I have had Intoxalock for 2.5 years and I would not recommend this company to anyone. The court gives you a few options and you should avoid this particular company. I just found out that they have been: 1) Charging me monthly for a Roadside Assistance Program that I never signed up for (I'm sure they will pull it up somewhere that I signed up but I have this with my dealership so why would I be DOUBLE PAYING FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS!?) 2) Their monthly fees are not consistent, sometimes they are more and their reasoning is not logical. 3) I have been trying to get my court removal documents processed and was promised a 1-2 day turnaround by THREE representatives, then I was charged ANOTHER monthly fee in the meantime and then they finally processed my removal. Interesting that they waited until my monthly fee was processed to send my approval letter... scam much? 4) You also have to pay an ADDITIONAL $67 dollars close out admission. Like what? I requested that they apply my monthly fee to this and have not had a response yet. I believe Intoxalock owes me some money at this time based on these items, but they will always find a reason to keep your money. Use an alternative provider so you never have to personally deal with this! I am a real member and my member ID is 1685162

I have had this in my vehicle for a long time now and dealt with intoxalock for years . This company is horrible to deal with the customer service people have no idea what they are doing . If there is an issue you have to call multiple times and talk to many different people . I was calling everyday for over a month to simply get paperwork that proves the thing was in my car they kept sending me the wrong paperwork and each one telling me that it was the right paperwork .Now I am dealing with my truck at a mechanic and you have to call to get the work authorized . I called and told them the service center I was taking it to and waited in the phone on hold for an hour . 2 days later I get a call from the mechanic saying they need a work order sent to them . The device kills your battery I have been through about 6 in the past 5 years . This company makes you feel stuck you call them multiple times and they don't properly handle the situation so you have to spend hours upon hours on the phone having to figure it out for yourself

I would give them a zero if I could. Read the other responses and you will find a litany of reasons why. Faulty installation, my problem to solve. Faulty equipment, my problem to solve. This company needs an overhaul and don’t expect any customer service representative to help you. Pathetic that they take advantage of their customers and don’t get me started on their installation practices. You would think that there would be a vetting process with a certification program to train on installation practices. Simple but nonexistent. Plan on taking days off work just to sit on hold if you sign up with them and again to solve their equipment issues with NO compensation for your time.

Absolutely horrible! The devices are complete garbage and malfunction constantly, I’ve had to replace the device 3 times so far and customer service is the worst! You can barely understand them and not a single one of them know how to do anything and just tell you to try the same things over and over again even though it doesn’t work! I have to miss work every time this happens and it’s costing me time and money to get it fixed and with zero compensation for their faulty equipment, it’s my problem not theirs

They suck!!! You will get hit with charges if you dont monitor your account and their equipment will malfunction and you will be responsible for all fees even if you are not at fault

This is the worst possible company. Device malfunctions constantly, kills your battery every other day, customer service is nonexistant, they lie to you about everything, stay FAR FAR AWAY from this company.

The device is horrible. They won’t tell you how the device works until it’s installed and I wasted almost $600 getting it installed and uninstalled because of it. You have breathe out for 2 beeps, breathe in for 2 beeps, then breathe out for however many beeps it feels like having. It’s extremely sensitive and will constantly tell you to blow harder if you make the faintest move (sometimes not even that). It will stop your car in mid-drive. Despite not signing a lease and only having the device for less than 24 hours, they refused to refund my start-up and a “closing fee” which sounds completely illegal. Do not go with this company. I switched to LifeSafer and it’s much easier AND cheaper.

Worst company ever!! Had a battery issue and im being told since I didn't put it in vehicle maintenance mode there is nothing that can be done about the $75 lockout fee. I have had multiple issues with this company and am now having it removed and they are charging me $150 to remove. This is a higher fee then the install fee for the new device and the new company is going to charge less per month. Avoid intoxalock by all means terrible company!

