half an order and the half they give you will be stone Cold and not edible as-well as being an hour late I complained via the app and was waiting for a response after 2 days of waiting I desired to call and was told they won’t do anything as I should have called them straight away the complaint time is within 48 hours and it is now 49 hours ago my order and it did not mater that I had already complained via the app. I advise all to stay away from this app

I ordered food through this app and it was never delivered. Their website generated an incorrect address and even though I changed this online, and placed the pin on the right location on the map, this wrong address was still printed on my order - with my delivery instructions. The delivery rider hadn't a word of English and even though I answered his call and told him I was coming out to him, he left the order at the wrong door and couldn't understand me telling him he was in the wrong place or how to come to where I was. He clearly didn't understand the delivery instructions as he would have known he was in the wrong place if he had - I was in a large office building and not an apartment. I made two further attempts to contact him after he hung up, by call and text, but he just ignored me. An agent on live chat told me the rider marked my order as delivered and noted he'd left the food on a doorstep- then this agent suddenly went offline without addressing anything or even signing off. An agent on the phone told me he was very sorry about the whole thing but my only option was to leave my office and track down the missing food myself- which would have been stone cold if not picked up by someone else by then, not to mention at least a 10/15 minute walk away. He then informed me that a refund was out of the question and that he had no intention of doing anything at all for me. So Deliveroo STOLE MY MONEY and wasted lots of my time while I was at work. Never been treated so badly by a company in my life. I am absolutely disgusted. I see countless reviews here complaining of the same appalling service - definitely gonna inform the consumer protection commission. AVOID!

Terrible customer service! The driver never showed up and claimed that he did. I had a previous order delivered and doorbell worked well. When I tried calling to see what happened they said he had been there and they tried to call. Now I'm disputing my credit card and closed my account Uber Eats here I come!

Ordered food which never arrived but the driver had marked it as delivered. Customer services on Live Chat reordered the food straight away instead of giving me the option for cancellation and a refund. Rude driver called and lied saying I’d given the wrong address. An hour and a half after placing the order we received cold, congealed food from a restaurant only 2 minutes down the road.

Horrible horrible service. My deliveroo was hacked into my fraudsters who ordered food on my account using my card. They changed my email address and details so I could no longer access the account. I immediately contacted deliveroo about this, and their response was to send my forward to their 'fraud team', who asked me questions I was unable to answer as the fraudsters had changed my account details. They refused to issue me a refund on payments I didn't make and said my bank had to do it. I rang my bank who said that this was incorrect, and deliveroo had to provide me with details regarding the fraudulent order and the email address that had been changed on my account. I emailed back deliveroo but they have been since ignoring my emails and I rang them twice more with no one offering ANY help or advice. I seriously doubt that this "fraud team" even exist as they have no phone number and all correspondence from their supposed team came from the general deliveroo support email. Weeks on and I am still yet to get my refund from them or hear ANYTHING about my case, I don't know who has access to my personal details now, as deliveroo have failed to protect my data and my account. I am appalled that they would treat a frequent customer in this way. BE CAREFUL when ordering with this awful company, don't trust them to protect your data or your account and don't trust that they will help you. They have made no effort to refund me or to compensate me for the appalling service I have received. I will never be using deliveroo again.
