“An absolutely awful company. Their business practices are an absolute disgrace.
When I paid £30.00 over the telephone to transfer my new dog into my name from a previous owner, Identibase did not tell me that the fee would be autorenewed every year, or that they had kept my card details on file. Both of these acts were without my specific permission or consent.
Nor did they refer me to their terms and conditions that state they will autorenew the fee every year.
I feel very unsafe knowing that my dig has an Identibase chip in her, as I feel I will be "blacklisted" if she goes missing for no other reason than I have complained about their shoddy business practices. To be fair Identibase say they have now cancelled the autorenewal, and say they have deleted my card details, but only after complaining in an email and on the phone to them.
Identibase should be ashamed of how they conduct their business dealings.”
“Adopted a surrendered cat from an organisation. Her previous owner had passed away and her family surrendered the cat.
She's chipped but I cannot get the chip updated with my details. Even the cat charity I got her from couldn't. Identibase want the previous owners consent? Erm, that'll be a bit difficult.
They don't answer emails or the phone, both me and the cat rescue have tried for over 2onths to sort this. I can't re register online it takes me on a loop.
My lovely little pet is still registered to a passed on lady in another town over 30 miles away. I'm even thinking of getting her chipped with Petlog chip. And why they need a subscription is beyond me.”

“£30 per year is just too much so i tried to cancel it within 2 weeks but it is nor possible on the website nor contacting support. They don't respond to my email nor answering phone calls. So I decided to contact my credit company to block them and it was the right decision. A year later, they sent me a email saying they can't charge my card!! They still keep sending the same automated email despite of my response. There are much cheaper and proper companies for this . I don't understand why this company has good reviews on "Trustpilot"”
