“Always late always cold, rude drivers, I won't order again”

“If I could give No stars, I would. After putting in my current address, it reverted back to my old address once I ordered. I was unable to change delivery address or contact the driver as the app won't allow it. I finally got a hold of driver and said he can't be bothered to drive 5 mins my way so he got to have my food while I still got charged. Deliveroo help service were of no help and disrespectful, continuing to talk over me. Worst service ever”

“Legit garbage. First time using Deliveroo. Ordered from a restaurant - nobody to deliver. Restaurant contacted us to apologise and offer solution. Not their fault though really is it. Deliveroo unable or unwilling to assist them. Then, difficult to use app chat - first attendant ditched me, presumably because I took too long (~60 seconds) to type my message. So then had to repeat to another poor person - praise be for screenshot function. Cheers to the person who sorted our refund promptly though. Disgusting, not fit for purpose, avoid.”

“Never again would I ever use this service over 1hr 10 mins for food. Food turned up stone cold. Only went 2 miles up the road next time I wont be so lazy. Joke of a service!!!!!!”

“I got gastritis (possibly bacterial) after ordering food through them and they weren't remotely apologetic. I understand they don't make the food but they shouldn't give a platform to people who quite evidently can't make safe food. They really need to quality control their operations more - Ive been going to the Dr's for two months now for treatment.”

“Really bad customer service. I have ordered food from Peri fino In BirmIngham. They cancelled my order because they couldn't call me. (I did not recieve any calls) and I accidentally put down the address next door which I did call up the restaurant for. so I had to ring up deliveroo customer service, they didn't want to my compensate me my money back. Didn't get my food and lost £30. Highly don't recommend deliveroo. I say stick with ubereats.”

“This delivery service is absolutely shocking. I placed my order in advance at 6pm for 8:30pm and have yet waited over one hour and a half for the food. The restaurant had then called me half hour after my delivery time saying that 2 things off my order was out of stock and if I was to have a refund it wasn’t their issue and they don’t care. The manager was absolutely disgusting and didn’t care, told me to never use Deliveroo and only use Just eat. Will never be ordering again from deliveroo or little dessert shop.”

“They are charging £3.50 for delivery that is 0.8 miles away from me! And service fee on top! Fees are too high it's becoming a scam. They already raise the menu price from the original restautant menu price. Shame on them. I'm not ordering with them ever again. There are better alternatives”

“First time using this service, was handed the pizza the driver starts to go I said excuse me there should also be a drink of fanta with this he starts to get agitated and tells me to just ring the restaurant pizza was stone cold and bashed about. This was the worst service also can only get credit for the drink no refund no nothing very patronising when you talk to them. Go with any other delivery service.”

“If I could leave no stars, I would. Just had a wrong order delivered. Had to ring up the helpline to be told that they could give me credit but they cannot redeliver. Had to shout at the helpline to get a refund, and I still have to pay for the delivery charge. Deliveroo was great when they first started. Not anymore. Shall be disabling the count.”

“New to Deliveroo and I wont be using them again. Ordered kfc and my order was missing several items. My sons meal didnt turn up!called kfc and the manager said "not my problem, you didnt order through us! I want a refund on my missing items, I will be taking this matter further!!!!”

“They didn’t deliver food and said they had: delivered, when they hadn’t, phoned when they hadn’t; waited for a response for 20 minutes when they hadn’t. Had to be pressed to refund and provided a paltry £5 compensation. Here’s hoping that they deliver the refund and compensation, but not holding my breath. Simply dreadful.”

“After waiting 2 hours and 30mins for… After waiting 2 hours and 30mins for deliveroo to deliver a takeaway which is less than an 8 minute drive then turn up with the wrong order the driver then got very argumentative and started to use threatening behaviour which then scared my Young children. I rang deliveroo to the be told that nothing would be done and have to wait 72 hours for a refund only when telling them that the call was recorded the manger then changed his attitude towards us but still no dinner and no refund”
