“I am writing to express my continued frustration regarding the lack of service and communication from your Knysna branch. As previously mentioned, we submitted our computer for repairs on March 6, and to date—nearly two months later—we are still without our device.
What I find most unacceptable is that I have had to initiate every single follow-up myself. Not once have I received a proactive update from your team. Each time I call, I am met with excuses: the technician is on holiday, the manager is unavailable or also on leave, and no one seems willing to take responsibility or provide a clear update.
Yesterday (29 April), I spoke to Mandy, who took my details but was abrupt and dismissive. While I understand that staff may be under pressure, I did not appreciate her tone or the lack of accountability. As a paying customer, I believe I am entitled to professional, courteous service—especially after paying R2,599 for a part that has yet to resolve the issue.
At this stage, I requested the immediate return of our computer. I will handle the matter independently going forward, regardless of the cost. I will never recommend Incredible Connection again—particularly the Knysna branch.
This level of service is completely unacceptable, especially when someone's business relies on functioning equipment.”

Then suddenly it was picked up and has now been at the courier for 4 days. My complaint was logged and I was promised a call within 24 hours. No call to date. Feel like I've been scammed! “I bought a MacBook from Incredible Connection with a promised delivery window of 2–5 working days. The purchase itself was smooth — no complaints there.
But the delivery (via Amarex) was a disaster. Despite tracking clearly showing it wouldn’t arrive on time, I reached out multiple times to both companies with no urgency or proper feedback from either. The item was supposed to be delivered by Wednesday, and I had critical deadlines based on that. No one took responsibility or even tried to assist meaningfully.

“Firstly, the young man who helped me at IC Mall of Africa was incredible. Much appreciated. However, the pay station is a shambles of note, truly a mess! Plus, during a busy Friday, that's when it's decided to train new people. Absolutely crazy. I asked for a simple favour as my 80-year-old mother was standing with nowhere to sit, in that could I pay for my 1 in cartridge of ink so I could get her to the car. The manager, Tholoqi (wears a black t-shirt)--the name I was given, was completely adamant that NO as there was a line which as I'm not blind I could see, hence why I was asking for a favour for an elderly person. I took not even 2 minutes to pay when after 15 minutes of standing, it was my turn. She couldn't be bothered, and I said to her that I hoped she or someone elderly in her family wouldn't need such a simple favour one day and be told no! She then practically shouts in-store that she prays it never happens to her! Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a 'manager' in front of staff and customers. IC, you need to do some work on who you employ to represent your company. Abhorrent, and I'll never set foot there again.”
“My experience is just that I keep getter their customers updates on those who applied for credit with them, I get their account numbers with their names and surnames which really expose customers to potential fraud. I notified Incredible of this but it seems they are not interested in sorting it out let alone that it is in violation of the POPIA.”
“I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint against Incredible Connection regarding an order I placed on February 7th for a 3-piece set of suitcases—a high-value purchase I made specifically for my upcoming travels on February 20th. I assumed that placing my order almost two weeks in advance would allow more than enough time for delivery. However, the experience I have had with your company has been nothing short of frustrating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.
Instead of receiving the full 3-piece set I paid for, I was delivered only one suitcase, which is worth less than half of what I originally paid. Naturally, I attempted to log a query immediately upon delivery, expecting prompt assistance to resolve this mistake. I was assured that a complaint had been logged on my behalf and that I would receive feedback within 24 hours.
However, after receiving no communication whatsoever, I contacted customer service again—only to find out that my query had never been logged in the first place! Instead, I was told that it would now be logged at that point. Why was I misled about this from the start?
Following this, I was asked to provide photos of the incorrect product, which I did immediately. Despite my prompt response, it then took another four days for me to receive any further communication. I was eventually informed that the incorrect order would be collected yesterday, but, as expected, this did not happen—further delaying the process and adding unnecessary frustration.
When I inquired with Modjadji Maimela about whether I could return the incorrect order myself to the warehouse and collect the correct one, I received insufficient and vague information. No apology has ever been expressed to me for this complete failure of service.
This is beyond unacceptable. I demand to be put in direct contact with a senior representative from Incredible Connection who is actually capable of resolving this matter. I must receive my correct order by today—NO EXCEPTIONS. Given the amount of money I have spent, I refuse to tolerate any further delays, poor communication, or incompetence.
I expect an urgent resolution, or I will have no choice but to escalate this further.”
“The sloppiest, shoddiest address verification that ever existed. The fields require data that do not exist in certain places (George being an example). Some addresses do not have street number there.
The app won't accept this, even though Google picks up the location correctly.

“I ordered an item to the value of R5999.00 a week ago. I realise that it takes 2-5 working days to deliver. However, the online site says the parcel was collected by the courier on the 9th of December 2024, and there had been no update since. I gave tried to phone Incredible connection on the number provided but there is no response...just endless music playing and a recording noting explanation they are very busy. I have sent an email, no reply received. I have read the reviews before me (latest ones) and I see this is an ongoing pattern with this complany...no deliveries after payment was received. This is theft!! As a result, I am very very worried ! “Incredible connection Mall of africa, sales person guided me to buy a laptop too high spec for my needs. I went back and changed it for a unit more suitable on that visit, the service again was so bad. They DID NOT inform me i needed a warranty certificate. I learned that at another store then had to go back a 3rd time and ask. Staff are literally dancing to the loud music. They are clueless on their products. Tried to sell me a stylus. I get home and my LT came with a stylus. Really, shocking experience at club incredible connection. Thats if the y get off staring at their cell phones and dancing long enough to assist.
