“Pathetic , bought a shag pile rug £128 and my bathroom mat is a higher quality. Contacted customer service and still getting the same nonsense from them! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Stephen Higgins”

“I wanted to give ‘0’ stars but there was no option. Rug was hideous & cost £179. They offered me a refund of £30 (wtf???) and told me it would cost £22 to ship it back to them. So £8 refund for me. What a scam company- how can they get away with it???”

“Also wish I had read the reviews, as I thought it was a UK company this is very misleading .my rugs are both faulty and certainly not worth the money .waiting on getting a reply from Irugs . On a positive note they did arrive on time but not the quality I expected as as other people said to send them back will cost more money”

“Gosh I wish I'd read all these comments… Gosh I wish I'd read all these comments before purchasing. Exactly what everyone else said -- hard to communicate with company, which are based in US but try to imply they are based in UK. My order took an extra 3 weeks to arrive! communication was poor. and get this, they routed my rug from US to UK VIA CHINA. why!? The rug itself is okay, nothing that special and maybe not worth the price I paid, but of course I will keep it because returns are so expensive and ridiculous.”

“Ditto Ditto Ditto. This company is/should be investigated under state law as its sending faulty/wrong stock. We ordered a £400 rug, sent completely the wrong one, said we could keep it and then would send a replacement. Customer services (Latoya) doesnt answer phone or emails. Have made a claim via Paypal but also talking to North Carolina state departments.”

“Dreadful experience with this company. Received faulty rug and they wouldn't pay for the return. They blocked my emails when I complained. I spent nearly £200 for a product not fit for purpose. Shocking!”

Do not touch this company. They are based in the states. Not a UK company. I have just moved and autofill put an incorrect address. Immediately contacted them to inform them. Looked at reviews of company, in hindsight clearly should have done this before! After my initial email changing address. I emailed again asking them to cancel my order. This was 27 minutes later. They deny receiving this email but said rug had been dispatched and I could return it costing me £22! I must have exchanged over 20 emails with this company. It went to the Launceston depot but was never delivered to me. It is on its way back to them. They will not refund me. Customer service is extremely disrespectful. Shocking company.”

“I bought the rug in a flash sale £139 to £39. I needed one quickly as my dog had an accident on my Dorma rug. When it arrived it appeared cheap in quality. Upon searching the same product on Amazon the tug is selling at less than £50. Same make, same materials, same made in country. SALE fool, fell for the 'flash sale' tag. More fool me.”

“BEWARE BEWARE - BEWARE - BEWARE Beware of this company. It states a uk web address, but if you wish to return your rug you have to pay shipment to USA or Switzerland. When you complain you are simply told it is in their returns policy. Do we expect to return everything and read every policy on a web page. No... we just believe the headlines. 30 DAY RETURN POLICY but you are mislead believing it is in the UK”

“it took me ages to choose a rug, from all the UK sites, I thought this was UK based as well. It arrived yesterday, what a lot of rubbish, this company should be ashamed to offer this quality to any customer. It is thin ,it cracklets as you roll it out ,the colours are nowhere like the pictures. in short dont even think about it. In fact this site should not be allowed in the UK.”

“DO NOT BUY A RUG FROM THIS COMPANY! They try to pass themselves off as UK based but they are in US. The Havana rug I purchased is faded in colour, very thin and cheap looking. It is still wrinkled 4 weeks later. Very overpriced for its (obvious) cheap quality. The most expensive online bad purchase for me to date.”

“I bought a rug. £179 in sale. Original price £300 very obvious flaw poor quality rug sent pictures but company say not damaged. To cost £22 to return refused to accept responsibility. Have taken up with trading standards but company is not British so can make their own rules when on phone I asked if the company wa in Uk. Told yes. Knew it wasnt they talked dollars and even suggested I put it into a thrift shop. Would not recommend this company at all”

“The rug I received bares no relation to the photograph, it is very cheap quality and does not lie flat despite folding it as instructed I wanted to put it on a wooden floor but it slips all over the place. The company says its Uk but it isn’t and you have to pay shipping to the US or Switzerland to return. Terrible quality and rip off for returns. Don’t buy!”

“Please do not purchase as they will scam you into play extra charges. I ordered a rug in June, unfortunately it was not true to colour so I returned it. They said I would have to pay the returns shipping charges which I thought was fair. However, after chasing my refund I got a fedex bill. This was not for the return but in fact for the original delivery. The refund has been paid for already and now I was asked to pay another £51.91 for the original import. When I bought the item it said free shipping as it does now if you go to buy an item. Please do not buy as they will send you an import bill.”

“I ordered two rugs from IRugs and at no point was it highlighted that the order would take 2-3 weeks at least to arrive! Very disappointed! Avoid this company!!”
