“Had my device transferred from on car to another. The device isn’t working and I got stranded three hours from home. I called customer service multiple times the yelled at me hung up on me told me it was my fault. 6 hours later I was willing to pay the only place open on the weekend he said it would cost me 340$ just for him to look at. I finally got a tow truck and the man canceled on me after I was already on the tow and on my way to his location. I had to tow it to a closed location. I had to rent a hotel for two days until Monday. Let me tell you that the original switch from my old car to my new car cost 400$ after Al the fees they tac on and I will be out more than 1000$ when I get this fixed. Their customer service is the cheapest outsourced to only people who second language is English. This is like a hostage situation because every time I try and get to someone who can provide a work order for removal no one answer the phone, hence hostage situation. Pick anyone else not related to this company you’ll save thousands and keep yourself out of danger especially if you are a woman. It’s as if they treat you like you are less than human for getting a dui. To top it off it appears that they deleted my online account.”

“Have a backup car charger. It got cold minus 20 so battery went dead. Failed to sync couldn’t start car. When finally someone showed up to jump start it locked me out. Waited 45 mins just to talk to someone. They have to schedule you at your service location which they failed to do 3 times. Had to pay for lockout and service recal. This company is terrible. All kinds of hidden fees and and this is second lockout, which counts a a violation which makes you have to deal With the Secretary of State. Everyone blames the other side. It’s all Intoxalock. Terrible on your cars battery.”

“I've had intoxalock for 2 months now they messed up all my paperwork still haven't got it! My lease changed from 7 months to 90 days court ordered submitted all the paperwork they said they got it! they still haven't changed my lease! And as soon as I got it installed I needed to replace the alternator and battery!”

“Intoxolock has genuinely ruined my life I've lost jobs because of their equipment malfunction. Had to wait a whole week to be able to get into the service center. They refused to fix it the last time relay went TT out and couldn't drive so couldn't work.....I'm almost homeless can't afford to get my lights or water turned on and their is nothing I can do.... And they don't tell you about the hidden costs and sketchy problems that start happening that leave you on the side of the road for no reason. This company has taken everything from me and keeps asking for more money”

“This company is the biggest joke, go anywhere else if you can. It's the only place that's close to me so I'm screwed. First you can never find the customer service number on the website, when you finally do find it, it's all automated and you can never talk to anyone. I finally called the number to get service started so someone would actually pick up, they tell me I have to pay the $75 lockout BEFORE I can even TALK to a supervisor?? The reason I was locked out, it was -20's here all week so I was told to unhook the head unit and bring it in the house overnight. When I hooked it backup, it gave me 4 days before a lockout. The unit has been messed up since it was installed and about to fall apart, and it messes up settings on your vehicle, of course when you tell them, it's the vehicles fault and not the unit...”

“I live in Minnesota, a couple days ago the temperature dropped down to -23. That morning my vehicle would not start, my wife had to bring me to work. When I arrived home that evening my vehicle started, but the intoxatock handheld stated lock out in 4 days. The next morning I had to take off work to have the handheld reset. Intoxalock charged me with a violation because of a low battery and charged me $80 dollars.”

“Worst experience ever. I got a faulty unit and instead of just bringing the unit to the service center I had to have my car towed. Intoxalock roadside assistance is a joke, they use the cheapest company available and no one even showed up. I had to hire a local company and when I got to the service center no one even looked at my car. They just had me bring the unit inside. It cost 200$ and Intoxalock won’t reimburse me.”

“Worst company ever. They treat you like a probation officer would treat you. They make your life miserable if anything should goes wrong during your time with this device. If you miss a calibration date, rather than just take the device to the shop like usual to calibrate EVERY month, you have to tow your car. Then have an inspection done and you must pay a hefty fee. They always think you are lying and you get different answers from everyone you speak with at intoxalock. When you call them, they make it extremely difficult to speak with anyone but hanging up on you if you don't hit the right sequence of numbers. WORST COMPANY OUT THERE!”

“No inter department communication. Poor communication skills( unless you understand Pakastani They report false positives without confirmation. Yeah go ahead and sign their lease on line, they will be able to draw funds directly from your account. In my case they took $75, payment was $36. The kicker is I already was cleared to get a license. Then Intoxalock informs me that my device can't be uninstalled because they can't reach my service center. WHAT?! I was on with them 2 mins. earlier. Sleep well with your conscience INTOXALOCK. If you can get past never another penny from me. Me I'm not one to sue, however if this is how you do business there are some who will. No doubt.”
