I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Intoxalock and would not recommend them. I would rate 0 stars if I could. From the start, I was told I would receive my DMV paperwork the day after installation. It has now been three days and I still haven’t received it, which means I can’t even legally drive or move forward with getting my license reinstated. That alone is unacceptable. Trying to get help has been even worse. Their automated phone system makes it nearly impossible to reach a real person, and it doesn’t even allow you to enter an extension to contact the representative who helped you. I was specifically told to reach Corey at extension 525, but there is no way to actually get through to him. I’ve also called the installation location multiple times and they still haven’t received the required paperwork either. On top of that, I was hit with additional charges on my account with zero explanation. No one can clearly tell me what these charges are for. Between the hidden fees, unexpected charges, and the fact that they charge termination fees, it feels like you’re constantly being nickel and dimed. Overall, the lack of communication, poor customer service, and billing issues make this company extremely difficult to deal with. If you’re considering going with Intoxalock, be prepared for delays, hidden costs, and a system that makes it nearly impossible to get answers when something goes wrong.

They Suck. First of all they are just in the market for getting the biggest share of customers. However they don’t spend enough on how to save customers data and keep the data vulnerable. I had called them and they kept me 2 hours waiting. Tough for them to go long way.

Intoxalock , has been cyber hacked and it’s been a week I have not been able to get my machine collaborated because the systems are down now im locked out of my vehicle , do to them not having a secure enough system. Do not go With Intoxalock. Trust me they have so many problems.

Avoid Intoxalock if you can. My device gave false readings and caused a lockout the same day it had just been calibrated. I took it to a service shop immediately, and the device had to be recalibrated again because it clearly wasn’t working correctly. The shop even sent the work order documenting the issue. Despite having proof that the device malfunctioned, Intoxalock still refused to remove the lockout charge. Charging customers for problems caused by your own faulty equipment is unacceptable and feels like a money grab. Terrible customer service and zero accountability. I would not recommend Intoxalock to anyone.

They will rarely take your phone call. And when they do, they will give you misinformation, that does not comply with your State's regulations. Then you'll have a problem , and they'll tell you they're going to have IT look into in. Then 6 months when you still have the same problem, they tell you that IT may not have gotten to it yet IT has a lot of work. I am not making that up, a supervisor actually told me that. Meaning, they must have a lot of technical issues with their devices. I'm\nGonna go ahead and spend the money to have their device.Removed and have another one put in even though I only have to have it for another three months.

Customer service is bad . It's hard to find a place that services the device and does automotive repair . I used to know if a few places but they stopped dealing with Intoxalock . I am about to loose my license because the mechanic who worked on my vehicle let my battery die

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. The equipment is garbage and you can't understand anything the customer service people say. Don't waste your time or money

I have had my driving privileges back all but of 5 months and I have been broke down three times because of the interlock device itself. This last time being the longest of the three I have had great difficulty living my life without the help of delivery people and telehealth. I am a single disabled mom. I could not get my child to school nor get myself to an appointment. Intoxalock offered no solution other than to pay for supposedly four whole payments which is $66 a piece. That is not what was on my account. No I would not recommend them to my friends family business associate or worst enemy. I don't feel like the business itself has enough since to ship their parts on time but that does not matter when they're shipping faulty equipment.

I wonder if you have been sued for the use of this instrument? I'm a passenger of someone who uses this. The mouthpiece falls off nearly every time, Driving in heavy traffic at 50 and this is an accident waiting to happen. Disgusting.

Way to expensive. Everything you could possibly need they charge way to much for it. No wiggle room. 25 for each month of data is insane. They wont work with you and they make everything harder than it needs to be. Would NEVER recommend. Having this happen was awful and this company takes advantage or you when your already in a tight spot.

