“I have served my time and even have my regular license. I try to call intoxalock for removal and sit on hold for very long. I need a calibration and got behind on my payment after i got my regular license, and am trying to call in to do a partial payment, so i can get a calibration and have been on hold 2 hours! Ive had so many BS lockouts triggered and paid for, I want it out! But not just getting through, but I work full time days, and its hard to get to an intoxalock shop during any other hours. I even had my car attempted to be stolen and i had to pay for new devices and camera. I want to calibrate and remove this, and make payment arrangements. But reaching an actual person is near impossible on a weekend!”

“I do not recommend Intoxalock for anything in the world, they have terrible customer service, when you call they leave you waiting more than 2 hours for them to attend to you, it is too much stress to deal with this company. If you know another company, I recommend you go with the other one.”

“I had a court order to remove an intoxalock for my son who was in jail and they said since I was not on his account they weren’t able to do it. I was on hold every time I called to try and resolve this for at least 30 minutes at a time and an hour and a half the final time before I finally decided to let his attorney deal with them and I’d pay him. It is so disheartening to see them take such advantage of people. I have no doubt they continue to charge him even now which is why I feel like I am getting the run around each time I call.”

“The device malfunctioned and fell off. Not only did it take two weeks for the company that installed my device to get a new device. They wouldn't refund my money I had to spend to rent a car cause I didn't have my vehicle. The supervisor was rude. Then called me back and basically lied on the installation company trying to say the device was tampered with. But they are paying the inspection and reinstallation fee. Horrible company.”

“Intoxalock is a waste of money. Way too many problems. I pay 150$ a month for my car to not start. Drains my battery every 24 hours and leaves me stranded. Also they fine you for a dead battery. I had to pay $300 for them to uninstall and Intoxalock charged me $150 when uninstalling. The ignition lock goes off every 10 mins driving or not which is stupid. I highly recommend staying away from this company.”

“When I first went to get my device installed the company was 30 mins late and rude and unprofessional. Now I'm not able to access and schedule my calibration due to something on the company's end I've call for 3 weeks straight was just on hold for 30 mins to get hung up on I hate this is court ordered or they would be out of business. But yet they take my payment so perfectly without any issues. Sincerely a very disappointed customer.”

“I waited 45 minutes to schedule a removal and when someone answered, they immediately hung up. I had the mechanics that's affiliated with them work on my car twice and during both of those times, the mechanics weren't paying attention and interlocks lockout activated. The company took the money from my account and when I called to tell them to report the issue/mistake, instead of returning my money, they credited me. They made account negative and I had to find a way to get the money they stole. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!”

“If I could give less than 1 I would. They have horrible customer service every time I call I'm on hold at least an hr. Today after 1.5 hrs I hung up. Go to another company if you can. I'm trying to get it off and I can't even reach these people”

“I've had better luck getting in contact with the DMV than these folks. There's nothing on their site for submitting for a letter of compliance so that leaves you stuck on hold for HOURS just to get the basics of anything. I've got no intention of being in this predicament again, but if I could go back in time I'd do everything in my power not to do business with such a horrible company.”

“I have one month or so left of my interlock lease. Having said this, the first month or two was difficult, but the professionalism and care that intoxalock provided was amazing. I am so grateful for another chance at life and am going full steam! I also would like to thank the crew at Automaxx in knoxville, they were an asset to the process. Great folks! It is a long arduous process, but its better than prison or death. I have almost 500 days of sobriety. Thank God for this system.”

“This is the worst company I have ever had to work with. I have been charged with two lockouts that were not my fault in anyway and can't get anyone who I can understand to talk to. They are a huge ripoff!”

“This is the worst device, I have had issues since day one including buying 2 new batteries. Today I had a service 4 pop up and it took me 15 minutes before it finally allowed me to start my car, then 25 minutes to talk to someone at intoxalock and all they could tell it was a glitch. Kentucky should be ashamed to support this kind of service and yes I take full responsibility for what I did, but this so stressful. I would love to know what Kentucky does with all the money they get from this!”