Worst company ever. Customer service is a joke. Refused multiple times to forward me to a supervisor. One person will tell me one thing, then when I call back, they tell me the exact opposite. I've had 7 different devices in my car within 6 months due to faulty tech. The company will NOT reimburse for all these installs. They even locked me out for 10 days saying that I did not drive the car for over a month. I drove EVERY day and cannot start the car without blowing into it. They have photos and the milage, but still say I didn't drive it. They then reported a violation to the state and now I'm pushed back 2 months, having to sign a whole new lease. I have filed formal complaints on Intoxalock with both the BBB and the State. Also reached out to a lawyer to begin a civil litigation against them

Broke on the way home from the install!! Had trouble getting it to work at the install site.5 minutes driving home,asked for a random test? Pulled over,followed instructions,kept reading "Blow Harder"??? Had car towed home.Has not worked since Customer service is useless?? They tell me to get a note from doctor?? Worst kind of joke ever played on me!! Have to have it? But no one says it has to work???

Wow. After months of getting unsolicited emails and phone calls, they finally figured out that they’re sending the wrong stuff to the wrong email address. I called this horrible company 15 TIMES in the last year to get this rectified and they just recently had me on hold for 18 minutes and then hung up on me. STAY FAR AWAY

Absolutely horrible nothing but issues… Absolutely horrible nothing but issues from day one I have had this device in two different company trucks . Most recently brand new truck now key fab doesn’t work,power locks window radio and interior lights . Now they have suspended my license due to two lockouts ,from false readings ,pump failure,it got so bad for last two months it would take me five times of blowing to get it to take a reading multiple times failed start then 30 seconds later passed ,finally they had changed device and cord twice and still false readings. Now license is gone I have received removal documents from RMV and sent to them as directed and nothing after 3 different times on phone wasting hours and I couldn’t understand representative now I can’t even get the thing removed . It’s beyond me how this company is still in business absolutely ruined my life .

The intoxalock device was instsiled wrong and seriously dammage my vehicle.They had poppers documenting and still refused to repair.It is impossible to get anyone on the phone.When you do they are in Pakistan of India and really do not care about resolve.Even after all the problem they have caused my the sold my personal information and now I get harassing sales calls all day.The worse copany I have ever done business with.They had no concern about anything...

"This company is a complete rip-off. I'm supposed to pay about $59 every two weeks, but every other two weeks they come up with some bogus violation on the interlock device just to charge me more than double . It's a blatant cash grab. If you want to avoid getting scammed and overcharged for no reason, do yourself a favor and stay far away from these folks."

Worst company ever, DO NOT USE THEM, I repeat DO NOT USE THEM, I turned the equipment in. I had the personal alcohol monitor to the service center. I got it I got it from and did all my calibrations. I’ve spoke to the service center. They sent it off and intoxicalock is trying to hit my card for almost $1500 over three weeks ago this equipment was returned, They are a mess of a company. do not use them.

Their equipment is outdated and inferior to other companies' equipment. It cost me over $300 to have it removed and Lifesaver equipment installed. They are dishonest and will make false statements to have you extended upon review. AVOID INTOXALOCK LIKE A PLAGUE.

This company is completely unprofessional. No one speaks English, they refuse to put a supervisor through to me. I called to schedule the device to me removed from our car, and the Indian woman tells me I have to pay $63 to close my account, AND pay the place $150 to remove the device!!! This is a complete scam. They never told us that; this company only cares about taking money from people. They don’t care about people’s safety. They’re just here to take money and rip people off! My DUI was 18 YEARS ago; they put in the wrong VIN number upon installing the device so they wasted 2 weeks of my time getting that corrected. This company is disgraceful and has no right being in control of people’s drivers licenses!!!

Got 2 unwarranted violations within 3 days, 2 weeks from the end of my lease. I've sent 5 emails and they've all gone unanswered. Customer service via phone was dismissive and gave me incorrect information. Choose another company if you can.