I'd give them "0" stars if I could. They're horrible. You can never talk to anybody unless it's about paying a bill otherwise everything is automated. after you sign up They're much more expensive than Smart start and some of the others. Calibration is $40 every 2 months You pay for the unit you pay for installation You have to pay to have it taken out and you got to pay every 2 weeks for the unit itself just to have The stupid thing. I was locked out because they said I disconnected my unit before the car was turned off and that's not true. The car was off. The cold months of Minnesota we are allowed to disconnect the unit and bring it in the house, But the car has to be turned off. It was, and I still got locked out. So you have to bring it to the shop, They have to calibrate it again which is another $40 and unlock it which is $84 with tax. I tried to explain to them what had happened and I wanted to dispute it and they said, No, there's nothing to dispute. This was supposed to be a manager. He was an asshole! And I waited for 45 minutes just to be able to talk to him. He was a real jerk! Do not go with intoxalock You can do better with other companies. And like I said once you're signed up, that's the last time you'll talk to a human. I had to use a different phone number and act like I was looking for service. That's the only wray I could get through. They Suck!

I've had the device since October of last year I have broke down three times and then left sitting with no vehicle. I am a disabled woman who depends on the vehicle to take the child back and forth to school get to my doctor's appointments and anything else that I need for my home. Did I tell you this is the third time it's broke down and they have left me sitting

The Interlock Company has a class action suit for $2 milliion dollars. They are a horrible Company that only cares about the install, monthly payment, and uninstall. Worst Company Ever!!!! Only in it for the $$$$$ and don't provide education per each state requirements. Read my attachment. They don't care!

I wouldn’t recommend intoxalock to my worst enemy. Their customer service is horrible and extremely rude, the device will kill your cars battery requiring you to purchase a new one, also the device will malfunction for no reason leaving you stranded. Save the headache and pay the extra money to go with a different provider.

Absolutely the worst!! Anyone want to buy their equipment? I have it from mechanic lean, they will not pay removal cost, never rent for towing, equipment failure rate is ridiculous!!

I have had Intoxalock for 2.5 years and I would not recommend this company to anyone. The court gives you a few options and you should avoid this particular company. I just found out that they have been: 1) Charging me monthly for a Roadside Assistance Program that I never signed up for (I'm sure they will pull it up somewhere that I signed up but I have this with my dealership so why would I be DOUBLE PAYING FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS!?) 2) Their monthly fees are not consistent, sometimes they are more and their reasoning is not logical. 3) I have been trying to get my court removal documents processed and was promised a 1-2 day turnaround by THREE representatives, then I was charged ANOTHER monthly fee in the meantime and then they finally processed my removal. Interesting that they waited until my monthly fee was processed to send my approval letter... scam much? 4) You also have to pay an ADDITIONAL $67 dollars close out admission. Like what? I requested that they apply my monthly fee to this and have not had a response yet. I believe Intoxalock owes me some money at this time based on these items, but they will always find a reason to keep your money. Use an alternative provider so you never have to personally deal with this! I am a real member and my member ID is 1685162

I have had this in my vehicle for a long time now and dealt with intoxalock for years . This company is horrible to deal with the customer service people have no idea what they are doing . If there is an issue you have to call multiple times and talk to many different people . I was calling everyday for over a month to simply get paperwork that proves the thing was in my car they kept sending me the wrong paperwork and each one telling me that it was the right paperwork .Now I am dealing with my truck at a mechanic and you have to call to get the work authorized . I called and told them the service center I was taking it to and waited in the phone on hold for an hour . 2 days later I get a call from the mechanic saying they need a work order sent to them . The device kills your battery I have been through about 6 in the past 5 years . This company makes you feel stuck you call them multiple times and they don't properly handle the situation so you have to spend hours upon hours on the phone having to figure it out for yourself

I would give them a zero if I could. Read the other responses and you will find a litany of reasons why. Faulty installation, my problem to solve. Faulty equipment, my problem to solve. This company needs an overhaul and don’t expect any customer service representative to help you. Pathetic that they take advantage of their customers and don’t get me started on their installation practices. You would think that there would be a vetting process with a certification program to train on installation practices. Simple but nonexistent. Plan on taking days off work just to sit on hold if you sign up with them and again to solve their equipment issues with NO compensation for your time.
